Tracer is a mandatory 3 of. Been playing since they released and it's the only monster that makes any real plays outside of link climbing which just consumes rokkets you would rather use for the effects for the targets.
@@conoid21594 I would also do three absorouter it's a free special summon or if you dragon shrine/foolish it that's a free borreload Savage dragon by fetching rokket synchron with it's grave effect. A one card level 8 synchro is pretty nice
I pre-ordered my three Structure Decks last week; can't wait for them to be delivered so I can actually play Rokkets lmao -- been meaning to build these guys forever so now was a great opportunity! They can replace my P.K. deck, which I had the same feelings about until Konami, y'know, ripped those guys apart.
@@Mephiles343 For me personally not really. I guess it was put their in case you mill absorouter dragon and trigger its effect. But other than that, I can't think of anything useful outside of it being another level 4 tuner.

Been playing around with pandemic dragon, level 7 for rokket synchron, destroys monster on field with attack less than him, reduces attack points when destroyed by 1000. Pandemic Dragon Level 7 DARK Dragon-Type Effect Monster ATK 2500 DEF 1000 (1) Once per turn: You can pay any multiple of 100 LP; every other face-up monster loses ATK equal to the amount you paid. (2) Once per turn: You can target 1 monster on the field whose ATK is lower than or equal to this card’s ATK; destroy it. (3) If this card is destroyed by battle or card effect: Each face-up monster loses 1000 ATK.
@@Lightman0169 was playing a Metalfoes/ rokket deck, put one copy in, good for a pendulum summon, rapid trigger for furious dragon, easy to get to the grave and later use rokket synchron for savage. Was just for fun, non-competitive
I gotta ask. What do you use the guard dragon combo for most? Would it be better to put a crystal wing or a hot red dragon archfield abyss? (I think that's the level 9 that negates) I'm still unfamiliar with a bunch of the newer Decks but I've been trying to get back into it and I'm liking rokkets so far
Crystal wing Negates only monster effects and whether it negates or attacks it gains the attack of leveled monsters only. Meaning it won’t gain the attack of link monsters or xyz monsters it battles. Hot red dragon archfiend abyss however can negate any face up card till the end of the turn. It doesn’t destroy the card like Crystal wing, but if you were to get hit with a Evenly matched or Infinite impermanence for example, arch fiend can negate them. Now it’s all about personal preference, but most people prefer Archfiend over Crystal wing.

@@jemtaylor3738 there's no reason to buy legendary decks 2 over legendary Hero decks, the former is much more expensive and hard to find and has much less viable decks
Basically, the Dragon Decks and Hero decks are easier to find but the Hero decks are actually reasonable to find at MSRP. At some point it depends on preference, if you like dragons more get the dragon decks if you like warriors more get the Hero decks. Although 3 cards in one of the decks are banned now, so maybe the dragon decks would be better. Then again there is very cheap Destiny HERO and Nordic support that came out after the legendary hero decks. It's ultimately your choice I would recommend the Hero decks, but both of those are great. The legendary decks 2, however, are only good if you're very nostalgic about the original anime, if you want like a decent deck for local tournaments the Hero Decks are great.
Guys I need help deciding, should I run Rokket or Altergeist for competitive use? I’ve tried Altergeist on YGOpro and it went really well but now that Rokket decks can be budget idk if I should go with that instead.
Rokket would be better altergiest are not as good due to the multifaker hit and rokket are budget and fun lol I have played both and defo prefer rokket plus the borrel monsters have great artwork
I love Rokkets but honestly I'm not ready to jump oh thr bandwagon quite yet for them being meta, I think they might still be better than geists at this point though.
I have a question. You said in the video that silverokket dragon can be summoned from the deck via a rokket's end phase effect but that you have to rely on drawing rokket tracer. Does that mean that you can't special summon rokket tracer with the end phase effect of another rokket?
You can get away with playing 0 Squib Draws tbh. It's really okay, but not mandatory. Rokkets right now are mainly used to generate strong boards and you need to have all the resources on your field rather than drawing 2 random cards. You could try 1 copy if you still want to do it, but Allure of Darkness will save you all the trouble.
Try the Mana Dragon. If the opponent banishes or send to your Graveyard a Spell/Trap you control, you can Summon it from the hand or Graveyard and set a Spell/Trap that’s banished or in the Graveyard, but it will be banished when it leaves the field. You can use Mana to recycle Boot Sector Launch, Quick Launch, Squib Draw etc. and he also comes in the Structure Deck also.
