Oh ALLISON! Thanks for this video! My husband and I recently moved back to the Midwest from Oceanside, CA. While we are enjoying the time back here with our family/grand kiddos, my ❤️ is sad that we no longer reside in beautiful SOCAL! I used to spend a great deal of time in Carlsbad because it is so close to Oceanside. For every reason you mentioned and so many more, Carlsbad fed my soul! The ocean was most definitely my “happy place”especially during COVID! I credit it for saving my sanity! I miss residing in sunny CA so so much, your video made my day, maybe my month! Kudos! Carlsbad looks like such a fun place to explore! The Beach Terrace Hotel and Carlsbad Village seem like great spots to relax and enjoy the area. Great video. Its charming. My grandfather lived right by the 🏖️ state park in a retirement community owned by burt reynolds. But I love the downtown area. Great restaurants. Love Carlsbad. I am nostalgic for it. 😊I remember going to pea soup Andersons as well. Is that still there?
Been to Carlsbad a few times. It's a cute little city. I love the flower fields but it's sad that the price has almost doubled over the past few years.

Yep, been there done that. In fact, we've traveled by car in all 50 states, plus spain, austria, france. germany is superclean all over the place, switzerland too. I was drafted into U.S. Army....sent to South Korea. Awesome country. Made friends with Korean college kids my age. My dad was U.S. Navy officer....we lived on Okinawa 3 yrs, where i attended U. S. high school for 7th, 8th, 9th grade. No difference from U. S. education. Visited Japan and Taiwan. All fer now😊
