I'm used to reminding myself as I listen to her sing, that she is still a child, but with this one, I have to remind myself that the song was written AND being sang by a 12 year old girl. She's amazing.

My eye-brain-heart connection is usually confused with Angelina. We are blessed to have video recordings to document what the mind doesn't understand.

Those lyrics ... every time I listen to this song I try to imagine how it would feel to be a mother and have your daughter sing this song to you, knowing that she wrote those lyrics especially for you to hear.....

you have to remember she has over a decade in practice and emersion in her craft. She absolutely loves what she does and we benefit from her dedication and passion. Angelina is truly a phenomenon and a force to be reckoned with. As for her competition they need to step it up by leaps and bounds. Angelina a may have started singing covers, but she has studied and did her homework. she makes the covered songs hers and when she writes.... its all her all original and NOTHING else sounds like what she creates. no beats no riffs no lyrics.

Finally we can enjoy a video about Angelina again. First of all, you're making a reaction video, so it should be considered normal when you pause. Shield as she said in an interview is all about love, a strong love that protects you even from afar. Angelina has done so far 3 original songs... Shield, What Is Life and Oslo. All are very personal to her. It's like her thoughts on her diary that has been made into songs.

The dichotomy between her singing performances and her natural personality couldn’t be more striking. She sounds like an adult when singing, but watching and listening to her away from performing she reminds us that she is still an innocent child. I pray that her parents continue to protect her from the uber corrupt and greedy corporate music industry. Truth be told, the corporate music industry needs Angelina more than Angelina needs them.

This song was to her mother and the family that do everything so she can have a normal childhood. There is a live concert where she sings this song that are worth watching.

That train symbolizes the music industry/ her family / headed in different directions...The burning money scene is clearly showing us that she can let that go...art is more important to her- the colorfull hand made cross represents her commitment to be true to her vision. Another fun reaction to Angelina Gitana, thanks! Hmmm... you got my attention when you told us that you heard the song was about her mom or grandmother. It's a bit of a head scratcher isn't it? I don't know Angelina's religious background but this song certainly has Christian themes. She starts off all gussied up with her arms full of 'flowers'...kinda like someone wrapped up in the 'world'. Next we see her making an about face and heading the opposite way on the train tracks. Some might call that repentance. And then we see her emerging from a narrow passage way dressed in simple 'white' pilgrim's garb. Then she approaches and gives adoring homage and talks to this cross. She seems to be happy to be in the presence of this cross while completely indifferent to the money (bills) laying in the dirt. Probably there's a bunch more stuff that one might read into this video. --if you read the lyrics with that interpretation in mind it's hard to dismiss... a Christian view. here's Angelina's words. There are a few videos out there where we get to see Angelina acting her age. Watch her version of "Valerie" to see her goofing around at Venice Beach with her little sister. But you'll still have that same problem of separating the little girl in the video from the powerful vocalist in the audio. I think Angelina's own compositions will only continue to get better. Musically, they are already fantastic. The lyrics of her pieces are where you see the 12-year old peek through a bit. As she grows and experiences more of life, those lyrics are going to grow together with the music to make amazing songs.

But his music style is far from my favorite. I will always prefer jazz, blues and rock music. And Miss Jordan is the perfect singer for me. She is an amazing singer. Equal to some of the best that have ever been and she is being praised greatly. Now, going to be a tad critical. This song was average. When I think of the evolution of music and who the greats will be, I think of dimash. Very dynamic and imaginative singer. Jordan has the talent to be as imaginative. So.....why sing a song that is almost monotone in nature. Miss Jordan, take it to the next level.

She enters the tunnel wearing the costume she wore on AGT on the night that bought her to world wide attention and exited it in the white dress we all think of her wearing. then the Scarecrow is wearing all those colours.
