I don’t think it’s necessarily cheating either. The sims is very open game, it’s all about playing it in different ways so I don’t think it’s really cheating, I don’t think you can cheat on the sims.
@clairexsxd they are called cheats but I don’t think it’s cheating. The definition of cheating is: “act dishonestly or unfairly in order to gain an advantage”. Which you can’t really do in the sims.
tried the carnaval scenario, spent irl hours making a beautiful friendship group of occult sims, built them a house, and an amazing backyard for them to have everything they needed for an amazing party, one of the sims listened to the carnaval tunes and autonomously danced, then the scenario ended. i was SO mad! spent all that time bc i wanted them to have a proper part where they could dance, and eat, and party and do all the outcomes, but only one was needed? it was still fun tho and you can make a party and do the same thing was just so surprised when it ended so suddenly lmao
let me gave u some help for your Sims: make some drinks, Cook, dance, fight with someone in a party with a good amount of Sims, flirt with any of them, If a fire start let someone die from It so u can have a really Brazilian caranaval
Same! I spent hours designing a cool party lot only to accidentally finish the scenario while cooking. Shame on me for not realizing that would end it, but still. I had the party anyways without the scenario
Tbh the scenarios in general, at least the quicker ones and/or the ones that don’t require you to start the game with specific relationships/jobs/etc., would make a lot more sense to me and add more to gameplay if you didn’t have to create a new household and instead it became a new way to earn satisfaction points for households you’re currently playing with. Like, I don’t wanna have to create a new household for every small scenario, it feels so unnecessary.
@@julq0524 last time I checked I can only start a new scenario in an existing save, but I’ll still have to create a new household in that save, I don’t think I can apply it to a household I’m already playing with.
@S4INT all I see is “start with existing save” and if you hover over that button it’ll say “this will create a new household within an existing save”, meaning I can play in the same save as my already existing households but the scenario can’t be applied to them, you have to create a new household in that save.
There's a way to do it. Not an easy one but, you can load up or save your current family (obviously they still have to meet the requirements) and then when you create the "new" household just take them from the gallery. But yeah I agree with you, it would be cooler your way :)
Idk why but I have every scenario in my game, tbh I'm not complaining cos I haven't got a chance to play with most of the limited time one so I will play them soon
They should have added the option of a “full on pack wedding” along with the elope immediately and plan wedding we already had. I mean, I may want the base game plan wedding with the pack objects but not the entire full on ceremony…… it should have been added as a 3rd option instead of becoming the default one…..
I’m playing the power couple scenario with a younger version of Nancy and Geoffrey Landgrabb- I plan to use it as Nancy’s villain origin story, lol. I’m enjoying it.

I tried the power couple one. My sim traveled to another lot and it completed the scenario saying they were broken up. They were still happily married, he just went to the bar one time. I was pretty disappointed.
I really like the way how you keep a positive attiutude towards EA and the Sims creators without making it feel forced. Yes, you make your money playing the game so it would be highly unwise to scare people off completely from the game. But you appear honest, mature and fair in your judgements (especially when your are not pleased about something like the current wedding pack) and I'm genuinely sorry that the new pack has been stressing you out so much! You are doing a great job of trying (and succeding imho) to find positive things in negative situations. (Great idea with this scenario review!) Also, I really like the etiquette you have during your twitch streams (I like both your videos here and watching your streams there) about inclusivity and being positive and patient with your viewers even if you are very stressed or if your viewers are being rude.
I've been really enjoying the scenarios. I play them all in one save file, and I try to end each story line with the character having babies or adopting, so that they can hopefully get some generations going. So like the son from the Finding Love After a Breakup scenario got married to one of the triplets from the Too Many Toddlers one, and another of the triplets married the Sim I made for the Making Money scenario.
I've never played scenarios before because it felt kinda off for my legacy gameplay, but now you just inspired me to start a new save file puRELY for scenarios. Thanks!
i dont have the wedding pack rn, and base game weddings r running better than ever. i had my sims get married yesterday, and it was the best sims wedding ive ever attended. scratch that, the best WEDDING ive ever attended. /hj

I started a new save with power couple on regular lifespan. Started with young adults. They succeeded the day before they both aged up to elder. (CEO and Angel Investor) it actually took me like a week of irl game play a couple hours a day to finish it. I love it!
I would love an updated or new Not So Berry challenge. We have had so many new packs out since your original version was created so a new version incorporating the new careers, traits and aspirations would be awesome
I played the Power Couple scenario... I went to Manage Worlds and back and all of a sudden I finished the scenario because the game thought my sims were no longer married. But they were! I really enjoy your videos. Keep up the good work :)
There is a glitch with the power couple one where if one leaves the lot to say visit a friend or just go somewhere else, it ends the scenario. I was actually enjoying the gameplay for once lol
Omg I think that happened to me too. It completed it. I was confused but the sim was going to get lv 10 ceo at the end of her shift so I assumed it just counted it early.
I played this scenario recently and I wanted them to stay together, it took two in-game weeks to get their relationship back to max friendship/romance! It was challenging in a fun way, I also gave them both jobs and tried to build relationships with townies as well. When the scenario ended I’d unlocked a “secret” ending because their relationship was maxed when they got married 🥰
I'd love to be able to create your own scenarios and maybe even upload them to a subsection of the gallery for others to play. Even if you got no reward at the end, it's just a great way to start a save
I tried Honeymooners and it ended my scenario and marked my Sims as “broken up” when my female Sim traveled to San Myshuno to ask Billie to be her Flower Pal. I was a day away from the wedding and I was pissed. There was another limited one that did that to me at the end of last year. My Sims traveled within their home world to dumpster dive for money and as soon as they hit the lot, the scenario ended. THRICE.
Hey, Kayla! So, in Brazil, we celebrate Carnaval and it's kind of a big deal and today it's the celebration day. Probably they did this scenario because of this, since Pablo Vittar, the dragqueen with whom they collaborate, is brazilian.
i played the power couple scenario recently and i was honestly really happy with it! im glad EA are starting to give us more permanent ones cause now i wanna replay power couple and try to reach another outcome LMAO

I don't have the pack but I just had a horrible wedding the other day. 1. The caterer kept making the same thing, didn't even make a cake 2. The grooms didn't walk to the arch to get married, they stood out on the porch while some people watched from insidr the building 3. My sim's mom started beating up his husband. I guess she didn't like the idea of her son marrying a vampire... At least no one died 😂
I find that with most of the scenarios if I travel to a new location it auto completes the challenge. It happened to me during Power Couple and Finding Love After a Breakup.
I tried the power couple scenario the other day. Was going along no problem until I had one sim go to another lot on their own and the scenario just completed. They hadn't reached the top of the careers, they hadn't broken up it just ended! Has definitely made me not want to try any of the others :(
The power couple one was broken when i tried, as soon as we my sims traveled to a different lot the game declared them divorced and ended the scenario. But they where still married.
That happened to me too and mine were so close to maxing it out. So I went ahead and played it out anyway and both of them made the top of the career and also the husband got abducted by an alien so we had an alien baby
IIRC carl's wedding fixes do allow you to have basegame weddings, even with the wedding pack installed, might be worth checking out to keep the pack installed but not be tied to the new weddings!

XD Also... if the Sims can't make the Wedding Pack "work" to the point it is tolerable... Make the dang thing a "stuff pack". The world, build items, Cas items, cakes and all that... give us that with wedding venue lot types, keep a slow dance option and more people will be happy.
That wedding venue is gorgeous. I need to get that for my game but I refuse to buy the wedding pack until they fix it so there is not much point if it wont work. I am constantly having that issue with having to fight my sims to do what I need them to do and it has gotten old.
The newest scenarios are fun and so is the power couple one! If you play it just beware that if you travel with only 1 of the sims the game will say they're divorced :/
A few days ago I placed the same premade wedding lot in my game, realised I couldn't play in it and had the wedding in the same park under the same tree.
Idk what happened when I played the Power Couple scenario. The game started on friday afternoon and my sims didn’t have work until monday. Either late sunday or early monday I got a notification that said “scenario complete!” And something about my sims being divorced. But I didn’t get even to send them to work once!!! 🤣
I was playing through the power couple one, and like one promotion in, I had one sim travel off the lot then *BAM* , suddenly the game thinks I had completed the scenario.
I did the power couple one and had my selfsim and Penny Pizzazz. We had a child and I went into Cas. It said that I completed the scenario by them breaking up.

I was hopeful for a more involved scenario with Power Couple too but no. I had one of my sims leave the lot without her husband to hang with her friend and the scenario ended saying they got divorced. It was like 15-20 min of gameplay.
You now what is best? Play whim based with the scenarios and see the direction of the stories, tray it is really fun! You will need mods to fix the whim system.
