This song means a lot to Dan. He and his Father would listen to it when they were in the car together. If you notice how he looks up to his Father. His Father passed in 2017. Dan gets very emotional with his songs. Watch the American Trilogy . He recorded it 5 days after his Father passed. His Father was a big Elvis fan.

Simply stunning and magnificent performance here by Dan. Flawless in my opinion. I loved your interpretation and reaction. He’s probably the most talented, skilled & versatile artist I’ve ever seen and heard. He’s got a special talent to ‘metal up’ songs but there are some that he keeps true to the original. He loves symphonic metal but in my opinion, there are certain songs that I don’t think he would ever think to change…. such as Nessun Dorma, and his Elvis covers are among ones that I can think of. These are songs are very special to him and bring out so much emotion in him. I don’t know if you noticed the few tears he was shedding at the end of this powerful performance. Beautiful.🥲
