@@jordanbeaman6911The interesting thing is, ever since idk maybe 2018ish Ben’s been acting more like “himself.” I remember back in 2016 he was trying very hard to fit into Korean society, down to the way he dressed and styled his hair and talked. Now he’s acting like his American self. At least that’s how I see it. Reminded me a lot of myself back when I moved back to Asia.
This studio tour confirmed what he's told us in the past of being a basic guy and doesn't spend much money.... folding table, $40 office chairs, no-name equipment. And still puts out quality videos.....RESPECT!
Ben, this was so dope! Idk about anyone else, but I’ve definitely been wondering what it looks like in there! You don’t need an elaborate setup. You just need to make it work for you! 💪🏾
imagine basically all he does is just eat some good food while talking to a camera. and he's this invested in like lighting and camera angles. what a dude.
Respect the brief emphasis on the possible dangers of mukbangs/eating videos, sometimes people forget that terrible accidents like choking can happen out of nowhere, and im really glad to hear you're taking precautions for the future. Thank you Ben
I remember when you first showed this studio with the counter in the back. Can’t believe it’s been 3 years, I thought you were in a completely new studio now a days.
If you took your videos on the road and did "vlogs" eating around Seoul, that would completely transform your channel into something amazing I'm sure many of us would love. Not saying it already isn't a great channel, it would just be cool to see you mix it up a little. Just a thought :D
👍🤩💝I’m happy for your success. You’ve come a long way. I’m one of your day ones so I remember the small studio apartment, the adoption video and when your parents came to visit as well as the incident. Wishing you the best. 🙏💝
I literally never even thought of keeping a fire blanket in the kitchen. I've always kept extinguishers around...but the. blanket makes a ton of sense. Great tip - I just ordered one!
I think you've probably figured this one out already, but man, don't EVER drink water if you choke again (hopefully never) . Don't know how that choke thing works but water seals you throat and makes it worse.
honestly I was surprised when I saw this video title because I literally thought back to what happened 😟but glad he didn't show everything in his studio!!
I work with 4k footage on Vegas and i get your pain. i got all the tips and tricks for smooth editing on vegas tho. U gotta disable all the legacy decoding, enable the graphics card as the hardware decoder (since you on a laptop), and if u want the smoothest experience editing on vegas u gotta convert the video to a prores codec with shutter encoder. If u want more info hit me up.
So the magician reveals his secrets eh? No but seriously, a great video as always! Really cool getting to see the behind the scenes! Ben always keeping it real and making use of everything, I love it
Ben, never commented on a video of yours before and I frankly don't watch many videos of people eating but I've been watching your videos every time they pop up for years now. Found this video super interesting and watched the whole thing. I think I just like you as a fella and wanted to thank you for stepping out of the box!
Man, not sure what I was expecting. I kinda felt like you were a chill minimalist type of person so I wasn't surprised when I saw your studio layout and kitchen, but man....I thought your fridge was going to be STOCKED and LOADED since you do food videos on RU-vid 🤣 Either way awesome video man! I love these more intimate-style videos that show us the behind the scenes, and I understand you have reasons for not showing certain things. Keep up the great content! 👍
I would have thought that for editing purposes it would be important to have a decent monitor no? Thanks for the tour it answered questions I had over thr years of watching your channel. Keep it up!
@@zelrius8714 Panasonic Lumix GH5 (primary camera), and Lumix G90 (secondary camera). The audio noise thing he was talking about was a setting within RU-vid prior to publishing the videos.
bendeen slice of life video it's been a while... i think the last time i saw something like this was pre 2017 good to see some old school type bendeen content
@Bendeen there is a great South African restaurant in Itaewon called Braai Republic go check it out food supposed to be amazing - let us know if you do
As someone in the market for lighting this was a great video. Curious as to why you dont use a lantern box or something like that instead of the umbrella method
