Great Job for standing up not just for your friend but the Harry Potter community! I have been a HP collector for 11 years and I have heard many stories about V.M and her bullying and lying. i have seen shady things from her too. One being three years ago she did a Go Fund thing to film on site at Harry Potter locations. Lots of people donated and she never filmed those locations. Another time she was online complaining about her son's wand being broken at the WB tour, her viewers paid for his new wand. Harry Potter and Wizarding World teaches you not to bully and take advantage of others. it's about love and acceptance. Not who is better. Sadly, it happens a lot in the Harry Potter community. Hi Dawson! I initially gave her the benefit of the doubt! But her actions have shown that she can not be trusted. Victoria, you do not claim injury and then the next two days post an outing that shows you are physically fit. Then to claim you have no funds to keep your promise when you take an outing that is spending money! You are the one who has ruined your own reputation amoung the Harry Potter community. That is a very sad thing! Then you pump out several YT videos about Honey Dukes! I do not know Christan personally, but I have gotten to know him by messages. But I am now in a position to raise a voice about injustice, and I will!
Just looking through some other youtubes. Very entertaining. I note you referred to her as Lady Victoria. Haha one of her moderators bought that for her. Its a fun thing but has no legal standing. Because it wasnt bestowed by royalty. Its just a novalty thing. But does show a valuable point. She has falsely elevated herself above everyone else. As some one who’s followed Victoria for years back when she was only a few thousand subs. I just discovered this and am shocked at what I’m discovering . Personally if I enter into an agreement I fulfil it as best I can esp if I get lots of gifted stuff. I hope she send box at least so he gets was he should . But why keep changing your story. I watched her video and thought it was a little weird that she was insisting to make the items but couldn't because of her back ; yet couldn't send out anything, at the very least, from her 10k Potter collectible items from her home. I'm a minor collector in comparison and could have curated an entire box in less than a few hours. Her video was just...🤨🤨🧐🤔🤔
Not only that but the video of the box she opened was filled with the weirdest amount of over explaining about her back and she felt so bad about it. It gave off a vibe of someone trying to convince us too hard of it. I have back issues so I get it but to be at the WB studio tour and not pick up anything? I would have bought whatever I could there even if the items didn't meet the swap requirements. I wanted to see the items but had to mute her speaking. Lol
10k. Yeah right. The woman adds about a thousand to the amount every month. When she appled for the gwr she said she had about 5.5k turned out she had just over 3k. And since my wife obtained both gwr she has always said an amount higher. Now she has learnt my wife is updating her record. Over the last few months that amount has jumped from 6k to now 10k. She loves to exagerate. She also likes to say she has a guinness world record for the largest collection. Constant lies. Lol. Never ending
Over the last three and a half years, I have VM do this to several lovely, lovely RU-vidrs and fellow HP community members and even to her own friends. The truth is starting to come out now.
Stated she will ship it on Monday after her trip to London...so the box was all made, packed and ready then?! As it should be given the fact it was all organised in January...
After a very polite and well worded message she then proceeds to say she doesn't have enough money to spend on completing the already completed box?! 😂 getting freebies and then listing them on ebay seems to be preferential over the box....
I founded and run "home made harry potter" on facebook and we ran box swaps for a long time but had to stop because of issues like this with reasons that didnt add up or varied with each communication. Seeing all that up to date content on insta and then being told contradictory information is not nice at all. Her name came up with various issues over the years. Im gutted for you. Its not just the loss of time, money and effort, its the injustice of it with all the contradictions and knowing it could have been rectified with help from her nearest and huge collection, with no affect on the health issues. Im really sorry this happened to you :(
I don't know Victoria but I know Christian well and he would never say anything rude. he's a very nice guy so if he's speaking his truth he's doing it in an empathetic and elegant way.
A message to ALL those affected. Many have now seen the reality of what has been going on. And have seen the true Victoria now. Many channels, that do not call you an army will welcome you into their Family. Because it is a place that you are to feel at home and wanted and not needed to inflate someones ego. Victoria's bullying and nastiness destroyed that for me, and I haven't felt a part of it since. Well done for standing up for your friend and speaking out. I’m sure there are many who did not know about this being a regular problem. Lucky for Victoria, the Harry Potter community is filled with loving respectful people. I always felt the signs were there but never saw any concrete proof. Bullies need to be called out so that the behaviour does not continue. You have stood up to her in the most respectful, mature manner with EVIDENCE. Something she has not yet done. Hopefully she acknowledges her poor behaviour. All it needs is some accountability and a sorry for everyone to just move on in an amicable way. Hopefully she steps up to the plate rather than playing the victim. I think it’s about time people learn that they can’t just play the victim to get out of trouble.

I’m not at all surprised by all of this coming out about her. Hopefully she will do better going forward.

@Erin Sheline as you may or may not be aware she has been putting my wife down, and making not so nice comments in the background for nearly 7 years. I do wonder if thats the reason my wife struggles for followers and interaction some times. But it is the way it is. Victoria says this was a mistake. I remember that she was a spoke person for a wealthy man in Scotland that he would give away to a lucky person the first edition Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone book. It was a competition he wanted to open a Harry Potter theme park in Scotland, I hadn't heard anything else. What I remember it was at least 2 years before COVID. So, you can't use that excuse. Very sad for Christian as I had watched her unboxing and feeling quite uncomfortable to watch it, feeling bad for the person who got her and what an amazing box she had unboxed. I mean I've had back pain but come on seriously she had three months to complete...no excuses.
I got two tickets to enter into that draw for a chance to win that book which she said she was drawing on a Christmas Day which never happened and she never addressed even though she promoted it. I did ask her in a Q&A about it and she said the owner had had a nervous breakdown, it would have been nice for her to inform her followers especially as she promoted it so heavily.

The world we live in is a very flawed place and new issues seem to surface almost daily. It seems easy for people to be cruel to one another which makes trusting, in general, sometimes, very difficult. Much like an actor in a movie, people like to show you their best self and you don’t always get to see what’s just below the surface. On the flip side, it’s also easy to think you know someone, but at the same time, be completely unaware of the struggles, both internal and external, that they might be going through. I started my channel as a place to escape to. A place of positivity to share my love of something with others and hopefully give them a place to, also, escape to. Through that, I’ve found a community of amazing, creative, and supportive people that I never imagined I would encounter. I say all this not in defense of or attack against anyone, but as a reminder to everyone and as a thank you to those who’ve made my time in this community so amazing. It’s sad that anyone would do anything to take away from that sense of community, but in this situation, they did the complete opposite. When one person threatened that community, another stepped forward and restored the faith by thanklessly doing what a community does; they look out for one another. The saying goes “You can’t choose your family”, but you can choose those you want to be a part of your community (and extended family). All-in-all, this just validated what I already knew. There are both good people and bad people. I choose to believe that the good outweighs the bad. Hopefully, I’m right. Thanks, Dawson, for sharing.
HAHA I love your channel name! I sort of wanted to do an HP channel swap, simply because I have done swaps with other friends and it's been really fun, but really I detest drama so now kinda scared. LOL. I'm not trying to talk trash, but I never could get through one of Victoria's videos. She just annoyed me by being so over the top happy and ghushy it didn't feel real and I just had to turn her off. LOL So for that reason not very surprised + feeling a bit gratified about my judgement. My sister is always saying I'm mean, but like I just have grand instincts. Victoria should've sent him a box of he new items she has, people are always sending her things it seems, so even if she didn't have every item on the check list, she could've just given him extra. Like I can't make the exact swap so I sent you 200 dollars worth of product or whatever, that's fair and he'd have gotten more so yeah, probably would not have minded that. As a patreon I would like to reply to the part in your video that really offends and is about me personally. . i have never trashed anyones channel and have never been asked to trash anyone's channel by Victoria. Give me credence for my own opinions. trashing people online is not something I personally do. I follow a few creators. I have my own opinions. And don't waste my time watching or "trashing content" that I don't enjoy. I simply stop watching it. I don't appreciate you or others lying about me and my friends in this way. Life is too short to trash other people. I feel really insulted that people would think that of me and my friends. Personally I find only two HP collectors I enjoy watching on RU-vid. The rest I don't enjoy. That's my choice. If people do receive negative comments about their content they should maybe have a look at the content they are producing rather than making the assumption that someone else has put them up to it. And I know I'm late to this and it has nothing to do with me but I just think you should at least amend statements to not include her subscribers or patreons. The battle you support is with Victoria not her followers or patreons. So I think they deserve an amendment to this video please. This video is pretty laughable in many ways I AM NOT INTERESTED But very offended also as I am patron of Victoria Maclean, for a matter of fact, Iv known Victoria Maclean and seen her with her patrons and her family for over 2 years including Ruth Wynn and Re:root your life (nobody asked me to comment I just looked) in the comments Iv known over 100 and Victoria has made this magical circle for us where we can all feel together, unlike you your spreading a lot of NEGATIVITY and Hatred. On both of the videos the statements are backed up with evidence. Neither are bullying VM, she brought all this on herself by her actions. VM has hurt and bullied so many people over the years. Her behaviour is catching up with her.
Thanks for this video. I didn’t know about any of this. I remember her uploading a video that was sent to her from the Easter box. I remember thinking after watching that video, of how rude she was stating she didn’t have time basically to send her box out. I’m a small creator of only 3k subs, I’m not from Harry Potter however, but I was subbed to her. I have now unsubbed, as a RU-vidr, even small one, we cannot lie to our followers like this. One thing that has always confuses me about her channel, is the subscriber/view ratio doesn’t add up. She has maybe 20k subscribers but will only get 1/10th of that in views, if not less. So, I think she’s been buying followers. Yoj & Christian just earned a new subscriber, I’m so sorry he had to deal with this. Just sad.
