this reminds me of my current lp where i have a sim who’s dating this guy but she doesn’t know he’s a criminal, he tells her he works a overnight factory job and she’s gonna find out and he has to choose his job or her, I love the spiceeee shipty🙈
I love sims ruining their lives. 😂 I had a rich politician sim who had secret addictions and affairs and ended up losing her home and family and everything. I played her for the sim equivalent of 10 years, she is sober today and has managed to build a new life for herself as a crafter and dog rescuer.
I was so immersed in the story that I almost skipped over the fact that Nicole gambled away parts of her children’s college funds…. Her husband is a saint because I’m not gonna lie it would take a lot for me to even been on speaking terms with a spouse who essentially lied and stole from me and the children. Name suggestions for the children: Ivy, Ingrid or Rose for the eldest daughter. Nate, Barry,Robbie. Frankie,Harley,Robin for the youngest daughter. I tried to think of names that I haven’t seen you use for other characters lol. Girl I was struggling lol.

Since Nicole’s favorite flowers are hyrdrangeas and she has a flower tattoo, maybe Heidi like hydrangeas for one of the daughters and Lily/Violet/Rose for the other daughter.

Hi Shipty. Love your storytelling. Its so good. Telling us what happened when Nicole's husband found out about her secret was lovely backstory. Would be so great to start the story there. I think a prequel would be amazing. I love when stories start off before the drama unfolds. Imagine how all of us tugboats would have been on the edge of our seats in anticipation wondering if Nicole would have been able to keep her secret from her husband and family. And all the events and suspense that would have led up to the separation. (Any goal or intention + conflict = audience concern.) (Audience concern + an unknown outcome = anticipation for what will happen next,). This anticipation is held until it leads up to an actual outcome, usually an unexpected outcome for our protagonist/main character.... **For Example. ** Analeese had a goal/intention, which was to carry on a relationship with Emiliano The conflict was....Analeese faked her appearance through photos and omitting her true self from Emiliano. As a result, the audience is triggered to be concerned for the fate of Analeese and Emiliano's relationship Therefore the audience is put into anticipation for the outcome: What will Emiliano think when he finally meets her... ** end of example** You structured the story so well and that is the structure that keeps many audiences reading a book/ or binge watching a show. Audiences love when there is anticipation, when there is something to worry about, and an outcome to look forward to. *** Another Example** Lets say Nicole has a new goal/intention, which is to rekindle her relationship with her husband and kids Lets say the conflict is...Nicole's urge to gamble increases when she's upset. So this leads to borrowing money from someone untrustworthy (perhaps her neighbor or coworker, someone who knows her husband, etc). Now Nicole owes this untrustworthy person and because she cant pay what she borrowed, her secret will be used as leverage against her unless she performs some more gambling errands for this untrustworthy source until the debt is paid. These conflicts leads to more escalated conflicts as now Nicole must keep a secret from her husband and kids. She doesnt want to lose them for good so she makes great effort to show up to family meets and attempts one on one dates with her husband. This may even give her husband and kids the impression that things are on the up and up. And everything will finally be better. However she may choose to lie to her husband and children in an attempt to reunite with her family because she loves them. Sometimes these errands may mean she has to cancel a date or stand her children up on occassions where they expect her presence. The gambling errands affect her nights resulting in no sleep and Nicole hardly being able to stay awake at work....now her job is in jeopardy. And she cant borrow money from her husband because then he'll question her gambling again. Therefore the audience is put into anticipation of an outcome: Will Nicole's secret get exposed? Will her husband divorce her? Will this web of lies cause her children to want nothing to do with her? Will she tell the truth? How bad will her family dynamic be affected before she has to make a choice? ...food for thought. love your stories. Cant wait for more. :)
I think that for the youngest daughter her name should be Adalyn or Adelaide and for her son he looks like a Matt and for the oldest daughter she looks like her name would either be Isabel Rachel or Penelope
