Def do the bulk buy deal. The sooner you get your pay, the sooner you can flip that into more money. Also the price/demand can still get worse instead of better.

23:13 - I did something like this years ago when buying lots from a surplus liquidator. Found the company was operating under two names. I was buying from name 1, but I found their website under name 2. Digging deep on that site I found their inventory list, giving me a huge edge against other bidders since I knew exactly what quantities they had. Good times. Always do your homework.

Besides the money, one thing that always weighed in favor of NOT taking a bulk offer was strictly thinking about metrics. If you're shipping packages out regularly, it is not much extra work to ship out 1000 orders over time vs 1 bulk. If you have quantity of an item that customers are reliably satisfied with, that's great juju for your ebay store over a long time frame.

Take the bulk buy deal all day! I had a similar situation. I bought a whole pallet of an item. About 650 units @$2.25 a piece. I was the only seller on Amazon….until some big time high rating liquidators come on board. As you know it’s hard to compete with them as they usually get the buy box… the price also dropped. What I thought was going to take me 2-3 months to sell took 6 and my projected profit was supposed to be $8,700.. ended up being $4880. 40.54% margin and 347.63% ROI which I ain’t mad at. 😂 Great video and it sounds like it all worked out in the end! ❤

Breaking down pallets to load the truck is extra work. Most forklifts are easily capable pushing 2-3 pallets into a truck. You put the first in as far as you can, then use the second (and third) to push them forward. If you have a forklift at the receiving end, a simple pallet puller or strap can pull them back within reach of the forks to unload.

This is why I like my local pallet place. It is an in person sale and you get to see the pallet before you pull the tag and own it. Now at lot of the time you don't have anytime to inspect it before someone else grabs it. Also it is a set price, but you don't know the price till you are looking at it. Now this place is not really for niche online sellers. You will get a variety of things. Now for the wholesale opportunity I would take it. I also don't have that much patience to sit on things for years.

This is so common when buying these pallets. You have to be on top of your game and even if thats the case you can still take L's. Its rough

Fantastic video, and great storytelling. You did what a lot of newbies don't do when it comes to pallet flipping is sticking to a niche you know very well. Case in point was the seller themselves, they had no product knowledge on what they were selling, and like most average resellers they sent you all their boxes thinking it was junk. You can't loose if you know what you have, and what the market will pay for it. It's as simple as that. Kudos for sticking to your guns on the swindle too, and persistence with following up with seller's support and finding their internal inventory report!!

I've always wondered about buying pallets, but I'm too concerned about being ripped-off. I focus on buying abandoned storage units, which are just as much of a gamble; at least you get to see a little more of what you're buying. Like you, I LOVE the smalls! Thanks for sharing!!

There's a great saying to answer your question. " A bird in the hand is better than 2 in the bush". Sell the lot. Money in hand to invest in other things is better than potentially more money within a volatile marketplace later on.

I'm conflicted on what I would do. Since you've already made your money back, the heat is off and everything else is just profit....minus the costs of the storage unit. But that's probably small potatoes compared to what it holds. I guess I'd also consider how long it's been since your last sale: are they still selling at your price steadily or is it a dead duck? Can you list on Mercari, posh, or Bonanza? I've had luck with those too even when others have items priced higher on ebay.

I would take the bulk deal b/c you have to consider the time/value ratio Of the money. How many times could that money be flipped and reinvested now to grow vs sitting and waiting to be recovered. A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. I thought the wave in your hair looked nice too.

I think you should sell that product, when you factor in the amount of time it could take to sell, the labor, cost involved, so many things. You never know what can happen next year or even in a few months. Plus you still have all the other product you can sell. It frees up space in your inventory and more capital. Not to mention a bulk amount that can go to your land.

Just a quick thought on the offer you received. What if the wholesalers was working with those other beauty shops on Ebay? Did you potentially share how many you have in storage? If they were working in conjunction with each other they could theoretically drop the price until you were to agree to selling all of that product to them for them to then prop the price back up. Not saying that this is the case but it's something that popped into my head as you were talking about it.

Ohhh I have been there. I used to buy truckloads. I will NEVER buy a walmart load or through a company in Florida. All 3 Walmart loads were trash. Not sure why they would put a $500 patio glass table on the bottom of a pallet with a swimming pool and other heavy items on top. Yes, the glass was broken in pieces. I am going back to reselling though. If I go back to large loads I learned to check the BBB and not the company reviews. I did lose over $35,000 back in 2019-2020. I have followed you for a while and enjoy watching and so sorry it happened to you too.

Yeah the Walmart/Target/Amazon loads keep creeping up in price and end up mostly junk. I get truckload emails for fun just to monitor the market. That kind of stuff only works if you have a retail store, and even then it's a struggle.

Great Video. When first started watching your videos I thought it was cosmetic Heather till saw video picking up the alien. Most my buying as been bin stores but about all have closed near. Pallets scare me shipping cost and being scammed.

Great information as always. Easily one of the most educational channels on re selling. Question regarding ebay vs amazon. I mainly sell on amazon. Do you have to worry about IPs on Ebay at all? After watching your channel I am thinking I need to use ebay a lot more.

Sorry I'm a little late to the party but I'd take the Buy Out. At this point that's pure profit you can move to the next thing. You know the product better than I would though so if you have some confidence this bottom is temporary it could be worth the wait.

Awesome video!! Thanks for always keeping it real. Well done. I think if I were in your position, I'd take the wholesale deal. You said it yourself; you're saving up for your forever home and this could really help boost that forward. Something else to consider is the bulk deal is an excellent opportunity to get a chunk of money at once to reinvest. Who knows what the market value is going to be in the future? So I say TAKE THE BULK DEAL!

Don't base business decisions on hope. Auctions are normally sold as seen so go by the pictures not the title or even better go and view the items before if its allowed. You have plenty of room in the lockup so there is no need to sell off your stock cheaply play the long game stick to your plan, they will provide nice regular income while you find new stock. What about a "free gift" on some of your listings to get rid of the scarfs if they are not selling.

I would have loved to view the items before purchase but with it being so far away I chose to rely on the title, photos, and description instead. In my case it turned out ok in the end but I guess I should caution beginners to stick with local auctions.
