Early stage of my Shave Den with new shelves/cabinets. I hope to have it situated and complete by the New Year. Contact me and check out my social media content via Linktree linktr.ee/tobi... #wetshaving #shaveden #collection
Blown away by your collection mate - absolutely incredible. The Simpson T2 Commodore is the favourite in my (much smaller!) line up of brushes as well!
Wow, that's a huge collection of shave stuff! It reminds me of my whole house with all the tools and supplies for all the different things I do. I barely have 1/16th of shave stuff that you have and I don't know if I've ever seen a soap collection as large as you have. Mind blown! Lol! It's probably good that you didn't get into straights! The cabinets are really cool and a good way to have things organized.
Hot damn!!! Yeah... Well that makes me feel realllly good about what I thought was "my problem" 😂 I'm on 50 sets or so, less than 10 brushes and less than 10 razors at the moment. I'm a newbie still apparently haha Impressive collection man 👌 Slightly jealous of that cologne/solid cologne drawer not gonna lie!
In the 'Marlboro case' you showed some TTO's. They are held ( seperately but together by 5 of them ) by a beige thing ( I guess a razor holder ). Do you remember where you got them from, because I truly like these !
I don't know how you keep track of all that stuff. My shave den consists of 2 small drawers in my bathroom. I have enough soap to last 2 years and enough blades to last 3 years. I sure hope you live to 200 so you can use up all that stuff. You should start a shaving museum.
Right? That's why I've been giving stuff away in the "I buy you Fly" giveaway. The more the channel grows the more artisans that send me stuff. Although, I hope to only make to 85ish so I better start shaving twice a day
No idea, been collecting around 10 Yeats. A lot of hardware has been purchased from antique shops and garage sales, eBay, etc. Made a lot off of restoring that stuff. Once you figure in what I profit from restorations. Not very much.
Seperate reaction: WOW, first time I see your shaving gear. PAA is your biggest friend ?( due to the amount of things you have from him ( offcourse you love other stuff also )) What started it all and where will it ever end I wonder. You have more then you could ever use once for the remaining years OMG. Is a family member goint to inherit it all when you're gone ( sorry for the 'rude' / Personal questions, I am just wondering ) I you don't like it please say and I won't ask again. I have seen more of these amazing collections and I am fascinated by all their glory.
Oh man, my collection is peanuts compared to a lot of guys. Not sure how much you've looked at the Phoenix fan group or some of the other fan groups on Facebook but their collections are two or three times larger than mine. And yeah absolutely our nineteen-year-old is a wet shaver and I've already discussed with my wife ways to sell things on eBay and also a couple of friends within the community to contact to get rid of my gear.
@@Tobins_throwbacksCould you please help me with a link to the Phoenix fan group ( sorry but I can't seem to find them due to some misfortune on my side )
That's impressive, but one thing bugs me. Almost every RU-vid wet shaver states that this is cheaper method of shaving. Sure, if you have one razor. This could shave an entire army for a month. If you get inspired to try out at least five or six of the most popular razors, at least fifteen most talked about soaps, twenty-eight brushes (bore, badger and synthetic) and maybe 52 after shaves, the cost goes sky high. But, hey, the blades are cheap. Until you want to buy all 45 brands of them... Sorry, my bad, but that's just how it feels. Great video! 😁
You're very right, don't mention the environmental side, that wet shaving is good for the environment😂😂😂. And I'm not an exception to the rule 60+razors, more than 100 soaps, 60+ brushes, etc etc etc.
Yeah, you'll never hear me say it's cheaper. It's more fun! My sons will inherit most of my stuff and I've already discussed with my wife how to sell it in "lots" on ebay and elsewhere. Including contacting a few friends in the community should I have an untimely death
I used to have Cella. I gave it away to a new convert. I hated the scent of it. To my nose, it was like cooking oil that had been used far too many times o fry potatoes.
@@Tobins_throwbacks A 100-blade pack of Minora Platinums sell for anything from R140 ($7.37) to R210 ($11) depending on the retailer. If I can get in touch with you, I can arrange to send you a pack a bit later in the year along with some of the very nice locally made soaps from places like Bundubeard, River Valley Trading, Wriggly Tin, Gilly's and MSC (though I understand MSC is already available in the states).
@Waldemarvonanhalt that'd be awesome there's a link in the description for my link tree feel free to contact me whatever way is easiest for you thank you very much and yes sir I have a few sets of Master soap creations
