It's an amazing deal! Perhaps it was a bit confusing but the rate I mentioned did not include tax or the resorts fees which they do have@@michaelgutman4910
I can't believe that I found a review of my favorite vegas hotel. I have stayed at gold coast 6 times and I have enjoyed each stay. Thank you for the review.
It's such a gem! Thank you for watching. I'll have another stay at a different hotel next week. Another Boyd property. I'm excited to see if it's as good as this one!
Great Review! It looks like they renovated the rooms slightly since I last been there many years ago. I agree that Ping Pang Pong is so good that it is a locals favorite for a reason. I also recommend Cornerstone as well, very good value without diminishing quality and not overpriced like many other steakhouses. Thanks again for highlighting Gold Coast Casino!
Thank you so much! Cornerstone is good! I've tried it a couple years back. I'll be staying at another Boyd Gaming property next week. Stay tuned for that😊
I’ve never been inside this place so I’m grateful for the video! That wonton soup looks so yummy! Might have to stop in for some bingo and soup :) glad you had a nice time!
I love the Gold Coast for so many reasons! You don't have the noise and what goes on on the strip. It's close enough when you do want to go to the strip. I miss their shuttle bus which used to go to Orleans and the Fashion Mall / strip. The Cornerstone bar has great Happy Hour specials and super friendly bar tenders! The Cornerstone Steak House is fabulous with monthly specials. Did you know that comped rooms do not get charged resort fees! They do add up in other Vegas resorts on top of parking fees, not at Gold Coast! This is one of the great well kept secrets that is patron friendly and continues to be my favorite place to stay. Sure it's an older place but they do take care of it. I've stayed on the strip and some of the casino resorts should be condemned in my eyes. One of my favorite things, be it so minor, is there is an actual window that opens in the shower allowing fresh air in and a view out towards the strip.
I did know comped rooms do not pay Resort fees!🥳 I always tell people to play with a Players Card if they're going to gamble. Funny, I noticed that small window in the bathroom as well and liked having it there. You never see that in any other hotel! Thank you for watching!
I always get scared when I hear the name Vegas. Surprisingly, the prices are very reasonable; from rooms to food. Thanks for helping me conquer my fears
I’ve stayed the at least 5 or 6 times. The pool was so warm it was like a bathtub. I stopped staying when they took out coffee shop and replaced it with TGIF. Java Vegas used to be Seattles Best.
@@InandOutofVegas Agree. They are taking everything that made Las Vegas great away. Change Booths, the Paper Boards in the Race Books, now I see they are phasing out dealers with these Bubble and Stadium games as they are called.
Always liked this hotel. Used to walk over from the Rio. At the time there was no Palms Hotel. My wife didn't like this place as much as the Rio. Looks like the Java Shop is a Starbucks. The Bellagio? Go to Sam's Town. They are also owned by the Boyd Group who owns the Gold Coast.
@@InandOutofVegas Never said Bellagio was a Boyd Group Hotel. It was a Wynn Hotel then he sold all of his holdings to MGM. Then he bought the Dessert Inn and built the Wynn and Encore Hotels.
I'm a fan of Gold Coast and am there often especially because it's closer to where I live. But if you're looking for mellow and quiet, I'd say Sam's Town between the two. 😊
Off the strip, close to everything, cheaper room ( though remodled) and food options, Palms & Rio across the street, Coffee place, restaurant all good but cheaper..❤🙏🇺🇸
@@InandOutofVegas I am so glad, I watched this video. I had the hardest time, finding reasonable rates at the end of October 2023. I seen other vloggers rave about this place and I decided to stay on the 24th for one night the go to MGM till Friday. If my stay, goes most definitely will stay the entire time at Gold Coast for sure.❤️😀👍
Always good to check with Gold Coast about the fridge before you go to make sure nothing has changed😊I was happy here plus I always seem to win when I play poker!🤭Let me know how your stay goes! Enjoy@@mangopilar
They have a menu outside the restaurant, but it doesn't list prices. I did however eat at Cornerstone Steakhouse in another video and listed the prices of the food I ate. It's the Executive Suite Tour at Gold Coast video. It has a timestamp for the Steakhouse: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-g5rrdMYeDvw.html
Even though I made my reservation months in advance, I arrived late so I got one of the last rooms available, right by the loading dock. I didn't sleep a wink I complained vehemently, but that's the only time. I had a problem staying there many times..
Actually this Casino always is so busy! I intentionally film at very slow hours, like early early mornings, so I don't have issues with people walking in the video😊Happy 2024!
@@InandOutofVegasI drive a car so it doesn't matter. Forgot to mention if you drive a block the other way, there's plenty of conventional places to eat, Sonic a Circle K , the location couldn't be more perfect! ❤🙏🇺🇸
Is there a bus going to Gold Coast? I am disabeled and not allowed to drive. I can only walk short distances. Really would love to play bingo there, so I'd have to take a bus.
I'm not too familiar with the bus routes however I think Gold Coast could tell you if there are busses or even shuttles. Here's their number: +18884026278
What variety? Noodles, Ping Pang Pong, Subway, TGIF. Noodles-soup. Ping Pang Pong-Chinese selections. Subway-it's a Subway. TGIF-the foods not really that good. The Orleans has a larger variety of food. I stayed at Gold Coast, but drove to the Orleans for a meal. Much better selection to choose from.
