Through my experience of hatching these, I’d be very careful going up to them as much as possible, the colour change is to do with camouflage as they can see you, and they are highly susceptible to stress related deaths! Also I would hold off transferring them until they are a little older (again stress related) but awesome video!

I think the success you’ve had with the cuttlefish might be the larger more stable system. If you do choose to set up a smaller tank, maybe leave a couple in the breeder net as a control. Great stuff!

I say keep them in a smaller area until you know for sure that they are eating. Then transfer them to a slightly bigger one. I had a breeding pair of Maroon clowns that had 3 clutches of eggs before I got it figured out and how to get them to survive. The first time I had no idea what happened I looked over and saw things floating around in my 125 gallon. Needless to say I couldn't save those. The second time I was more prepared and took the rock out and put it in a 10 gallon. They hatched and the brine shrimp were actually to big and I couldn't get them to eat or they choked on them. The third time I had a separate tank I raised my own brine and as soon as the brine hatched they were small enough to get eaten. I got about 20 out of hundreds to survive and it was so much heartbreaking work I ended up giving my breeding pair to a friend with my brine set up and I keep 2 of the babies, if you can get them to eat that's half the battle. I know it would be more fun to see them through a clear box but what’s important is that they survive and it’s really hard to be successful with baby cuttlefish so if it where me, I wouldn’t mess with them at all right now. You have them in a happy place that’s working for them and even the smallest change can and probably will kill them. So awesome that you found just the right balance! Super cool that we get to watch too❤

How exciting! So happy for you! I think a tank for them might be a good thing...maybe better than the Tiny Tim set up since they're so finicky? On the other hand, maybe leave them be for the time being since the mesh enclosure is working so far? (other than the camera lens not knowing what to focus on, pitfall of digital it seems)

😮😮😮😮😮😮😮No no no no don’t move the cuttlefish, they are so sensitive that any little unbalance from the water that they’re in right now that’s different, they can die, trust me I know this, do not move the baby cuttlefish fish out of that aquarium were they came from and they will die, they’re that sensitive because they’re very young, any different fluctuation in the water will kill them easy, you can move the adults around or the bigger ones once they get bigger but when your a new born cuttlefish baby the babies are super sensitive,give it 2 weeks then you can move them knowingly it’ll be ok,don’t move them😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮 congratulations on your cuttlefish, not too many people it doesn’t matter if you’re professional or not can keep those things alive when they’re babies🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Separate tank for the cuttlefish AND the new Angler fish in another set-up would be grand.

I wouldn't move them to a different tank for a month, at least. They are extremely susceptible to stress for the first month or two. If you do get a smaller tank for them, transfer the water and as much of the sand from the tank they are already in into the new tank to keep the stress to a minimum, I would also make sure when transferring them that the cage they are in stays completely full of water.

I think you should just leave them there & in that container. They are doing so well there... I believe if you move them they might die. They are very fragile....just be patient & let them be. Love your videos!

Definitely not the small clear tanks, surely that will restrict the flow. Personally I’d leave them where they are to grow a little, as they are so small. You wouldn’t want issues with them swinging to close to a pump

I will leave the cuddle Fish in there because they’re so delicate right now I would only move them when I get a little bit bigger but I think moving them will be too much for them

Keep them just like that till they get bigger then move them

I want to keep them in that net of material until they get a little bit until they get into a clear crawfish season and they will swim right out of how you got two in the neck area and the two through the Platinum go in that small in that tank right probably if I want to see him eat or nothing in this case you have to let him get before you take them out of that material

That would have been better if they were a little bit bigger than that right now with them being babies you don't want to take that risk of taking them out of that water right now and putting them into a different fish tank with different water parameters you should wait until they get bigger before you get angler for Annette wait until the Cuttlefish just get bigger before you do anything with or or frogfish
