Hey guys! Thanks for watching! I failed to mention in this video that if you're struggling with allergies this season (as I am), definitely try one of the de-puffing tools. I get mild sinus headaches, runny nose and itchy red eyes during the spring season, and those are soooo helpful for reducing inflammation!!
I’d love to know how you clean these tools, especially the rollers and massagers. I always wonder what the best way is to make sure they aren’t putting bacteria into my skin!
I use gua sha at work! I'm a massage therapist. Comes from Thai massage training. Traditionally it's a piece of bone used. And there is so many scrapes per area. You turn super red and it's painful lol. But it clears things like tendinitis so much better :) weird seeing it in skin care!
Hey Rachel! I was wondering if you would ever consider using a derma roller? I’m hesitant to try it but I’ve seen great results. Love your videos as always ❤️❤️
Thank you for reiterating people to do research. One thing I want to note is to be very careful with gua sha. As a massage therapist and esthetician I’ll be taking extra courses on it because gua sha is supposed to break capillaries to promote healing and collagen production. The led mask you have is good, but at home ones won’t be nearly as effective as a professional light therapy. Your videos are always awesome. Thank you!
What a fun video, Rachel! I have two skincare gadgets, which I’ve been enjoying - the Foreo Fofo from last summer’s FabFitFun box, and a jade roller (which one of my babies just broke the other day by using it as a hammer 🙈). I appreciate seeing you still use some of the items I remember you sharing years ago (like the steamer and the LED mask), because their longevity shows they’d be worth investing in. I’m intrigued by the jade scraper! 😃 Thanks so much for sharing all these products and ideas with us!
I always kind of struggle with products like the jade roller. They look a certain way - they look luxurious and magical; and good ones are not cheap... but I haven't been able to find any evidence of it having really any effect at all.
The stone itself has no effect; it’s just pretty. But the cold rolling motion is a fancy way of combining the old ‘cold spoon’ trick and a good facial massage. If you find a deal on one, I say get it - simply because it feels really pleasant.
I miss your sit down and chat skincare videos sooooo much 🥺❤️❤️❤️ been following you for years, remember how you used to film in your clothes room, or something like that, and I could listen to you for hours 😍😍😍
This was such an amazing and informative video! I love this! Once I have my 2nd baby, I'm really going to get back into my skincare routine and this was really helpful and motivating for me... Thanks for sharing! XO
I have at least 4 or 5 of this tools thanks to your videos.. they are pretty affordable.. some you can get at stores like Marshall’s, Tjx, home goods or amazon.. I pay like $9.99 for that same brand steamer at Marshall’s..
Thank you for taking the time to do this video. It is very informative. Do you use any of the other beauty appliances like the Dermaflash, the NuFace, My Skin Buddy (MSB) and other facial beauty appliances? ~Barbara
I'm new to your channel and really enjoy all the education and tutorials re skincare and healthy living. Your videos are so calming as well. Thank you for sharing all your beauty knowledge;) 😊❤
Thank you so so much for the work you put in all of your videos. I love to watch everything about how to maintain self care and keep motivated :) You´re such an inspiring woman, Rachel. :3
Hi Rachel! I really enjoyed your video! I was wondering if you could do a video on how you clean your skin care products? I have a jade roller and Clarisonic brush but have no idea how to clean them properly :(
Sorry, stupid question here...if you do the facial massage at night, would you wash your face afterwards before applying your skin care products? As opposed to putting them on over the oil you used to prep your skin...thanks! Love your videos so much!
I love gua sha! I started to experiment with a derma roller. Have you ever tried it? If yes, what are your thoughts? I feel that as a mom I want to take care of myself more 😂 happy mommy happy kiddos. Your skin looks beautiful!
I’m surprised to learn that it reduces sinus..thank u..I too had a prblm of migrane n sinus..becoz of those I’m having dark circles..will those get reduced??how you take care of sinus?
I would love to know how to properly use the clarisonic. Since you have worked with them, would you be able to do a video on it? I always breakout once I start using it, then get scared and not use it for months.
Awosome collection. Can I use brushing tools like Clarisonic every single day? And how about steaming my face, can I do it every day? Can you write how often one should use those tools that you showed in the video and for how many minutes? I never know how long is enough for the skin so the tool can do its job, also to not overdone it.
Haven’t had a minute to watch this video yet so I don’t know if ur little diffuser u have is in this one or not but I really really love that little glass diffuser u have that seems like it doesn’t require water?! I’d love love love to know where it’s from I’ve been meaning to ask for a long time now!! Btw obsessed w ur videos
Hello, I just discovered you and I am really enjoying you're channel!. I was wondering what you use to wash your face when you dont use the clarisonic brush? Thanks!
