Love Gatlinburg! Not crazy about the crowds at all. Last time we were there, we stayed in Townsend. It was so peaceful and gorgeous there. My fav area in Gatlinburg is the Village Shops. It's so peaceful and so many great shops, like The Donut Frier, art gallery, and more. Peace in the craziness..
I’m so glad you got to experience the Haunted Adventure. I enjoyed it when I saw Jacob the Carpetbagger and Adam the Woo did a walkthrough the attraction. Maybe you should’ve said you’re friends with those 2 and they would’ve let you film

I live in Cleveland TN which is about 2 hours away from Gatlinburg. I was going to take my 9 year old son for his birthday over the weekend, but didn't get to. It would have been awesome to see you guys there.
Usually, Mon- Thursday while kids are still in school and no rod run, etc, going on is the best time to go. Low crowds and enjoyable. Plus cheaper hotel rates Usually.
Were you on the North Carolina side of the mountains at any time? We’re only 10 miles from Cherokee in a tiny town called Bryson City. We did the Haunted Attraction years ago and it was pretty fun. We made the mistake of going on a Saturday during spring break. lol it was hell on earth. lol but yeah mornings and middle of the week are good times especially during off season. Oh you just answered my question about NC. If you’re ever back up here would love to treat you and Cris to dinner.
Shame on Chris!! But there are a whole lot of folks there!! We went last November and that was a good time to go! Not many folks and I took my 8 pound poodle with us! I had a stroller for her and she seemed to really enjoy it!! But, Bella is larger and I don’t think she would like the stroller!! Mine barked when she would see birds and other dogs!!🤣 The North side of the mountains is just so beautiful!!!
@Tampa Jay I enjoyed your video. But I got to ask what was it about being there that I would guess you both didn't like was it the crowd. You got to remember it's memorial weekend. Gatlinburg is always insane on the holidays. Imagine being there on 4th of july or New Year's eve when then there is over 50,000 people now that is insane busy. Or like for example going to a Rod Run event in Pigeon forge. When I lived up that way I could get home in 15 mins. During the Rod Run event it took me 3 hours. But seriously go to Gatlinburg During the week and pass on the holiday's because it's going to be crowded and your not going to have a good time at all. Have you been to the Mysterious mansion at the end of Gatlinburg before now that one is definitely worth going to and there as far as I know nice about letting RU-vidrs video Jacob when he would go there he always got to video in it. And the Ripley's Haunted Mansion I could of said it's a ripoff in my opinion. And you are right though go in the morning is good especially because the breakfast places are open and you will have the best breakfast you have ever eaten before.
Tennessee in my opinion is one of the beautiful places in this country. Although wr live in Oregon...daughter in law moved herself and grandson to East Tennessee. We spent 2 weeks with them lady June and went to Pigeon Forge...and Titanic experience ( u need to see that) and Hard Rock.. Love all your videos...both you and Chris...it's such positive vibes and you both are exceptional. Thanks for everything! ❤
Earthquake the ride is one of the best dark rides out there , because accidents don't happen to heathen people .😀😀😀😯😉😈😈😈😉😎😎💀💀💀💀👽 , its just a rule of good life , Tampa jay made that Halloween farm shop with all that neat horror stuff .💀💀💀👽😎😀😀😯😉😈😈😈😈😈😷😎😎😎
I love Gatlinburg. If you ever get a chance, check out the Chimneys picnic area. It’s free to visit, and crazy beautiful. A lot of tourists don’t seem to know about it.
Love downtown Gatlinburg. Try to avoid it on weekends though. 😳 I live about an hour and a half east of there. Next time you visit you have to go by the Mystery
I love the opening view of the river. That cold water would feel so nice right now. Anakeesta has amazing views. Lots to do at the top of it. You visiting maggie valley and the old ghost town park at all? I'm sure it has security anyways.
Will always be I've of my favorite places... but on weekends it's awful during summer. Once you learn back roads it's much easier and less stressful plus you will see some things you never even thought about!!
Gatlinburg is packed on the weekends and throughout the summer. It’s less crowded during the week other times of the year. I always stay at a cabin in Cobbly Knob further away from town. I also spend more time on a mountain trail than in town. The Arts & Crafts Community and a few eating spots are a must for me. I believe there’s a haunted walking tour there at night. I’ve been wanting to check that out.
I was dragged to Gatlinburg once and ended up loving it😂. One thing I did hate was the wait for the lift up to Anakesta. People I was with were hell bent on getting on the chair lift, but an hour wait was ridiculous. Next time take the truck ride up. The aquarium was the best I have been to.
