Gun only started catching feelings during their staring match, the heartbeat was also his at that time. I think gun didn’t like tinn like that until the trip and there is always a saying where if you look into someone’s eyes more than 8 seconds your bound to fall in love. I think they were becoming good friends already but when gun looked into tinn’s eyes he felt something and he’s now realizing what he felt present time.
