My son is doing homework. But I can't read Chinese, my husband's checking it 

He teach the wife to speak Chinese too ,it will not be difficult to teach her how to write the language 😊

It's compulsory in China to do homework with parents. That's why papa signed it off. As long as it's one of parents sign off to prove that the child did their homework. It's an amazing practice and encourages parents to be involved in their children's education. Unfortunately, the education in the West is going downhill BECAUSE most parents don't care, resulting in high percentage of illiteracy among young people.

Claribelle: China isn't perfect but often tops PISA. China also often wins the math and science International Olympiad competitions. China is not perfect but not as bad as Westerners believe. Check out the USA that's a developed country and the global hegemon. The USA could use improvement too. Btw, the USA is the most innovative country but mostly immigrants innovate for it. You are right

I doubt it will happen; it would have been easier if she spoke to him in it from the time he couldn't speak, he would have still learned Chinese since he is surrounded by Chinese people but learned to communicate with his mom in the Uganda language. He will most likely communicate with his Ugandan family in English after learning it from school.

I agree. There's the added pluses of teaching Anzai you're never too old to learn, by helping Rose to learn to read Chinese he'll be helping himself. And we can't leave out Wu Jianyu he can do the teaching to read Chinese and learn to speak and read English as well. Mama, papa, and babies all in school together ❤❤❤️

I really think learning with Anzai would be a good way to improve your Chinese reading skills. I know I’ve learned more Spanish helping my children than I learned when I was in high school I never thought I’d learn or retain enough Spanish to save my life. I thought while you visited your family in Uganda Anzai should learn the language you were speaking as will because it is proven fact children can easily learn multiple languages young. It’s like because they are a fresh pallet so to speak the don’t have bad language pronunciation habits yet.
