This movie left me breathless. The miracle is that she survived. She had a support system in place, but she still spoke of love for her husband.He was demonicly sick, and she was sick as a victim. In ALL cases, your first Love is of SELF.
Filter what you hear from friends it can be a force for change...... Domestic violence is terrible and anyone in it be it a woman or a man should quit, because your life will or might be taken from you 🙏

If you are being beaten, it means that person HATES YOU. Secretly, silent begin to plan to leave that man ASAP to somewhere he can NEVER FIND you. Save as much MONEY as you can where he CANNOT see or find it, get some where to stay, NO MATTER how small if you can. Leave when he is not around. If he ever finds you, even 50 years later, it is for REVENGE, no matter what he is saying to you.
Im so angry 😡 and yess I know this is only a movie but this is reality and these things happens to a lot of women out there who can't seek for help because of different reasons while having a chance,,,,,, Back to the movie..... Really she had an opportunity to better her life and throw it all away just because she felt sorry for her abusive husband, she confused Pitty with Love and got used to that kind of lifestyle,, it's very difficult to get out of an abusive relationship/marriage,no one will understand it,,, to bad she could not help herself although she had all the help she could get around her..💔 Well it was good to see Benjamin back on screen well done crew 😊

Abuse is very bad nobody should not go through all that but at times parents are also to blame for this.they will tell these ladies he or she will change.another thing is parents wanting to get wealth from their children.your dota is getting married you want a house.business etc that u failed to get in your life.u want the man taking your dota to give you that.they end up calling your dota property they bought or own.
I don't like that character Amaka at all. She knows nothing and doesn't listen to voice of reason. She enjoys suffering and always gets herself into trouble. I couldn't see any thing she did right inthis movie. Any woman who actually behaves like her, takes all these in real life needs to get her head checked. No woman or man should ever take such. Anyways, in real life, the person won't live to tell the story. And the friend should have gone ahead to speak to her sister. Cheating is the worst she did. Why didn't she just live the marriage?

I stopped believing that only men being abusive.its a bad situation that nobody should go through.ido recall a good friend and his last words he said who said they can listen to a man when u get beat I was happy with you guys I never wanted to go back home.he had internal injuries he never made it.its that day I realized abuse is all gender that subjects one another.
I t was great seeing the four primary actors among an exceptional cast in this well performed movie minus the part 1:00_1:03 the volume went out which was an important piece of dialogue. I hope victims of domestic violence take heed.
