5:10 Little did she know the film would be a classic, breaking gender stereotypes and kickstarting a hallyu wave, launching her into pan-Asia stardom, and becoming her most memorable character that most people identify her as even after twenty years. It really hits different watching this now, it was just a simple film that no one expected to have such an impact. I still watch this film at least once a year to relive the memories. Thanks for this video.
And it turns out to be one of the most memorable korean movies of all time, if not The number one..thanks for sharing! The quality is surprisingly quite good considering it's from such a long ago
This movie change Korea all of Asia and all of the world forever, this brought us the Hallyu Wave, opened doors for future Super Star Korean Actors and Actresses and singers.
I cried when I saw this film the first time. Why? Because the ending was so damn perfect. If I could ever go back in time to watch a film the first time again, it would have to be this film. Bravo. Without a doubt a classic!
I have watched this movie at least 10 times and I still cry during the scene where she is shouting to him across the mountains that she is sorry, she cannot help it.
I believe this was the first Korean movie I have ever watched and still is my most favorite movie until now. This is where I first heard Pachelbel’s Canon and it has been my most favorite since. Also Jun Ji Hyun and Cha Tae Hyun will forever be memorable for me. Watched this first in 2004 for and it never gets old. Watched it earlier and the last scene still brought tears to my eyes. Wonderful wonderful movie ♥️♥️♥️
This was the first Korean movie I ever saw in 2009. Found it in a CD book of DVD's in a pawn shop in the middle of South Dakota. This movie is what started my love for Kdramas.
CHA TAE HYUN ❤️ He really brings out the best in all the actresses he is working with. I heard that Jun Ji Hyun and Park Bo Young made their first movie with him, and became famous after. 😍
Master piece.. A girl ragging his boyfriend.. We never seen such scenes in any movie.. I watched this movie more than ten times.. Still I feel freshness.. Jhun ji hyun one of my favorite actress.. Iam a fan of korean movies.. Hats off to the director
Little did they know that this movie has then become so legendary all around Asia ♥ Thanks for the sub. Love your channel and all the effort you put in for these videos ♥
I am a late comer to Kdrama and started watching due to the covid pandemic staying home. I have become an ardent fan of Jun Ji Hyun after watching My Love from the Star & Legend of the Blue Sea. I watched My Sassy Girl recently and enjoyed it so much, laughing so hard. Even at this early age, she is impressive and can predict her potential of becoming a super star. 🥰 Bravo for Jun Ji Hyun❤! Please do another movie or drama soon! ❤🤩👍
My first korean movie and my fav korean movie. They are my fav actors. This is memorable. Knowing the movie was made in 2000s, I can feel the vibes in that era from the setting of place
I just watch this with couple of 20 years old friends years and btw im 35 now. They love this movie so much like I do when I first watched the movie. I’ve watched this at least 6 times in my 20years gap, my real feeling? You can’t really go by back in your youth but this movie has a magic can travel back time with you, laughter and tears all mixed in those moments, this is truly my time machine. Building a bridge of chance for love in 2021.

The mark of a true craftsman - wants to do this one more time and sad when it ends. The whole world fell in love with Gwen-yooah for years since this movie!

I saw my sassy girl when it came out in 2001 because of the hype in Asia. my first Korean movie. I bought the VCD and found it recently, VCD quality is unwatchable now so I just bought the blu ray on eBay 😆

Could be the 7,425th times I watch this movie. Although it has been maybe 8 or 9 years since the last time I did. But it grew up in me like a fine wine. And this time, it hit the hardest (I don't know why, maybe I'm transitioning to my gurang na, romantic na era). I think I now have figured out what makes this movie poke my heart and tear glands so effectively: the music and score. There's something in those orchestral strings-layered piano notes that just simply works. Although I don't want to dismiss the fact that the story was told in the absolute most perfect way it could have been. I'm delighted, still even after all these years. I wouldn't deny myself another chance to sit down and watch it a thousand more times. Again. And again. My Sassy Girl (2001), my dear guilty pleasure movie, is simply the freaking best. 10/10 🚄👠👟📽🍹🎹🌹🌳⌚💊
