Never got the hang of notion. Always felt too complex and messy for me, but you made it look a lot clean and easy to organize. I might give it another try because of you. Thank you for this video! Also, you're one of my favorite youtubers Edit: it took some time but i finally gave it a try! I'm using it to keep track of my gaming backlog and long term goals for my life. It was kinda overwhelming first but i found some nice templates that helped me.
I really appreciate the fact that you didn't: A. Drag the video to 10 - 15 mins B. Monetize on your template like (buy my notion template) thing that productive gurus do C. keep the content human and down to earth. Thank you for this video ✨
I just love your videos and started notion a week ago .... I felt it was confusing so didn't open it for a few days . But when I used it it proved useful but i just need to learn the UI more
I watched this video a couple of weeks ago . . . it really intrigued me. I then did a little research on Blocking, and even bought "The Time-Block Planner" by Cal Newport. I'm glad I did, because when I came back to watch this video again it made a whole lot more sense to me. Now I'm ready to get those templates. Thanks...
I love this! I started with the Notion guide video and then binged-watching the others lol. Really like your editing/style/ideas. Looking forward to your future videos!! ^^
your videos are such a great inspiration. Can we have your customized Habit Tracker Template to duplicate it for ourselves? Would be nice, thanks for the great work. Keep it up
This material fosters deep reflection. The book I read with related ideas was exceptionally thought-provoking. "A Life Unplugged: Reclaiming Reality in a Digital Age" by Theodore Blaze
Never liked Notion besides its theme. Way to complex, terrible at searching, not universal tags for all tables, locked data that can be a pain to export, no offline support for mobile devices which I really need.
Notion automatically charges additional fees for user errors without additional consent, and when inviting others for collaboration, it automatically charges an annual fee for each person invited. Once you receive the card receipt, you cannot receive any refunds and although all requests will be answered kindly, refunds will never be given. Currently, my account has $5000 in credits. If you don't want to feel that way, delete Notion. Traditional free sites are much better than Notion. Don't fall for marketing that pays for reviews on RU-vid. Just stay on the free account. You are in danger as soon as you enter your payment information. How many years will it take for an individual to actually use $5000 credits for Notion? I have been exchanging crazy notions and emails for over a month. From now on, I will be kind, but it seems like I will be laughing at you behind your back. Again, don't fall for it. It's garbage. If you still want to try using it, use only the free version and never register your payment information. Once you receive the invoice, it's already too late.
Embracing simplicity in productivity is a game-changer, isn't it? 🌟 I've paired Notion with boost app social for a streamlined content calendar. It takes the guesswork out of engagement and keeps everything visually organized, just like your tidy Notion setup!
Thanks so much Robert! I finally found a production system that works for me because of your video!! I tried many other apps but Notion is the one that finally gets me to put everything (to-dos, calendar, notes, habit tracker...) into a single place and make me stick to it. Thank you thank you thank you!!!
wow. not only is this such a helpful video as an avid notion user myself, the editing and shots are sooo good! i am so excited to watch more of your videos :D
Where have you been?? I miss you already... BTW, I tried Notion and Craft but Craft suits me much better and I can use Craft the same way throughout all Apple devices. I love Notion's interface but it doesn't suit my style and I really don't understand how to use it on Mac.
Con tantos videos de nivel avanzado sobre Notion es refrescante ver alguno un poco más simple y que tome menos tiempo de construir algo funcional, bravo 👏🏻
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE create an in depth video about your creative process, from topics and ideas to ideation to creating to when u r going to film to posting and posting across all platforms
Great video, Robert! I am new to your channel and I am also from Colombia. I noticed that your circular progress bar on the habit tracker is not working properly. I think if you change the "divide by" field from 4 to 2 it should fix it. Excelente canal, amigo!
How do you deal with random ideas or bucket list items? For example, you get an idea to write a productivity Ebook or want to begin eating healthier, etc.. I get the categorization, context and filing those away to look at later. The challenge is having a system to review those "ideas" at some point and begin working on them.
Great question friend. For content I use a content calendar template, the first column is for ideas. For stories I have a different page where I store daily highlights. And for digital products a different page as well. (Check out my ‘easiest notion guide vid’). I check these pages on a daily basis, that helps with execution.
Since I started to transition. I've been using Microsoft Excel and Spreadsheet but I find it difficult to make it work the way I want it to. I might try this. Thanks, Robert!
Notion's templates used (Weekly to-do, Habit tracker and Content calendar). In this video I explain step by step how to start from scratch, get the templates and do a few tweaks: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-UXscvzcDIxE.html
@@RobertCreating i see, because a liked it, and want for question for this, but thanks, i´m Brazilian, when saw your video i´m think, this video will be good.
I hope you know that with the Habit Tracker you can set the ring to show the correct percentage. Just go to "Edit Property" then to "Show as" and change "Dividend by" to the number of your habit. My English is not the best, I hope you understand me :)
Hey Robert, can you please release a copy of the system you use? This is my favorite one out of everything I've seen. Sad that there isn't a link for it
Truly loved this video man, I thought my content quality was great, then I watched this… and reconsidered everything ahahah! We have a pretty similar youtube workflow page for content creation, I just can’t wait to be able to afford a macbook pro so that I can have a better use of Notion (on the iPad it’s meh…) take care :)
Hello there, I am glad you like them! I will def make the creativity video but I am still experimenting with AI and other tools so don't want to rush it. Thanks for the support
øke i am going to sound so clumsy but I have been trying to make the goals page, but I can not for the life of me get that habit tracker in that page, or even to work with the right days if I make a separate page for the tracker. HELP
Hey there, I did it this way, get the habit tracker template first, then on top of it write your goals, you can use check boxes and toggle lists to hide them if you want.
A cool & clean system, as always ! I am also shifting from messy GSheets to Notion and already experiencing the bliss. Your last video on Notion was a good nudge. I'm curious to know how you manage invoicing in Notion (if that is okay to share) as I'm stuck in this particular area. As a freelancer, I use GSheets to send invoice to clients, but that is becoming cumbersome. Your take? Also, on a different note, would like to know what books your read and your recommendations. I know this is off-topic and not directly related to productivity, just curious...
Thanks, buddy; glad you enjoyed it!! That's a tough question; I am still working on a system for invoices. I use Canva to create good-looking invoices, haha 🙈 and I store them in Notion. Not very efficient, to be honest. I may do a book series this year, glad you asked!! Here is a little list of great books I've read recently: - Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow - Gabrielle Zevin amzn.to/3kb7BPg - Lessons in Chemistry - Bonnie Garmus amzn.to/3XAeveQ - Four Thousand Weeks - Oliver Burkeman. www.amazon.com/Four-Thousand-Weeks-Time-How-ebook/dp/B07X3DH41F/ref=sr_1_1?crid=AVB9QBD3E663&keywords=4+thousand+weeks&qid=1676585186&sprefix=4+thousand+weeks+%2Caps%2C159&sr=8-1
@@RobertCreating Woah ! Four Thousand Weeks is already is in my list for this year, seems like I got two more interesting recommendations ! Will definitely peer into them. Thanks Man !!
Hey buddy, the habit tracker template is the same. You need to change the items you want to track and that's it, I also added a list of goals on top of it.
They are all Notion's templates buddy (Weekly to-do, Habit tracker and Content calendar). In this video I explain step by step how to start from scratch, get the templates and do a few tweaks: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-UXscvzcDIxE.html
Hi Robert, what did you use to build the time-blocking section. And do you have it as a base and then archive every week? Thanks in advance, love the video!
Any chance the template is available or you could do a how to video? Been searching everywhere for a notion productivity planner that matches my lifestyle and this one appears perfect!!
Hey Jacob, all templates are Notion's. In this video I explain step by step how to start from scratch, get the templates and do a few tweaks: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-UXscvzcDIxE.html
