Having a dedicated entryway system is a total game changer! We're lucky to have a built in cubby nook with hooks for coats and space for school bags. I also keep a small bookshelf in the entry hall. It has a bowl for my keys, wallet, and phone. It also is where I put anything that needs to exit the house. Library books, sports gear, swim bags, donations, gifts etc. I love knowing I can just grab and go!
One suggestion...could you invest in another shelf so you don't have to have it out for a chunk of the year? And move the seedlings shelf to the basement when not in use.

Erica, I need a launch pad for my hubby like you have for yours! He often forgets his phone and wallet when he goes out. In the last month he forgot his wallet twice after making a 1/2 hr drive for groceries & meds so one of us had to make a 2nd trip down. He is often late because he can’t remember which jacket or pants he left his car keys or wallet in. Thanks for the inspiration!

I will have that down as a must from here on if at all possible - a big enough nook room to have a launch pad behind a door. Your launch space is organised - it's just not all pinterest uniform and suchlike - and I think that's a blessing I would like to give myself - a space I can organise like yours which is valuable and usable - but where the door can be closed so I don't have to think of it beyond that!
Love the launch pad closet!🙌🏻 One more suggestion: buy some blank canvas totes at Hobby Lobby or Michael’s and use permanent markers to write on it directly what its sole purpose is. For example, “LIBRARY BOOKS”, “FOOD TRUCK FRIDAY”, “AMAZON RETURNS “,etc. You and everyone else will know exactly where to put those things and when ready,just grab and go! (I love a good free tote bag but some hard workers just need their own monogram!) 🤣😅😂
