Nah, Reviewbrah needs to stay neutral (like Tim Pool to an extent). No corporate interests/lobbying and stuff like that. I hope his patreon keeps growing, though.
I'm concerned with the toilet being that close, not for odor or anything like he mentioned but piss splash getting up into that seat fabric. They don't take those off and clean them regularly so it's gonna get nasty, toilet water splash as well.
The fact that he said "shield the world from you" first gives us insight into Reviewbrah's psychology. He knows he is a force to be reckoned with, and he isn't sure the world is ready to witness his true form.
@@TheReportOfTheWeek After almost 3 years since the video was originally posted, this reporter still reads his comments and encourages more people to enjoy his experience. What a great guy.
s alvanip The beautiful part is that despite being almost 40 minutes you can now go through life also not needing to watch one of those videos of someone giving a tour of their Japanese apartment. So you probably saved some time. Unless you already watched one of those then just treat this as a learning experience.
What roped me in to reviewbrah was his My Average Day series. Something about the long form videos is incredibly relaxing. Now you've got me searching these apartment videos, lol.
You were in my dream last night. I was in a car riding to California from New York and saw you at a gas station. You were headed in the same direction so I offered a ride. My dad was confused when you got into the car with us and normally I would be very anxious about such a situation, but not this time. I knew you'd be incredibly polite and agreeable so I had no worries in my mind, even though my dad never quite understood who reviewbrah was or what he did, we had such a pleasant trip. It was one of the most relaxing dreams I've had in many years.
I wonder why he hasnt done any street food or carnival/concert food as they're still food related and cheap in price. Also wanna see him doing nation food review like Vietnam's pho, Indonesia's rendang, India's masala, etc because it will get many views and new subscribers.
Im not even kidding because of this Im looking into amtrak and going with my dad on a vacation to sightsee and see some great sites in the US. looking into visiting the glacier national park. Seriously, thanks Reviewbrah. You are god's gift to us no doubt.
MrMittenshasatophat coming from someone who lives in Montana and works at Glacier NP during the summers, if you want a really god experience i suggest avoiding the months of June and July it is PACKED with tourists and people feel rushed. Glacier is an amazing and beautiful place (most of Montana is but I'm bias). So take your time and enjoy it! Watch out for Moose and bears! Hope you have a great experience! And lake McDonald is absolutely beautiful!
I love how this comment section isn’t so messed up like every other you tubers everybody here appreciates ReviewBrah he makes the best content and everybody just loves it !
Dylan Uzumaki there are plenty of people here who just make dumb comments for likes but I’m scrolling and seeing a decent amount of sincere ones thankfully!
I have no kids! I would adopt him! 💖 Also I wonder if he has seen Babylon Berlin Series? The train reminds me of that show..but olden day trains were by far the very best!
“So you can certainly shield the world from you, or shield you from the world vice versa, whatever you’d like to do there.” This video is fantastic. The world doesn’t deserve you reviewbrah
reviewbrah, i heard you say "freakin" with a furrowed brow, i hope you're ok bro, don't get too upset, we got you... New equipment problems, no worries, we appreciate your efforts, don't lose your cool brah...
Around 8 years ago I would turn on my hotspot from my phone to trick people into thinking Amtrak had wifi onboard. I would name it like Amtrak wifi beta. It was the talk of the observation car and the conductor would always be dumbfounded.
The whole dining car experience with a formal restaurant has a sort of quaint charm of a sadly bygone era. Basically there's nothing more fitting for you than to be riding Amtrak and eating in the dining car wearing your suit
@@maxsmith8196 Not if you have thick skin and don't give a rat's over what silly people may think. Let 'em talk, couldn't care less. After all, an 'oddball' in today's fat, dumbed-down, slobby, tattoo riddled, confused mainstream society is nothing to ashamed about. Walk tall and flaunt it..
I took my daughter on the Coast Starlight, Los Angeles to Seattle, when she was 4. I had to go on business. We had the roommette with the bathroom down the hall, but the bedroom units were empty, so we used those bathrooms. The diner food car was good. There was a complimentary snack basket in the roommette upon arrival...fruit, candy, wine. The porters, as they were then called, pretty much adopted us and took good care of us. We had a lot of fun, and even though it was years ago, she still remembers it. Glad you enjoyed.
I think this is the best video you've made man. I find all your videos relaxing and enjoyable, but this one especially. I often watch your channel after work to wind down. After a stressful day, it really helps. I guess it's just comforting to see someone who is genuinely... well, a good guy. I recently heard someone refer to you as this generation's Mr Rogers, and I'd have to agree. You remind me of him in your sincerity, serenity, and warmth. Welp, hope your channel continues to grow. You deserve it.
Been on the Amtrak from Los Angeles to San Antonio many times, you're right about the food! You plan your day around breakfast, lunch and dinner. Always had great service from all levels of service and hospitality. Slept like a baby even when the train was bumpy - like being rocked like a baby. You meet alot of great people too, especially in the dining car. Alot of stops that last forever. Used to have a smoking car - I wonder if they have those still
Brilliant , brilliant humorist--amazing that somebody so young has mastered the art of understatement. Check the comments below--his audience gets it and he just keeps rolling along. Endless possibilities for him as well--fantastic stuff!
Amtrak is an incredible experience. Their designs are so thoughtful and convenient, their accommodations are so spacious compared to any other mode of travel, and their staff are so courteous. The view is incredible, the food is wonderful, and I really don't have a single bad thing to say about it. The one thing missing from this review--which is understandable given that you had a private room--is that I always meet the most interesting people on the train. I'm not a social person and have a hard time making new friends, but there's something about the train in America: People don't take it unless they want to. Planes are faster, and cars offer more freedom. So the train tends to attract all sorts of interesting people who specifically want to ride the train. I've had such fascinating conversations over the years. On one occasion I remember talking to a student who wanted to build peace in the Middle East and intended to move to Libya. This was before the Arab Spring and the revolution there. I wonder what became of her. On another occasion I remember once sharing lunch in the dining car with an old woman who had ridden the train many a time in her life, and this was her last ride. She wanted to do it once more for old time's sake. Such interesting people! You'll never be disappointed if you ride the train with goodwill, and good attitude, an appreciation for the little things, and--fair enough--a good eight hours of extra padding in your travel planning, to account for those delays.
Same here. I dont really like the chit chatter much, so train rides are a nice pace 4 me to just listen to music, watch movies and just take my time getting to my destination. One particular train ride I met 2 sisters in their 70's. They said since children they loved to ride the trains. I was so intrigued by these women, full of life and both had a sense of humor. They offered me gin and chips😂😌 it was so much fun. I hope all is well with them. Such lovely ladies.
This may sound weird, but you remind me of James Spader. You have a quirkiness and your own fashion style that not many people could pull off, but you rock it 100%. You are respectful, and honest and don't need to be outrageous or loud or shocking like some youtubers in order to gain views. You are downright awesome and I love your vids!
I'm not sure what it is, i feel wonderfully captivated by you, i can feel the emotions from your eyes, and it hits my heart and soul, the people are correct, you are too beautiful for this world. Great video.
He is the type of guy you'd want your daughter to date. He has class, talks with respect and great vocabulary, not slang. I'm sure he respects women and is a gentlemen.
One of my absolute favorite things of many about you review brah, is your lack of buzzwords such as "wild, lit, savage, bet, etc etc. I find it extremely refreshing. In fact, I wish more people refrained from using popular slang. Personally, the use of these trendy slang words makes my skin crawl and when someone uses these words I know they are completely inauthentic and I know to stay away from that person because I know that nothing they say will add any value to my life. I wish the entire fanbase felt the same way but unfortunately, that is not the case as I am reading some of these comments. I feel that I cannot escape these buzz-words unless I am watching your videos. Thankyou so much for existing and being true to yourself.
Your previous camera was great, honestly. The new one, like you've said, isn't the best. The quality is okay but the audio... Just switch back to the other.
I have watched this video half a dozen times since it came out. Ive been scared of airplanes for a few years now so there is something calming about trains to me. I also have a sort of romantic image in my mind about travel and specifically trains. I like the concept of just sitting back watching the countryside slowly pass by outside the window. You don't have to worry about traffic and I get a similar feeling with trains as I do with a rainy Sunday afternoon where I feel the pressure of having to get somewhere or do something is a bit less than normal so I can just relax. Something about how the train keeps moving helps me still my mind. I rode a lot of trains when I lived in Chicago and the Chicago L, though a great and cheap form of public transit doesnt have the same feeling as cross country trains or the Viewliner Roommette here. There is a lot of crime in Chicago and the trains are not immune from that. Many times gangsters, drug addicts, homeless, and general creeps can make relaxing on the train a bit harder. That combined with the fact that the Chicago L train is literally "Elevated" off the ground (how it got its name) and you are flying down the track suspended up in the air within mere inches from concrete buildings in many cases. None the less I still did enjoy riding the L train and it was a fun way to get around and explore all the different neighborhoods of Chicago. I occasionally would take the amtrak train to go out to the suburbs on the weekend and it was a much more relaxed environment. For one you are riding at ground level, secondly you are moving out of the city and into less densley populated areas but you get a cool view of the Chicago skyline and some of the industrial outskirts as you exit. Those industrial areas always seemed to be abandoned but still show signs of progress in that there were often tractors, box cars, or construction equipment near them. But the fact that they were always abandoned seemed gave me a quaint and calming feeling as if to say "yes there is still more work to be done but just sit back and enjoy the ride for now." Also on the amtrak trains at night everyone in the cabins would sit around and drink alcohol openly and there was a light feeling of celebration in the air on those Friday night rides home. People seemed relieved to finally be at the end of a long work week in the city and happy to be heading home to see their family or friends. For a brief moment when leaving Chicago's Grand Union Station the train would shut off all of its lights and then slowly begin accelerating down the tracks before the lights inside the cabin would eventually flicker back on. There was something very calming about that moment when the lights would turn off and you could hear the ambient noise of train itself, perhaps some light chatter, and a satisfying clunk of the train picking up speed slowly but steadily. Anyways just wanted to share that experience. I am no train fanatic and don't know much about them but they have always possessed a sort of magical quality to me in that regard. Now that I'm in Colorado I've only taken the train a couple times but I can still enjoy something as simple as a short train ride now and then. PS: I would love to see more train videos like this in the future. Perhaps looking at other room offerings or just to review meals served on trains or really anything at all. Even one of your more philosophical videos would fit well with a train ride.
One more thing. If you ever get the chance to check out a movie from maybe 10 years ago called The Darjeeling Limited I think you might enjoy it. The director Wes Anderson has a great eye for details and characters that are both believable but somehow novel in their own respect. Perhaps my favorite of all Wes Anderson's films is The Grand Budapest Hotel. If I had to recommend one it would probably be that but I love all his films. I know you aren't into more modern movies or the latest entertainment but I think you would really enjoy them ReviewBruh.
Thank you for this helpful review. I love trains. My Grandfather had been a conductor on the Pennsylvania railroad in the 1920's to 1940's. I have experienced train travel several times in my life but never a Roomette. I looks like a great value for the money.
Reviewbrah, If you would've just voiced over the entire video without preface, this would be a perfect video. You could have just paused at a screenshot of the food, and talked about it for 3 minutes, no need for explanations of equipment issues. I have no problem looking at a steak picture for 3 minutes. You do a great voice over. No need for excuses, as you already have the talent.
The Amtrak signature steak is a flat iron, which is a very nice cut, even nicer than sirloin. It is flavorful and tender, hard to do it wrong. You can get the same cut at TGI Fridays.
actually the audio is cool because it makes it sound vintage. Color this black and white and put some corny 50's music and you'd have an authentic infomercial for trains
I loved this video. You always are so detailed about everything you review i really got the experience. And you're an easy relaxed person to listen to.
