Dear mam, today is 27th June,2022. I have brought a chrysanthemum plant from nursery a week before. This plant is having very small buddings. Many of them have dried up. Can I wait for the green buds to flower or I should prun them. 2. Can I use this plant as mother plant and take cutting from it? Thanks in anticipation.

This was not the right time to purchase chrysanthemum plant. Just prune the buds and dry leaves for now. You can take cuttings from it depending on the size of this plant. Cuttings should be grown in the month of September

Yes... It'll grow better on the ground. Rain water can not stay on the ground for longer period of time so don't worry about over watering. But just make a temporary boundary around the cutting to protect it from falling down.

Hi dear . So informative video .. I have already planted so many cuttings of mums .. n they r growing beautifully. What I see in my last years plant is there r buds on the tips .. is it possible for them to bloom now ? How do I take the cuttings from the mother plant now. ? I stay in USA ..Sourh Florida .

Chrysanthemums bloom in the winter season under direct sunlight... still you can take a few cuttings to grow new plants...

Thodi height pe jaan ke baad chrysanthemum k plants bend hone lgte hain due to their thin stems. Bone meal couldn't help it stand on its own. What we do is to make a frame for the plant by using some sticks and thin rope around it or we can prune the longer stems to make it bushy and have a balanced growth. As you know it is not the flowering time of chrysanthemum, I'll suggest you to prune it so that you can get more flowers on a bushy plant.
