thing is it IS different, they are friends so will see each other all the time, possibly every day, hang out together with Max etc. normally it's a random guy (or girl) you see, you 'make your shot' and then you, hopefully, never have to see them again when they shoot you down. but falling in love with a friend (or a friend of a friend) is a lot harder and a totally different dynamic and can take some work to get over but best way to get over one guy, is get under another guy ;)

I just want to say: imagine a gay guy reacting like he did if a girl tried to kiss him. Yeah. Did you get that? It's not simple rejection, he pointed out "I'm not gay" like it's something to be ashamed of, and I find it a little omophobic. One LGBT person would never say "Dude, I'm not straight" and then run away like that, like it's so offensive to assume that someone's straight.
