Lucky day at the swap. Found a stabilizing grip for only $5. Testing both the grip and my new fish eye lens at my local boardwalk. Current rig: Sony CCD-TRV65 Opteka 2x Ninja Lens amzn.to/3MVGGCL Opteka X-grip amzn.to/3oonkwN
I might be wrong but I feel like you are losing quite a bit of quality at the digitising stage unless you like the look because I'm sure this model camera with the Hi8 XR gives a pretty decent image
You could be right. I’ll have to look into getting a better picture. Everything shown in this video was digitized through a VIXLW capture card and QuickTime. If you have any advice or suggestions I would love to hear it.
@@DuztinCruz Maybe make sure you are recording with unused Hi8 tapes instead of regular 8mm/Video8 tapes to get the best quality out of your camera. Hi8 tapes have much better resolution than the older 8mm/Video8 tapes due to its newer technology. You can also deinterlace your footage after you have digitized it to get rid of jagged hotizontal lines in the video. I'm not sure what editing software you use, but there are various videos online on how to do this. Hope this helps
@@DuztinCruz Also, try using an AV (or preferably, S-Video) to HDMI converter into an HDMI capture card. I've had good results on some tests I did with an old M9000 S-VHS camera.
Yo bro I got the exact same cam corder mine is from 98 will it fit the fish eyes lens that you have because I’ve been trying to find one for the longest time thanks!!
