Akhi you misrepresented Abu Taymiyyah in a lot of what he said. Abu Taymiyyah agrees with all those general statements you brought and he even mentions some of those in his video. What he argues is applying those statements on the ajan today, how to do it? Establishing who really is a mubtadi, and based on what do we make tabdee? How to apply these ahkam on them? How to weigh between the pros and cons in doing so? Etc. Most importantly and he makes this clear more than once, is that he is not giving his opinion on these matters, rather he is mentioning what the scholars have mentioned…

Brother, Abu Taymiyyah inserted clips or statements about sheikh fawzan and some other shuyukh that were quite misleading. Those shuyukh are quite known for their firmness upon the Sunnah. Once I saw the clip about sheikh Al fawzan, I saw other clips where he spoke of the misguidance of Sayid Qutub's books. I am actually pleased about brother's response. I honestly think this brother Faris was polite compared to some other refutation video I watched.

And How what scholars said about his books, Sheikh Al-Fawzan has only two fatwa about Sayyid Qutb. The first is that he said: Be silent, do not say good or evil. The second says that there are errors in his books, and this is not accepted, and there is good too, and this is accepted. He also said that sheikh Ibn Baz رحمه الله praised him after his death, and this is true. And All of this is a response to those takfiri Ahzab that made a takfeer on him and kick him out of the deen completely without accountability or any fearing from Allah !

Look, simply you haven’t even spoken to the brother directly, replying to a video is in no-way an academic, scholarly practice to bring about benefit to the public. I have followed you for a while and heavily noticed that your influence and perception of the Salafi dawah comes down to a handful of individuals that you mentioned in the beginning, who do not even work with many of the active students of knowledge that teach mutoon and dawraat. Surprising and Fishy right. So I genuinely request you don’t just take from this so called narrative of “it’s our way or the highway” there are ulama, and students of knowledge that although may disagree with points, their brotherhood and co-operation in spreading the Salafi dawah and producing strong tulaab is very very firm. May Allah keep them steadfast. This brother that you don’t even know has the kunya after his daughter, and yet you want to talk about the details of his aqeedah and manhaj. I suggest you look at his studies, look at his credentials, his “authorisations” from teachers and scholars. Maybe he refers back to scholars before making these decisions, then what? He has a hujjah. It would be different if this was a man just walking around making up his own principles, but just because one or two “Shaykhs” from south England claim he went against the principles of dawah, that in no way is substantial evidence for a person of knowledge to write someone off. I don’t blame you, you’ve just been exposed to the wrong crowd. Honestly, sit and converse with the *active* *accredited* and *qualified* students of knowledge of UK. You’ll benefit bi’idhnillah.
I watched half of his video but so much of it was Arabic recitation that i couldn't understand it as an English revert and got lost. I imagine the rest of the video discussed innovators too. All this finger pointing as to this person's an innovator, that person's an innovator, don't associate with him, he's wrong, he's right.... it's very difficult to digest as a new Muslim and just leaves me confused. Do I even need to pay attention to this stuff yet?

I don't know what this is about but the little bit of the video showing this Abu too busy explaining/defending himself? ain't nobody got the time to watch 5 hours of someone defending himself for whatever purpose! If you're in the right, then Allaah will defend you even if you choose to be silent about it but if you're too busy defending yourself to the extent that you feel the need to make a 5 hour long video then you are definitely suspicious. Even for an important topic like lecture about explaining Shirk, 5 hours is too long, lectures should just be for about 1-2 hours, but 5 hours? But of course from the little bit of what I've seen of this Abu's video, it's clearly not a lecture about Islamic knowledge. 5 hours? Really? I repeat, ain't nobody got time for that!
Have you watched the whole video or just want comment falsely? For ur information, The Salaf used to take more than five hours to explain a certain important issue in the deen , so it has nothing to do with the time at all..

If you truly value your time then leave this Abu and listen to the lectures of people who are really following the Salafus Shalih like brother Hassan Somali (hafidzahullah) for example. This Abu need to fear Allah with that 5 hour long video, just listening little bit of it, it sounds like he's whining that his face got hit and that someone don't return his salam, ya ilahi! If he is sincere then he should not care if people returning his salam or not let alone exposing other's sin of not returning salam and saying the F word through a 5 hour long video on RU-vid, he's highlighting that in the beginning to bait you into watching his 5 hour video.

Im not sure if u have agenda or whats your agenda, Allah knows best but please whatever it is or not just keep it offline, If you have something good about him say it, if not then go talk to him one on one. The ummah doesn't need these kinds of videos instead use your energy and the knowledge you have for the good of Islam if its dawah, or just a lecture that people can learn from. May allah keep us all in the straight path and not let the shayaten get in between us.
It is obligatory to refute misguidance . These refutation may guide some of the people who are being lead astray from the truth. You will have to answer to Allah on the day of judgment for speaking against Islamic principle of clarifying truth and refuting falsehood. If it is not because of the fear of these refutation ahlul biddah will openly promote their misguidance and people will think there is nothing wrong with these belief since no one is speaking against them. If you were to enter hellfire because of your misguidance on the day of judgment would you not blame the scholars and duat who did not warn you about these people who lead you astray.
These kind of ignorant comments are the reason why there is so much baatil in the ummah. These deviants need to be refuted, otherwise they will keep spreading corruption and mislead people!
so sad you say your not slandering Abu Taymiyyah but your doing exactly that you should take the prophets advice and stop back biting your brothers that are doing good work in the dawah scene. End of day you can refute everyone as much as you want, doesn’t really matter to me. All I’m saying is that in my experience Salafis have been the some of the most ill-mattered, aggressive, and rude individuals I have come across. But I guess every scholar is deviant and nobody should be trust, seeing that everyone calling everyone out constantly. And people wonder why the youth are showing a disinterest in the Deen, cause whenever they just dip their toe in it’s like a war zone. I can’t even follow a madhhab in peace without someone calling half the scholars untrustworthy. Wallahi I’m sick and tired of this nonsense, Alhamdulillah by the will of Allah I left my times in Jahiliya and started to take my deen seriously because it made my life easier and simpler, and this stuff leaves an absolute disgusting taste in your mouth
@@Ikraam1418 The constant refuting of people has made me believe there are no orthodox people. So be it Abu Taymiyyah or any other scholar in existence. If their position sounds too lenient, strict or weird than traditional Islam. Then, I will research it more deeply. We only accept the Haqq as per the Qur'an, Sunnah and understanding of the Salaf. I will stick with people who take the deen seriously, like Abu Taymiyyah. He teaches the deen and doesn't just throw it in your face. May Allah guide us and keep us on the straight path.

I used to listen and like Abu taymiya but definitely noticed a trend of not clarifying issues and running to justify clear errors with unclear speech of a scholar or Hadith an ignoring the clear ahadith and speech of scholars relating to the same issue.. audbillah! No doubt Allah will deal with us all.. but not a 'false testimony' by Allah its clear if you're actually aware of scholars position and clear statements regarding the issue of criticizing muslim leaders openly... and of course sincere,!! May Allah guide us all my bro.. small advise, when it comes to deen of Allah leave your emotions/feelings (that can be manipulated by Shaytan) farr away. Our Deen is Allah said.. then prophet pbuh said followed by, 1st the direct companions,2nd and 3rd generation.. and finally authentic scholars of the ummah. Being blind fan boys is not from our deen.
