MCCORMICK GUITAR LESSONS I was just listening to audio from me playing a month ago and comparing them to now and the difference is absolutely insane...you should be selling your services for good money 👍🏻
G,G,C add9,D. G,G,C add 9, Em,D,C G,Em,D,C,G EM,G,EM,G,EM,D,G S.P. )DDU, UDU, DDU THIS SONG IS PRETTY EASY WITHOUT USING D SUS 4AND EM7. This was the first complete song i could play to its entirety and it only took 2 weeks. To get it down. (I still have like a 16th note pause when doing from D to C but im still practicing daily to get that Down.) Im trying to find other songs similar to this maybe wonderwall but that is far too easy. Maybe a song with 1 or two more chord changes. Any recommendations?
It's really a secret treasure hidden in the RU-vid. I never got this when i was searching for easy beginnerrs songs months back. Now RU-vid is recommending after i learned all other advanced chords and techniques
haha well I'm happy I could help! I teach for a living and found this song to be the best for my beginner students due to the finger placement! Thanks for the love! :)
Basically, every tab I found of this song looked real weird. Thanks man, you helped me a lot to figure it out. I love how it sounds and you explained it fuckin perfect. Keep rockin!
Hey, I have watched many video's......yours is really well broken down well and makes sense. You don't lose sight of its a beginner trying to do this , we don't really understand some of the jargon and would rather see slowly where all the fingers go. You are the first person who has said don't play this string etc... 1 subscription coming up, merry xmas!
Thank you Andy! A great song very clearly explained. You absolutely nail the strumming patterns and the impact that the two different patterns have in terms of dynamics 🙏.
I'm extremely excited to play this. Very fun but simple way to play the song. I'm starting on electric cause a family member let me borrow theirs. Definitely subscribed to you :)
I learned wonderwall befor learning this and it made it so much easier! Going to master this way then try learn the picking, this video was awesome keep up the good work!
Great Video! Im a complete beginner, so just trying to make sure, my only question is that when doing the up-down pattern, do you only play the strings needed for the chord or do you strum all the strings? Thank you!
Yep, you should be aiming to play only the strings that are needed for the chord. For the G and Em, strum all of the strings and for the D, just the bottom 4. In the case of Cadd9, your middle finger should be lightly touching the low E string, muting it, then it'll be fine to strum all the strings without worry.
Having trouble with the strumming. When I get done with the last up and go back to down down up up down up doesn't sound like how you are showing. But is it down down up up down up down down up up down up down down up up down up and so on?
Haha that's funny. I'm assuming you're joking as Wonderwall is definitely a step up from this song (but they share many of the same chords.) If you are being serious, no worries. Get my ebook for beginners and start there first. Thanks for the comment! amzn.com/B01BCOGXJY
Acoustic Mario He’s made this an easy song for beginners. Everyone has their own way of playing. He’s just making it easier for a person who has no experience to be able to play a song.
@@Quark1217 i know what th objective is. But he honestly making it even harder. Going from the Em or the D to the C add9 is harder to do than going to the normal C. I honestly think he should just show the C chord or just choose a different song like knocking on heavens door or something.
Irritating when people say this is an easy song yet not a single one of you can successfully explain the strumming. Follow the same exact pattern, play the exact chords, sounds nothing like it. Everyone can explain a picking song not a strumming. Fuckin irritating.
