How I turned my £17,000 wedding into a £10,000 wedding - I shaved £6,000 off my day and don't feel like I am compromising on anything important. Welcome to my real UK wedding budget where I share tips to save money and cut costs from my own personal experience.
This is a full wedding costs breakdown. There are definitely ways to do it even cheaper but this is how I've planned my dream day, without feeling like I am compromising - I hope you find it useful!
I should also add, as I forgot to mention it, that we booked our wedding for a week day and out of peak season - for money saving reasons!

I love this. Weddings can be so expensive so finding ways to minimize spending is definitely the way to go. I love how organized you are in planning for your wedding expenses. Can’t wait to see or hear about the wedding!

I'm in the middle of planning my wedding this year too! I found it super helpful how you shared your spreadsheet with us, it definitely gives me a rough idea what to look out for! And I was shocked by the cost of the registrar and notice of marriage too..like OMG!?

If you have a baby you could name her Genevieve if it is a girl because it is a beautiful name and it would suit the name of your baby or Christian if it is a boy because it would also suit. What do you think.
