I lost a sister in 1981,I lost my Grandson in 2015, taking care a father with Prostate Cancer and losing his eyesight as well, my daughter suffers from Mental Illness,But God keep Giving me the Strength even when I feel weak 🙏🏽❤️

I know how you feel. It has been 7 years this year since I lost my 3-year-old son. And I still cry. The pain never goes away.

If you have not lost anyone like a child or parent you do not understand what a person goes thru daily! I lost my mother 5 months before Rickey loss Brandon and I remember that am when he played that song and I cried like him and every time I play that song it brings that out in you!

I am 46 now and I lost my older brother over 20 years ago. I still after all this time have strong emotional moments on two days out of the year and that is January 9th which was his birthday and July 3rd which is the date he passed. On these days I have to stop at some point and just reflect on him. I’m sharing this to let you know I understand what you’re going through with your emotions and I understand. Be blessed my brother.

Be encouraged. I lost my son Jan 21, 2018. Worst day of my life. The next 4 years were the worst of my life. You are exactly right, in year one through year four, the approaching of his birthday, holidays, family gatherings, and vacations were all triggers that if I wasn't careful, I'd look up and it would be three days later. I know your pain. You and grieving parents everywhere are in my thoughts and prayers. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

The fact that you are able to take all that life throws at you and still be able to make us laugh and encourage us daily is a testament to your character and the man that you are! Sometimes the strong need somebody to hold their arms up! It’s easy to kick a person when their knee has hit the mat. But, what they don’t know is, that downed knee is what has connected you to God and what continues to give you strength. Keep taking that knee! Pray your way through it all!

You don’t have to explain to anyone. Praying for you always. I understand how grief can hit you. It hit me that I have lived over half my life without my mom right in the middle of the grocery store. Tears started streaming. Grief hits like that.

As a mother who has loss a child, I automatically knew that your tears was about your child and not about anything else! Rickey I am so sorry that you are a part of this group of parents who have loss a child! Yes, we serve an awesome God and He will see us through. I completely understand everything he’s saying about the season triggers. When I lost my son it’s a whole lot of stuff that triggered me especially my anniversary because my baby passed on my anniversary, and when the sun would come out in June the sound of a doorbell from when the cops rang my bell to tell me my baby was gone. The list is endless. The biggest thing we should take away from this is the fact that Rickey still spoke kind words towards Katt even after he spoke poorly about him. That’s how I do. The blessing that will come over his life for that is going to be amazing. I was crying so bad one day to a room full of my “friends” and looked up and caught one of the recording me on her phone. How could you call me a friend or say I love you and you record my melt down about my baby. 🤦🏽‍♀️ now 3 years into losing him my husband was taking from me. And everybody we helped turned their back on me now that I’m in need. Oh but God!!!!!!

Rickey when people don’t know your pain, it’s easy for them to be judgmental. I know your pain, depression, anxiety and not understanding how I’m gonna make it through. My son was murdered 6/28/2020…the worst day and year of my life. I’m still trying to put the pieces together. We love you Rickey, let’s get through this together, parent to parent❤❤

I saw the video and Cried cuz I knew how you felt. My son's mother was murdered over a year ago then right behind it we lost a son so trust me I understand. You can't take bites only nibbles. It's beyond explanation. As far as people can be very callous and love kicking people. I hate I seen the video cuz I felt every bit of your pain I wish I didn't damn I wish I didn't. But I have to try be strong for my family cuz they need me to be the leader I am. You're just an imperfect man Ricky life is always gonna throw curve balls at you you just have to prepare yourself. When you cried…I automatically knew that cry. I lost my son 8 years ago and ANYTHING…I MEAN ANYTHING can trigger an emotional response. My son was murdered. His birthday month is January...the holidays are hard. I know how that feels. We try to work through it, but grief and loss, like trauma....are tricky. Intensive Outpatient Therapy and spiritual guidance (not some entity outside of me) helped me cope... IT'S GONNA BE ONGOING. You'll be okay.
