I totally agree with you. I will always comment that the emperors of China would have ensured the best fengshui for their palaces and their burial plots, but yet their dynasties fall, one after another.
Virtue ranks 1st. Then fate. Then FS. As time passed by, the succeeding emperors/kings lost the virtues of their predecessors, thus the downfall of the empires/dynasties. Besides other things, such as neglecting the plights of the subjects etc etc.

I. used to believe FS and for years and no breakthrough and there was a time I spent thousands on these FS experts but my life was so screwed up I nearly took my own life. After I stopped, my life turned around. People even commented why I’m so lucky and so blessed. What we listen to is important. Take care everyone.

Common sense is no longer common these days and that's the unfortunate thing. Logical reasoning would be the way to go. If one is to live by all the things said in Feng Shui, die lah like that. I believe that whatever life brings us, is a matter of our karma whether good or bad and the becomings of life through our action. Remember Newton's 3rd Law of Motion? For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. Thus, for everything we do today, consequences will eventually come one day. Just sharing my thoughts, no offence intended.

I was kinda concerned when I read the low fortune ratings for all categories for Rat in 2022, particularly the specific mention of possible risk of car accident as a certain Rat whom I know has the habit of playing videos on the handphone while driving. But then again everyone should avoid doing that too.

I think your intent was noble as your gratitude is clearly visible as you made it a point to acknowledge and say so about 3 or 4 times. Still it could be perceived otherwise. It was not necessary as the point could have been made crystal clear without egging your friends math or other comments.
The science humans knows now is not that super great. So don't treat it as know all. Chi and mind exists. What science now can't measure, qualify, quantify does not mean its not there. Some of the ancient knowledges has merit. Science is not super everything so is not correct to say things don't exists or crap when it doesn't understands. Period.

I just watched you on TV in Australia. I am also a clinician. It looks like you have a habit of calling out b.s. when you see it. I face this struggle often and I am still trying to find the best way of disproving/dismissing of b.s. in a way that does not offend in the short time I have with patients. I am allergic to all Fengshui thingy and its so called masters. I skip or turn off whenever those "masters" on air and that include Douglas Lim's special segment on them.
We all know he just wanna sell courses. It's his rice bowl. However,. Just know that, Nobody will help you, if IT doesn't benefit them as well. For example, IF a feng shui master can help you win a big sweep lottery, Why should they help you?, if that doesn't benefit them as well? they can just do it for themselves, right? Why would they want to take a portion of the win? Think about it. HOWEVER If they can "inspire " people how to use "feng shui" to manifest their dreams, by working hard,. Then , They would get "consultation fees" , "education fees" , "TIPS" (I'm sure you'll tip them when you achieve big money) , etc,. This will Also give them "status", "fame", "glory" and etc. Hence enhancing their reputation and enabling them to get more prospects. It's a better Win-Win for them.
I wish I could articulate like him. Been rejecting & challenging adults on Feng Shui, Zodiacs, Yearly Predictions since young. All I know is, want more luck, work hard to create it.... else Good Luck to you for believing in pseudoscience. 🤭 I remember challenging temples on science of walking on coals & moving chariots hold by temple people, remember challenging Predictions read to me when I was a child asking doesn't this advice applies to everyone? I remember faking movements of objects that even my family thought it was a sign of God. It's so easy to create things out of thin air that people believe in. I believe in the science of good training & management. I believe in not choosing dates for opening office. I open 7 days a week 14 hours a day. Believing in working hard will bring me more luck, no feng shui, no lottery tickets, no prayers & I grew from a RM70K biz into a RM2M business. Great video. i have one more to add - although nothing to do with the CHIT CHAT session... Have you noticed that every Feng Shui master has different interpretations given the same animal sign? It therefore cannot be based on science. For one particular sign, one master claims luck is bountiful while another claims its a 'sway' year.
Feng Shui and religion both give people the power of positive thinking and motivation (placebo effect). Non of the religions have protected their followers from Covid. Through positive thinking it might help them to recover by praying. Feng Shui unable to do anything to prevent Covid, maybe a mask works better in this case.

Placebo effect, in my opinion is science in a way. Psychology of a person has significant impact on a person well-being, thus affective their lives. Psychology = Science

Everything in the world would be part of science pain, anger, fear and etc but what Jason meant some outcome being repeatable and measurable in science. Unfortunately there is nobody yet who could confirm the effects of feng shui in a clinical trial being repeatable and measurable. Clinical trial is a scientific way to prove a theory.

But if it's a God that may have started the whole cycle of nature, then im not rulling out the possibility that there may be a God. The economists you see on TV or read on the papers often do give only generic outlooks. You first have to ask if you pay for that advice. Since you pay nothing when they dispense their “views” on TV or the papers, what makes you think he’ll share with you the real crux of his research? The economists you see talking on Bloomberg churn out detailed analyses and end them with specific investment recommendations. They’re for the consumption of the paying clients of the financial institutions for whom these economists work. These economists’ real day job are with specific teams within the investment management, investment banking or wealth management divisions of the financial institutions and their year-end bonuses reflect how much and how often their research and investment recommendations contributed by their research have made the right calls leading to profitable decisions for their employers and for their clients. Their day job isn’t to be talking heads on Bloomberg and it certainly isn’t to give free advice on the cheap on TVs and newspapers. You didn’t think the “generic stuff“ you get to consume for free when these economists go on the air or on the papers is the same as the version that his paying clients and his employer get to see and which his bonuses are based on, did you?

On my personal opinion fengshui is more like some common sense thingy. Not about any qi, fire, wind or whatever shit they've said. Like you don't put a glass of water next to the electric sockets. Or you will not build water tap next to the fryer. And yes i totally agree what Jason said , not only the pigs should learn money management. Not only the pigs should have a healthy lifestyle. Also to me fengshui is like a placebo.
Feng Shui IS A SCIENCE on how to tell things in a way that make people give you money by believing that there is something there when there isn't any. Much like energy, FENG SHUI can also be measured. But the unit of measurement is by dollars, Ringgit and other major currencies. And there are those who are Masters in Feng Shui that measured up in the millions like DJY and there are those who are amateurs who are broke because they haven't yet mastered the science!!! Hmm. Feng shui is different from fortunetelling, and almost all fortune-tellers know that prediction based on the zodiac signs is never accurate because it is only 1/8 of one's bazi. It is only for convenience's sake that predictions are done based on the 12 signs, like constellation. I hv no understanding of feng shui but to discuss it based on a scientific perspective is like aliens judging humans. It could be pure hoax but some research into it would be much better than negating it thru thermodynamics lol, just my opinion
It’s actually 12^4 categories per bazi theory, as it is further divided into year, month, day and hour. The “year” category is just the most common one.
