Thank you for sharing this flip-through of your recipe notebook. I appreciate seeing the detailed view. And yes, I had to pause the video to get a snack. You made me hungry 😂 BTW, I couldn’t help but notice that your Field Notes collection appears to be growing. 😊
Ha! That always happens to me when I'm watching cooking RU-vid. The collection has its own life now and expands of its own free will! Thanks for watching!
I had discovered your channel just yesterday. I viewed the to do list video first and binge watch a few more. Your videos are so entertaining and interesting. Love the humor. I’m amazed that I watch you go over your recipes book. (That is something I would never do with other channels on keeping a notebook). Looking forward to seeing more content.
Great flip-through! I just ordered my very first Field Notes (Expedition waterproof) and first Blackwing pencils (Volume 200) thanks to being introduced to both on your channel. Very excited to try them out.
@@BlankFirstPage You're welcome, enjoying the channel!! Would be cool to see a video just kind of seeing u shuffle through your Field Notes collection to just see what u have. Could probably do 2 videos actually.....1 of the unused ones and another of the completed ones.
Thanks for taking us on a tour of your recipe book! I love all kinds of bread. Good bread is my favourite food in the world and I make special trips to get it. I don’t make bread though. I really should considering how much I love it. I have a Midori A6 that I use for recipes I find online and use often.
Agree 100% about bread. I could live (and at times have) on just bread and butter! How do you find the Midori? I have been looking at getting one to use as a work notebook.
Thank you for watching! I can for sure - out of interest what about the flip through do you enjoy - just looking at the pages, hearing some background to the notes or both?
It probably doesn't fit the channel very much (if at all), but this video always makes me want to see Lukas' cooking process, maybe the recipe Field Notes on the side, cooking and scribbling xD
Btw did you ever try the leuchtturm 1917 a6 jottbooks? They look a bit like the field notes, but they have an index, numbered pages and a small backpocket.
@@BlankFirstPage yes, i also use these for bullet journaling since a couple of years and the quality is great (the leuchtturm and also the dingbats (earth collection) A5 are my favourite notebook brands). I really like these two brands because they combine all the attributes i value in a notebook - paper quality, light dot grid, index, numbered pages and a small back pocket. Also, both brands can be easily ordered on amazon - at least here in france, and the pricing is more than correct for the quality.
My dad used to make Tepache, it's an acquired taste because it is not very popular, oh heck! Most mexicans haven't even tasted it 😂, def I will be taking some recipes to try out...
