Thanks, my wife got it for me for my 59th birthday this last May. I'll let her know you liked it - it'll make her day! Have a super day! Thank you Sir!
Gorgeous Springfield, I have such a soft spot for that model, and I really like the 116 powerplant. The Springfield model rides good, turns good, and is so much fun to throw around in the parking lot doing slow-speed maneuvers it's a wonder why I don't have one yet LOL. Maybe one day... Great video ABM, Ride Every Day and Enjoy It!
Thank you very much! The 116 power plant is perfect for a strong, distance cruiser/baggar. LOL...I understand the comment "I wonder why I don't have one yet...." There are lots of bikes I feel that way about...lol!!! You too!
Sitting here freezing in Northwest Ohio watching bike videos. I have a Scout and Chieftain Limited, if I had room, time and just cash to burn I’d add a Springfield. That’s a good looking one 👍🏻
Thank you sir! Yea, the freezing just ended (hopefully for good) here in Missouri. I used to have a. scout sixty, I sure miss the scouts cruiser appeal and look. Chieftain Limited is a specularly nice bike! Congrats! Stay warm and thank you sir for commenting.
Thanks Brother! I mentioned your advice in my comments. I did a take at another sport, but the sun was in my eyes...lol. I looked like the blind motorcycle spokesman....lol.
beautiful bike, what kind of windshield is that? the attachable one? I love it. I'm considering getting an indian, I saw the springfield dark horse but the lack of a windshield made me pass on it, but an attachable one sounds amazing.
Thank you for commenting! Yes, it is an attachable windshield and it has aerodynamic "flex" areas, so it moves the wind over the head and around the bike. It is better than the standard windshield. But I must admit, not sure it is worth the extra price (I did not have to pay the extra price since it was my third bike form the same dealer). The Indians are special - there is something about them that calls me more than other bikes - If you get an Indian you'll "get" what I mean. When I bought my 2018 Springfield, the windshield came with it, then in 2021, it wasn't standard - I can only think that first time buyers will be hesitant to buy a Springfield just because of that extra expense. Thanks again and have an awesome ride!
I love your output on the springfield, I have 2017 classic springfield, I hoped they would have put the 116 on the classic 2023 but they didn't, so I'm keeping mine until they do.ride safe my friend.
Thank you very much! As my previous videos show, I don’t talk much, but I’m Branching out of my comfort zone. Lol Have a spectacular day and hope you’re getting a super ride in!
Gorgeous bike…I’m lusting after a 2023 quartz grey Springfield at a local dealer. What windshield is that and is it pretty effective at highway speeds?
Hello! The windshield is their quick release windshield. It goes for around $700.00. However, being third time buyer form the same dealer, I got it for the same price as the standard windshield. Yes, it is better than the standard windshield. If it was out of my own pocket, not sure if it was worth the couple hundred more, but there is a difference. especially when the winds are high. I UNDERSTAND LUSTING FOR A BIKE! LOL. Thankfully, my wife doesn't get jealous of the bikes...lol. Hope you are able to get that bike - you'll love it!
It is the flared windshield, not tented. It makes a nice difference. This was the third Indian I bought from Fort Worth dealer, so I used the loyalty reward to get this upgrade. I think otherwise, it would have been a couple hundred dollars more than the "standard" windshield I had on my previous Springfield. Read more
