lorraine's vocal is warm and brought a tingling feeling to my heart when i listen to this song. there isnt a need to justify the theme song is indeed or not but the song that sings for us shall be. The nature of life will ensue that only the truely spore song will be remembered as those great ones before...luv shine singapore!!!!

the video is so touching. tackles the lives of lower income families in difficult times, this is the kind of spirit that should be portray, our giving and care, not keep trying to focus on the bright future of our next generation or how we should embrace foreign talents. Those issues are obvious and gleaming, this video shows things that are not seen in everyday, another face of singapore, the true and sincere face of singapore which we should also be proud of, not just always abut achievements
Very touching Mv and song. The part where i got the most feeling will be the part the kids started to sing.... Nicely done... as alot of people have forgotten about how hard life can be... Good Job... Those never been tru will never know how it feels when you wanna but things for your kids but you dun have the power to do it...

This is what I called a NDP Song, one that invokes emotions and makes one think of home... I have always like NDP Song by Lorraine. Kudo to her for writing songs for National Day years after years....
The relevant authority would most likely be Selena Tan, the creative director for this year's NDP. She's also the one that wrote the lyrics for this year's song. Good luck. :)
