I'm from the South in the United States and we really don't have passenger trains here. We either fly or drive. On the other hand, flights are proportionally cheaper here than your train trip seemed to be and you can get anywhere in a few hours instead of days.
Do be careful saying it's a war though. The world knows its a war and not a special military operation, but don't say it on the channel. Don't want you getting into trouble with the government.
I traveled on the train from St Petersburg to Moscow in the 90's. A friend of mine and I had a sleeping cabin by ourselves. Everyone wanted to talk to the "American Guys" so our cabin was filled to the top with people. Everyone brought some type of food and it was a party. Really good times! Be well!
@@ItsTristan1st They all watch too much Western T.V. Including foreign media. There are more people here that support and know about the damage our government has caused. Including to us. We are dealing with an international monster and we are all victims. We don't have to act like them to our fellow man regardless of nation, race or creed.
@@gregbromberg5427 the guy was a creeper who tried to pretend he's important when he's just a regular soldier. she shouldn't talk to idiots like that guy, unless they can prove they're from FSB and have actual authority to ask such stupid questions.
When I was this age and a little older I used to go around campgrounds making friends with strangers. It never occurred to me that I might be bothering people until watching this video 50 years later.
When i was a kid i wished i was like you. I found climbing heights and staring into the “if ill fall ill die. Im not going to fall” abyss way more fun and less scary than talking to strangers, both kids and adults 😂 I still wish i was one of the people naturally blessed with gregariousness and no social phobia, life is way more eventful, lively that way! Also, i grew up in Russia where (maybe due to culture) most kids/teens/young adults are very outgoing, like the little kids in this video.
I wouldn’t mind if some kid was “bothering” me by trying to communicate with me btw. It’s nice that they trust adults to be kind to them, it’s the norm. Also, a lot of women genuinely enjoy company of kids.
No he is gonna turn into one of the creepy Russian men, they are very interfering and ill-mannered especially towards woman. Being a foreigner in Russia I know that, I am not biased, its a general observation. There are many men in Russia who are well behaved but I wouldnt say that there's a lot.
07:34 "I'm changing my clothes" ... "Then call me when you're done, ok?". Ivan's so cute! If he sees this a few years from now it could cause a few blushes! 😂
The kid acted like he's there for the dog when in reality he's secretly there for the girl. "oh the drink went down the wrong way? here let me pat your back for you, you're the best".
@@juvofirme Yeah, sure, I wonder what VDV boi would do to her if he found her hiding under her mattress in a ruined home in a village in Ukraine, and how many more he would 'advise' in his little walkabout in Ukraine.
I always thought it was hard to handle children for the longest time. But I've learned to just be 100% completely honest. Just say you want to be alone, do something else, or whatever. They actually do understand (usually even better than adults lol). Kids aren't stupid and they will know when you're playing them or not being honest. And that's the moment they start to be annoying usually. Just start talking with kids like they're normal human beings. They're interests are just simpler and they're overly enthousiastic, is all. I find a lot of joy with kids nowadays.
I like that the soldier gave you a heads up. A lot of people are forgetting we are in the middle of a cold war, cross border/Cultural communicators are a target for both sides. Also i love how friendly everyone is! i honestly did not expect so many people willing to drop by and pat the doggo.
That boy reminds me of my childhood where in my grandparents home they had dogs and i would love to play with them and whenever i went to any relative that had dog i would play with them i like dogs. He just likes dog, we should be more considerate towards children because time flies by .😃
You very skillfully made the most out of what was the worst of trips you could have had. And you did so without hurting any little people's feelings along the way. :) You're a real sweetheart, and will make a great mom someday.
Keep your head up Nesty. You are a shining, bright light in this dark world we live in. We need you. Thank you to you and Норды for sharing your journey and life with us. My dog and I always enjoy watching and wish only good things for you to come. Stay safe. You're always welcome to come visit Canada).
Enjoy watching your videos because you are honest and handle even stressful situations with humor. Your facial expressions are hilarious, and your comedic delivery is first-rate. Thank you for sharing some of your adventures to give insight on life in Russia. Take care.
Your doggie handled that very well. You must have been more chill then you thought or his attitude would have been reflective. He is definitely your dog both cute sweet and loving to the core ♥️
I have heard in other channels that I like from Russia that things are changing regarding how much open conversation is more challenging but to see it in real time like the man who spoke to you is ... I don't even know how to describe it. Wow. I don't think people outside of Russia understand - and really it seems hard to imagine it going on in the modern world. Thank you for sharing. Stay safe. Спасибо.
@@user-xg6yc8ho3w um, nope. The guy is saying to her she is likely to get arrested for talking about the war. Whatever you are talking about it a fantasy.
@@Американскийкочевник the american and australian right seem to think that social repercussions of free speech, which are inherent to the right to free speech itself are comparable to living in some sort of police state. they think things like being fired for expressing unsavory ideas are somehow comparable and see themselves as special, while everyone who disagrees must be subverted sheep. they wholeheartedly believe they have a right to discrimination and hate, which is being impeded because sane people express their own free speech in response. sad state of ego, mental illness and propagandization. these are the same people who dream of casting us in the actual chains of religious piety, not seeing that the boot will crush their throats just the same.
Its not fantasy mate. And hes not saying that. Even it was real what he is sayibg to her happens in every country. Or you think ig you investigate the US militsry trying to uncover something deeply they do not try to scare you.
He said she is likwly to get arrested if she gets into military cinfidential stuff is what he meant. If you thunk that just happens in Russia your just lol
Kids will be kids. Curiousity got the best of them. But I'm just perplexed as you on why his parents were not looking for him. Nord and you are very patient. A great virtue to have yet can be a downside when dealing with people who have little to no manners. I have encountered some disagreeable people, people who impose their opinions onto others, and listened to unsolicited advice. I found that I avoid escalating these situations by just telling them I don't know enough about the subject and just agree that they could be correct. Then thank them and try to tell them I have to excuse myself. Still you were in your own cabin, and that guy just imposed like it was perfectly fine to do what he did. Definitely strange and scary. I'm glad you arrived safe! Also happy with the transparency of what you had captured during your travels. Again like always good to see your vlogs, stay safe out there Agent Nesty!
Agent Nesty, You should think about screen writing! Your videos are simply amazing - humorous, sarcastic, touching, reflecting the reality of a war society and the craziness it instills in ordinary citizens. Here's hope for many more (lonelier) trips.
This reminded me of my first ever train journey here in russia last summer and it was a disaster as well because of one person but the other russians were so good hahah ..to everyone from west or anywhere else than russia ..let me tell you russians are really great people (i'm saying as an international student here who has been living here since last 6yrs).you just need to know lil bit russian and you are great..i love russians and they are full of love ...so dont believe what the internet shows you..💗🍃🌻
Don’t believe what history, statistics, a free press and the evidence of your own eyes watching the internet tell you. Instead believe some random idiot.
Your experience with the soldier on the train mirrors exactly how it was for my great-grandparents when they were fleeing the country 100 years ago, your concerns are very much the same as theirs were: family and peace.
Your dog is so well behaved and so gorgeous! Your compartment was so popular😂. On a more serious note… the encounter with the military guy was just so creepy. It’s insane how he began with a seemingly normal conversation and ended it with a subtle threat (warning). I’m glad you left the footage but at the same time, just be careful.
No different whatsoever than ANY 'friendly/kindly advise' from some mafia hitman or cartel siccario. You can be sure that before they go 'professional' on you for any reason, they'll take some time to 'stop and smell the roses' first, or even after, just to make a lasting memory of the event.
This military guy was NOT official, he just wanted to make himself important, and probably asked questions because you're a pretty girl. DONT talk to such people. They are usually crazy, even stalkers. You only answer such questions after an official FSB/GRU officer shows his papers to you. As for the annoying kids. Just tell them you are TIRED and want to rest next time. You are much too nice, so people are all treating you like you owe them something...
Dude just meant nice if you actually listened to what he said and seemed to care about her even if a bit weird. But anyone joining the war is weird. He himself seems to know in what a oppressive state he lives in
@@Kerorhavbc777 wtf dude he was literally just warning her of the stuff that happens to people by fsb who dont report pro russian and then told her they tried to find a criticsl reporter who disappeared for not being pro russian in her reporting and messaged her online and nothing turned up and said he hopes she is careful. You dont even speak russian. Dude is definitely critical of the war. Learn some obvious nuances
Agent Nesty, thank you and God Bless. Your videos are a phenomenon. They hold my attention and blesses me with a morning peace of mind. Take care and keep safe.
Your sense of humor and editing skills are amazing... totally entertaining ... so nice to see how friendly people are and also interesting to see that guy warning you... crazy world we all live in. keep up the great work, your definitely very talented...
Once more a masterful video. I was starting to worry, since it has been a while since your St Petersburg vlog. Your a a kind ,patient, intelligent lady. ( Also beautiful) You are so good with children. Please keep being the sweet open minded person we have come to know and love.
Hi, thank you for not cutting out the creepy soldier who was talking rubbish! As well as the scene outside on the platform with the loud music. It is part of Russian life now, and heck next time, just lock your door and keep all those people out..lol.. by the way, us that want to know about the war we know where to go for that information and we come to you see daily life and have a giggle at your funny ways.
Your dog is really the coolest. The people on the train seemed really nice, but that guy with his "well-meant" intimidations really got me goosebumps. You managed the situation very well, though. Thanks for sharing the ride with us! :)
Enjoying your blogs , and impressed with your efforts , but don't overthink the problems you think you have in Russia ,enjoy your life and remember the grass is not always greener in the west
There are so many in your country just like you, crying on the inside and laughing on the out. The difference is that you face it all with beauty, determination, and intelligence. I'm not an important person, but in my eyes you are the best, and I love you for that. I can imagine you on TV telling stories and conducting interviews. You could be a star. оставайся сильным милое личико 🤩
@@chocolate_squiggle It's really a pity that we have reached a point where you can't compliment someone for their qualities without some idiot making it sound sleezy. Did you even see the fear in her eyes? Probably not. I doubt your eyes went up that far.
Nord has the same character as one of the puppies from my sheperd mix lady. You have the best you can have to save you and be lovely to everybody wo comes with good vibes. The dad of my puppies is a samojed. There are so fluffy 😍 My lady wake up, in the Moment he is call to the world. I wish you and your dog a lot of years to travel to every journey you will find 😊 Regards from Switzerland
I'm a complete introvert. It would have been hard to put up with that kid for as long as you did. And to have strangers knock on your train compartment. I would have just kept my suitcase against the door at all times and just came out for food and toilet. hahaha! Glad you were safe, though. That guy... nah. got strange vibes. Yeah, he's trying to sound concerned, but nah. No. I'm a guy. I can sniff out a toxic male easier. They all wanna sound like a white knight coming to your rescue. Beware of that.
LOL as a woman I get bad vibes from such men easily.... maybe it's just we are more attuned to it rather than its bc of our gender. Lots of women catch the bad vibes right away. Lots don't... I wish some women wouldn't be so naive bc we cannot afford to be. Too many predatory males. I knew this guy was bad news. Partly perhaps bc I have heard about such "friendly conversations "... it's a familiar pattern. For those who follow russia and what the putin regime is like. Agents everywhere.
I've never been on a train. It is my dream to ride the Trans-Siberian someday. Riding on a train seems to be a good place to meet new people and make friends, especially if you bring along a conversation starter like Nord. He is a sweet dog, so patient and well behaved.
Made the Trans-Siberian railway 11 years ago. Went with a friend, and though we couldn't speak barely an y russian it was a great experience. After getting of the train in Irkutsk after 3.5 days on the train it felt good to be on the ground again.
Thank you for being so open about the problems surrounding the war. It's a real tragedy and I believe we need more competent leadership, not just in Russia. I always enjoy your videos. What a train ride it was 😆
That will teach you to be a good-looking girl with a good looking dog! ❤ you won the popularity contest on the train. Now you have to put up with everybody’s children! 😂❤ love you mean it!
Looks like she was deliberately ambiguous to get extra views. Shame really because that can be taken as smearing Russia, and ignoring the kill lists that US installed Ukrainian Fascists have ie terrorists who murder innocent civilians eg Daria Dugina.
Nah, that guy was nice. I've met some s k e c t c h y vets while we were receiving treatment. Here some stuff about two of them. One couldn't talk or see people around him. He just stumbled around. Shaking constantly. When he sat down, he stared at the floor, an his right hand flaunted above his head, locked in a position like he was pulling the trigger. Burst after burst after burst. Like he never left that trench. The other one could and would communicate. He was a smooth talker, very charming. But his eyes had like no eyelids. A counter sniper. He, of course, didn't talk about his experience in details, but stuff he sometimes casually mentioned about was like a whole cargo ship of NOPE. And he was an actual predator. Gladly, I wasn't his type.
You are one beautiful young lady and brave. Please take care of yourself and do not any unnecessary risk. Enjoy your videos on your homeland and people.

That little kid was adorable and so polite ,ok a bit a glue but its acceptable,As for the guy who looked like a soldier ,he seemed to be really concerned for your safety but this could be also a tricky behavior.
I think he was genuinely concerned for your safety, rather than trying to threaten you. It's not as if you were filming about the war or trying to get in trouble. But him taking pictures was pretty intimidating. If he was acting on behalf of the government he would probably have asked to see your footage and ask a lot more questions. But he tried to make small-talk and give you a small warning because he didn't want something bad to happen to you.
Ukrainian websites like myrovets (dont visit this website you will see corpses on the front page) are very dangerous for anyone associated at all with russia. Even frontline soldiers don't show their face for fear that something could happen to their families
@@kbtred51 Doesn't mean his personal concern isn't genuine. If he didn't care he wouldn't have warned her. A guy who wants her to end up in trouble would just let her and then arrest her.
nah he was definitely a Putin shill. but when they figured out she was just a girl blogging and not a professional journalist, they gave her a warning in the nicest way they could.
You are so beautiful. Your videos are great and I enjoy watching them. Russia is a beautiful country and for the most part the people look very polite and wholesome. You are very fortunate.
Lovely video. Nesty, you're smart, entertaining, caring (about the children, and your dog, for example) and gorgeous! I wish you all the very best with your travels, adventures and blogging, and after seeing the conversation with that soldier, I hope you and the vast majority of peace-loving Russians who just want to live a good life and enjoy travelling and meeting other people will see better days soon.
as a fellow russian I wanna thank u for putting out the reality of our life, not trying to pretend that nothing is wrong. its important, cuz a lot of people in Russia doing the ostrich policy which is insane to me
