This video is from 2020 when I took my sisters to Germany. This is our second day doing normal german things and enjoying experiencing a brand new culture! Much love to Germany and the German People. I am uploading longer form content of my old videos because less cutting and editing gives a better sense of what we experienced and its nice to re-live the memories. Enjoy! BOOM BABY LETS GO! Los Gehts 😄
I am German and have never seen anybody cutting an egg like this. Most Germans like a soft boiled egg for breakfast (boiled for 5 to 7 minutes, according to your taste) which is put into an "Eierbecher" = egg cup (only the upper part of the egg gets peeled. Eat it with a little spoon)
I'd like to mention that the perfect boiling time for a soft egg is slightly different depending on your location. The boiling point of water decreases with the height. So a higher location, eg. on a mountain, requires longer time for a perfectly boiled egg. I'm on 500m and I need exactly 8 minutes to get a soft L-sized egg and I only needed around 6 minutes for a soft egg when I was on vacation at the baltic sea.
your sister in blue shirt says "ein Ei !" is absolut perfect german pronounciation ...and shows to cut an egg with a knife sooo perfectly...awesome ) she is nearer to understand german in a whole ! )
God bless you Conner it’s good to see you upload even if they’re older videos. God has given you two lovely siblings and the gift of love, cherish that forever ❤
There is actually a little tool to crack the egg open. It is called a "Eierschalensollbruchstellenverusacher" and i love it. It is used to produce a clean cut of the egg.
Keep uploading these German videos, i love your German videos ❤️❤️✨ bcoz I'm coming to garmany soon . I get know about many new thinks about Germany ✨✨love from India ❤️
old video, but still beautiful and priceless! I would really love to see your sisters reaction on their own blog/Video about their own european experiences/views to get their opinion about this trip, but I guess that will never happen. So nevertheless a thumbs up for uploading this great entertaining and funny video from the past!
Hi Conner, I like your videos with you and your sisters in Germany and think it's great that you three speak so well German. It's nice to hear that you think Germany is so great, especially Stuttgart. "And the Döner is the best"😁👍. For the next visit to Germany / Stuttgart I would recommend "Esslingen am Neckar", which is a small town located next to Stuttgart. There is a great Altstadt with beautiful Fachwerkhäusern and from the Esslinger castle you have a breathtaking view. If you come to visit in winter, you will certainly be interested to the Christmas market in Esslingen. It is called the "medieval market". I hope you could understand everything and who knows maybe I'll see a video of it on your channel someday. Good luck and mach weiter so 😁👍
Well - nice that you discovered the "secret" behind German compound words. Just split them. The splits are simple and make sense when you combine them. If you don't know a Germann word, try to do this - split it into the simpliest components and combine those. In 90 % of the cases you will be understood.
@@ConnerSully it's like a hat for the egg with a small steel rod and ball on top of it. You put it over the egg an let the ball fall/slide down the rod and it creates a perfectly round crack in the eggshell. Roughly translated it means: "eggshell breaking point causer". Sollbruchstelle meaning a predetermined breaking point. haha
@@ConnerSully "Deetroitx" already explained it perfectly. You need to try it if you love eggs for your breakfast, this tool is my most useful and most loved kitchen tool. It's also a quite funny German word once you master the pronunciation :)
As a general rule of thumb, german doesn't have silent vocals unless the word is originating from a foreign language. So it's more like Shpic-Eh-Quark ;)
This is the best thing ever. I like this Content. Qmericans speak Germas is the cooles thing ever Haha Ich mag es voll. Its my new Account... OMGGGG CONNER you have almst 100 k I follow your Chanel 7 years Haha This jorney is wonderful Thank you 😇😇😇😇
If u like Erdnussflips for Friends u have to try from Company Lorenz the Erdnuss Locken Jumbo , in my opinion they taste better than the other Erdnussflips.
24:16 The Toblerone Chocolate 🍫🐻🏔️🇨🇭 is actually original from Switzerland 🇨🇭🏔️, but not from Germany 🇩🇪🦅 at all 😉😄😁🙂🙂😃😃😎😎🤜🏻🤛🏻👍🏻🤘🏻🍫🍫🏭🇨🇭🇨🇭🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻
Hello Conner! I have a feeling your two sisters feel like they're in paradise when they go shopping? Small note, the German art of bread baking was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
I like my breakfast egg yolk runny! spinkle with salt, and dunk some bread in there to soak up that yolky goodness. then scoop with a tiny spoon, and dont forget to sprinkle salt on every scoop ur doing!
You put the egg in an egg cup and tap the small part of the top off with a knife and eat witha spoon add salt and pepper snd eat with toast or bread .why dont they know this?
Eggs for breakfast are not cooked well. The yolk is still some liquid. Therefore you had the eggcups/Eierbecher. And don't eat it with a real silverspoon.
@@ConnerSully I rewatched the part of the video now, just to make sure that I really saw it right, and what you guys had was actually the 'original' ones in the red bag, which are just salted. The ketchup flavored ones are in a green bag and are called 'Ketchup Style'. Which is really stupid if you ask me😄 Red should be Ketchup. Hope your sister's get the chance to also try them, because I guess they would like them better. Have a great time Connor✌️
Actually if go by public transports you're a 'Fahrgast', but if go by car with friends or family you're just a 'Mitfahrer'. Like in "Mitfahrzentrale' Greetings from Berlin 😎
Lol I am one of them Americans that had a fake i.d. card in 10th grade highschool so i can enter the club with my senior friends because some of them were already 18 and 19 years old
you need to be 18 to buy alcohol .... u can drink legally beer in public without being under the supervision of their parents .... parents can allow kids age 14+ to drink beer and wine under their supervision in public. for harder liquor you must be 18, to buy it or to consume it.
