Well, thank you for this. I've been back and forth on this. I'm ready to buy and I've always liked Samsung vs. everything else. They just always feel more vibrant. They made a mistake with the matte finish this year imo. So I've been debating whether to buy a s95c or g4. You just made up my mind. Going with the G4. Seems Samsung has some kinks to work out in the oled department.
Feel 4 u man, my dramas with s95 were endless. Its completely unacceptable that we pay all that money and the qc is garbage. Im so glad i went g4 this year
Hey man, I've had the g4 for 5 days and I have to say it's great, the g4 65 came to me without bands and without pink tint, I was lucky, a few days but it already gives me emotions, the g4 is phenomenal, it will be a TV that I will have for a long time 😍
I had reached to you in previous videos. When I got the 65 s95c with drop outs when connecting to ps5 I just contacted them and mentioned doa “dead on arrival “ it’s a deadline 15 days and they exchanged it the next day never had problem since then, it’s clearly the one connect box some must be faulty
@@NexGenTek They are though.....Samsung tvs brick all the time I've had 2 just stop working myself not to mention the tons of others. Just get an LG or Sony and stick with a quality product.
Unfortunately this is a known issue. Some times you can unplug the TV for about 30sec and it comes back. A lot of people had to do returns because it never connected. As of right now the S95D seems to not have that issue but they never fixed the C model.
They didn’t replace it last time but the internals. The one connect box isn’t easily replaced because Samsung didn’t mass produce them, they mass produced the boards for them but the box itself from what I’ve told was only about 10% ratio of the TVs made. But I do have them coming back out for this issues next Friday.
@@AllAboutTKK that's crazy. I thought one of the main benefits of the one connect was all the components where in that box. So theoretically if something goes wrong, you should be able to just swap the box.
From the looks that’s all my ass gonna be doing too is streaming. But I’m on the phone with them as we speak they extended the MF warranty one month after they had work done so see if I can get them back out before my Geek Squad kick in. The tv is too new for me to want to junk it out, I’m trying my hardest with this thing but it’s going to shit.
@@AllAboutTKK i got you bro,my s95b had 2 issues already, all fixed and works like new,i really like this tv,i will change after 2-3 years like i always do lol😜
Good luck on getting a refund lol. Took awhile here but at least it was possible. They did everything to make it as complicated and frustrating as it could be though.
I hope Samsung takes care of you. You were one of the first people to have the S95C 77". The One Connect Box has been problematic for quite some time. I briefly had the QN95BD 55" and QN900D 65". Both TV's had issues with the One Connect Box. I'm on my second S95C 65", and my 3090 gaming PC drops in and out. Sometimes it's limited to audio dropouts, and other times everything will drop out. Now it's relegated to my bedroom for Apple TV 4K and PS5/XSX gaming. Best of luck to you!
From what I have been reading, a fiber optic HDMI cable seems to fix this issue for some users. This is the exact reason that I went with the 65 inch S90C during the Best Buy sale last weekend. That one connect box seems to be a real problem. I hope that you get this fixed, a TV that costs that much should not be having these issues!!!
The Fiber Optic or Active Fiber Optic HDMI 2.1 cable won't fix a faulty One Connect Box. I'm on my second S95C 65" and I've tried $300 worth of certified HDMI 2.1 cables of varying lengths. After a failed tech visit from Samsung, they other to switch out my defective S95C 65" with a new S95C. Everything besides my 3090 gaming PC works flawlessly. Sometimes the audio will dropout. Sometimes the video will drop out. Sometimes the signal completely drops out. I haven't experienced dropouts issues with my PS5, XSX, Apple TV 4K, and my Denon Receiver. When everything clicks with the S95C, it's a sight to behold. It sucks that the One Connect Box is so troublesome.
I switch the power off every time I connect an hdmi cable, even if the tv is an oled one and is not good for the pixel compensation cycle... no connect box, no black outs (samsung s90c) . Always gaming on it and view youtube videos. Best regards from Italy!
Unfortunately this is why I haven't pulled the trigger on the s90c Samsung just don't seem to be great at quality control and in the UK Samsung's only comes with 1 year warranty whereas sony gives a 5 year warranty.
I also had this check hdmi cable problem, even after trying 3 on every port too. I tried an old hdmi cable and it worked first go, then I remembered the other 3 were directional 🤦🏻♂️ I wouldn't of had this issue though if the TV didn't have the power board replaced on my Sammy S95c 🤷♂️ If this happens again, I'm switching to Sony or LG
@drunkhusband6257 Fiber optic hdmi 2.1 are usually directional, from source to display. They don't go the other way round, you'll just get a black screen.
My first S95C failed exactly the same way: all HDMI ports not accepting any video signals. The soundbar connection via HDMI also didn’t work. I had my S95C replaced, hope you get this resolved as well.
Got my S95D last week. VRR just does not work on it no matter what I try. Shame I have to send it back because the matt screen is way better than I expected.
@@bornforhiswill4689 You shouldn't have to, but I've always turned it on regardless of which Samsung TV I'm using. You want to make sure it's turned on for every console you have connected to your TV.
Its good that you send it back anyway as reports have already come through that the s95d and qn900d have blackouts. As time goes on it will become more common. Shitsung strikes again
This is why I don't buy samsung. I do understand the love for Samsung, but I've always found their quality control to be lacking compared to sony and lg. I do understand there being duds though. Im sure plenty of them last for years
They should be sending you a full refund or brand new tv of your choice at this point. That’s just not good business to sell people faulty crap like that. And if you mistakenly do, you gotta take care of em. I hope those knuckleheads know that you can afford Sony and LG if that’s what you want and you don’t have to settle for their bs. lol 💪🏻
Hay guys I have the S95C had same problem what I did on the remote press and hold the power button on the remote until u here it click what it does is a quick restart it worked for me
did you try to put your playstation 5 option hdmi to -1 instead of automatic. Plug in one of your 12 other tv (:P) and set the thing to -1 instead of auto. Also, try disabling all hdmi CEC link also.
Hi bro,i had same issue with my s95b,cable was in hdmi 4 but tv showed me its hdmi 3,samsung changed full hdmi board in my tv and problem solve(this board has processor in it so you will get software out of the box),go to settings, support, device care, self diagnosis, hdmi troubleshooting and do the test and see whats going on
Samsung quality is pathetic and service is even worse . My Samsung S95C is hanging on the wall like a blackboard and Samsung couldn’t rectify the issue nor they are ready to replace it give reimbursement. Sorry state of affairs with Samsung .
Whenever I update the GPU drivers Gsync turns on and I have it OFF on TV then nothing shows up on screen. I enable Gsync on TV just to see my PC to then disable Gsync on PC then TV
And this is why you stay away from Samsung products. Worse quality control in the business....hell there are budget brands that last longer than these POS tvs.
I will never get Samsung Oled I’m sticking with my LG’s Life is so good 😊 with my LG’s My C9 still running like a champ Had no issues with it ever since I bought it My CX/C1 &C2 is awesome I’m not interested into any more oleds for now!!!! But I hope 🤞 they are able to fix your Samsung …
I’m not to sure about the s95c I have the same tv as well the only issues with mines is it turns on in the morning time for no reason then some time voice assistant acts on it own I want the s95D but since alll these issues going on I might just stick with my LG OLED .
@@Necroslave84It's not worth it to try a different One Connect Cable. The cables are expensive. I've only been able to find them on eBay. I don't know if you can buy them directly from Samsung. At this point, it'll be up to Samsung or Geek Squad to take care of the faulty product.
Samsung still doesn't realize that the problem is their one connet box. Every model with one connect box have issues, and the ratio I've experienced is 3/10. Thats 30% 😢
