You are so blessed to be alive. That could have gone so many ways. I’m sure you realize that. I believe God has a plan and a purpose for your life. I had not been following you this just came up on my feed. I’m going to subscribe because your story is one of inspiration to me and I’m sure many others. I am 47 and the last 7 + years have been nothing but one tragedy after another. I have had one putty party after another but after watching your story I feel inspired to stop all that. I too was injured in 2010 in Hawaii while surfing and injured my back and became a para t10. I can relate to your story also being in shape and fully active in my prime years but had to push carry on and continued my life. Thanks for sharing your story.

I have severe nerve damage and can no longer enjoy running and dancing. I realized how much I took 4 granted. i'm T-9 para incomplete from a 57 Ford, crash, the dash is steel in that year.. No one knows me as a para, i'm just a guy with a cane! The first diagnosis name was what they called it , in the 60's. Upper motor neuron lesion thoracic ninth vertebra (UMNL T-9) is how they describe it now. Thanks for sharing your story, that takes courage and also conveys the dangers of the Ocean..Sorry about that accident and to happen at home too, that's rough. Keep good positive thoughts, spinal cord injury could see some much waited for advances tech advances.🤞 i'm in the electronics field...maybe interface computer to spinal cord is what i think will be possible .

WOW! That's sound crazy! I. Saying that because it seems like the action of running towards the beach water and hitting the sand would cause that much damage. Im thankful for this handsome young man sharing this story..... It makes me appreciate what I'm dealing with and I'm trying not to complain anymore about my personal "StUFF" that I feel ain't fair in my life .

Damn, homie...... I think we've all had passing thoughts of being confined to a wheelchair (as I'm sure you probably had before your accident) but you're actually living it. I mean it's not the end of the world but still, just in a split second and your whole life changes. Sometimes we don't realize how fragile life actually is until shit hits the fan, that's human nature I suppose, taking things for granted.
