The writing for this show was magnificent. This scene gets me every time. I was blessed to have grown up with this show and still binge it every now and again.
I watched this accidentally when I was 10 or 11 years old, it was just playing in the background while I was doing my stuff in the living room ... the magnificent music was playing and these worked marked my life forever I'm a 36 year old man now and it still brings tears to my eyes
I saw this episode when I was 14. I am 42 now. I remember I hated how I looked and I remember crying at the end of this episode because I related to it and Angela so much. Definitely a show that defined my early teen years.
Anyone wanting to watch thisnshow again its on Hulu. I visit it every now and then. Its like an old friend..did you know that the end wasnt supposed to be the actual end? The shownwas canceled unfortunately. I will bever forget it' how it shaped my teen years. The best thing about this scene for me was the way Rayanne looks at Angela. Its only for a quick second as she watched tears form in Angela's eyes. The music ..her words. So powerful ❤❤ the comments im reading through let me know im not the only one who was impacted by this show. Love you all ❤❤❤
This slays me every time. It did then, 25 years ago, and it still does ❤️Thank you ❤️ (I would love to know which writer wrote this part. I thought it was the best moment of the entire show. An emerald amongst diamonds...)
It is criminal that this show only got 1 season. I remember when MTV was fighting to try and keep this show on but alas they did not listen to the fans. I related to this show so much and related to Angela. I was the awkward girl in high school and did not like myself or find beauty in myself and it made me feel wonderful to know that other girls felt the same way.
Did anyone ever notice (Those of us who love the show and the newbies too) that at 1:14...Rayanne writes "SLUT" on her nametag LMAO! If you've seen the whole episode you'll know why!
