This is my review of the Ecovacs Deebot N79W. I have wanted to buy a robot vacuum for a few months now but most brands/ models had been either outside of my price range or offered functions I wasn’t exactly sure I would use. When I found this model on sale at Target for under $150 I finally decided to purchase it even though I wasn’t able to find much information about this particular model in reviews. (If I sound a little funny it's because I was recovering from Covid when I filmed this)

I want to update that my Deebot is still working perfectly after seven months of regular use. I run the Deebot about once/ twice a week and have been able to purchase some replacement parts (filters and brushes) off Amazon. Having two animals, the Deebot is a big help to manage the pet hair. Sometimes it pushes some fuzz around, but for the most part it does an adequate job and I don't regret my purchase at all! I enjoy less cleaning and more time to relax :)

You deserve a thumbs up if for nothing but the cat-robot dynamic. I may need to lure in one of the strays my hubby feeds. 😆 Seriously though, thanks for the info and the update you posted!

Aww, thanks a ton. The deebot definitely helps with the cat hair & the cat loves when I run the deebot so it's a win win.

Glad I could help :) Mine still works great on hardwood, but doesn't run on carpet well anymore. It will run for a bit and then act like it's stuck, but truthfully I wonder if it could be related to the spare brushes I got from Amazon. I have had it for a year and a half now and I haven't really decided if I want to buy new parts from the manufacturer or if I want to invest that money in a new model. Either way, I don't regret buying it at all, it saved me from vacuuming all this time :)

I have the same one, does yours sometimes pick up speed when it’s vacuuming and then slows down

Hmmm not that I've really noticed. It seemed pretty consistent unless it was turning around.

No, it only gives a few beeps when it powers on and when it returns to the power station.

I think that's a steal of a price. I use my Deebot weekly and it definitely keeps my hardwood free of dust and debris. It also gets me to pick up more frequently (so I can run the vacuum). I would definitely say it's worth it, but more of a hassle to use on carpet.

Same. It's possible they might treat humans better than humans do. 🤷 Jokes aside I love my self cleaning litter box and my new robot vacuum. I get to enjoy a clean house a bit more often 😉

Thank you! I'm still using it a year later, so I would say it's definitely worth what I paid for it. I run the Deebot like twice a week, and I don't really vacuum anymore :)

@@danapaintsstuff That’s great and for the price I believe it’s worth it. I was also told you have to keep them cleaned and maintained them, if not it won’t properly work. Some people just continue to let them go on and on without maintenance and then complain it’s trashy product. I appreciate your quick responses. Have a happy and safe upcoming Holidays..” 🎁🎉

@@BlakWiseCracker Yes, I clean mine out before running and change the filters and bristles every few months. I was able to get replacements on Amazon. Thanks for the well wishes and I hope you enjoy your holidays too! 🎉
