My Street Fighter 6 DLC Wishlist 

I get the heavy demand for any SF3 character to comeback. It was strange that there was NO character that came back that originated from SF3, not even one on the Season 1 drops. Makes me believe Capcom may have some plans for next year since it will be the 25th anniversary of Third Strike. Makoto is my #1 pick for a character return.

I spent seven years hoping that makoto would be in the "next season" and she never was. I don't know if I'm ready for the heartache of doing that another 7 years, but I don't think I can stop myself I want her back so bad

Makoto’s dash was already insane. I can’t even begin imagine how fast her DR would be.

Sean fits the sf6 vibes so well. Necro would be cool and so would Remy for me. I also would like Rufus or el fuerte

I want to see Dan and Sean come back and Dan is teaching Sean saikyo after truly realizing it’s potential and becoming more powerful than ever.

Well this is my top 10 for the nostalgia DLC pack: 10. Crimson viper, 9.Eleven, 8.makoto, 7. El fuerte, 6. Sakura, 5.Cody, 4.Elena, 3. Sagat, 2. Dudley and 1. Fei long

I agree so much with this list! For me... I would love to see Eagle from the Alpha series, Batsu or even Akira again from Rival Schools, Makoto, and Sean! There's more but those are definitely the big ones. Great list straight up!

necro NEEDS to come back for sf6, he was such a unique character that could've been expanded upon but they just left him in sf3 :(

I'd say my favorites to return would be: SF3 - Necro, Sean, and Makoto Alpha - R Mika, Dan, and Sodom SF4 - El Fuerte, C Viper, and Seth SFV - Menat, Laura, and Falke I want more from each, but those are like my top 3 from each series.

ibuki is my favorite sf character of all time, i really want her in sf6 so badly

1:49 Haggar was also in Slam Masters series which is his first fighting game appearance outside MVC3 and FF Revenge.

You know, my two most wanted- Ibuki and Remy, may have been put into honorable mentions… but that’s fine, because I’m just SO happy that somebody finally acknowledged Remy as something more than just “French Guile”. I love playing him because he repurposes Guile’s tools in a more aggressive way, ESPECIALLY if you’re skilled at charge partitioning. On top of that he’s able to have his low and high Light of Virtues / projectiles on screen at the same time, and I remember how satisfied I was when I got good enough at charge inputs to consistently keep up that projectile pressure before dashing in. He can juggle with his rising rage flash / flash kick off his neutral grab in the corner which is also cool- and his big arsenal of anti airs would feel a lot more viable given the lack of air parries. Not to mention Cold Blue Kick, which is just such a fun move. If you space it right you can make it safe on block, and of course it can be a good jumpscare to people who don’t know the matchup. I am a massive Ibuki fan, she is my favorite fighting game character and I hope she gets her old moves back, but damn. Remy is definitely up there for me. He’s so fun. I just think he’d be more fun where he gets less completely shut down by the games mechanics. Sorry about the ramble! I was just happy to see that silly little French goober pop up here lol

I'd personally like to see Rufus or Necro return. I get why people aren't too fond of Rufus, but I think he's cool and funny. The dude's drive for developing his fighting style is very admirable and I find him fun to use from time to time. It would also be interesting to see him come back for this game in particular with the place Ken is at now with Rufus's pretty one-sided rivalry he had with him. I feel like Necro is a bit of an overlooked character. He is one of the more interesting characters to come out of the game, story-wise and gameplay-wise IMO. I'd like to see how he'd be developed if he were to return in SF6. Maybe meeting Dhalsim and building upon his realization of using his abilities to protect others. Also, his juggles are sick.

I'd like to see Capcom do what NRS with their newer games; take a relativity niche or unpopular character and revamp them with a second chance to connect with the audience. Characters like Remy, Sodom, Gouken, and Maki would really benefit from this.

I really hope they prioritize characters that haven't had a return appearance. I know a lot of them are gonna be whitebread picks that we all expect already, but I'd like to see characters like Necro, Hakan, Fuerte, Abel, Remy, Geki, etc. and a good amount of new characters too

(My opinion on the list) 10. Cody- Yes. 9. Crimson Viper- Yes. 8. Sodom- I wouldn't mind him but I also wouldn't feel bad, if he didn't make it. 7. Sean- Laura gets priority over him. Maybe Sean could get in later? 6. Twelve- Unnecessary character. 5. Hugo- Yes and why not Poison as well? 4.1/4.2. G/Q- G? I wouldn't mind him. Q? Yes... and no, I prefer for Q to stay mysterious. 3. Makoto- Yes. 2. Urien- Yes and why not Gill (Nerfed Resurrection, hopefully) and Kolin? 1. Dan- Yes. (Mentions) Sakura- Yes. Gouken- I enjoyed him in SF4, but for the sake of the story, I don't want him to come back. Sagat- Why not? Adon- I don't mind him but it wouldn't bother me if he didn't make it. Alex- Yes. Dudley- Yes. Remy- I can live without him. Rainbow Mika- Sure. Hakan- No, thank you. Not a fan of his design and his oil wrestling style makes me uncomfortable. Elena- Yes. Fei Long- Yes. Ibuki- Only if she plays like she did in SF3/SF4.

SF 6 puts its legacy up front. This way Final Fight and 3rd Strike Characters have the highest chance reentering the franchise!

With you on "the other shotos", but I'd also suggest the other Dolls. At least Juli and Decapre, with their divergent movesets and personalities from Cammy. And with Decapre as a more morally ambiguous user of Psycho Power. Necro and Twelve are near the top of my list, as well. Round out my ten with Dudley, Ibuki, Makoto, and Elena.

Give me Dudley and Nash!! Nash has always been a huge favorite of mine and I thought his kit in SFV was unique and super fun!!

Id love to see Fei Long back, Dan Hibiki, and maybe even Gen...but probably not since he probably ded after Akuma's SFV character story

If they put in Sodom, they could give him katanas and a different theme in modern mode like they did with X-ISM Sodom in Alpha 3.

Giving Dan an RNG factor as a patch for his infinite was great and I think leaning more into RNG as Dan’s core mechanic/gimmick in SF6 would be really interesting.

Bruh, I don't even care for Sodom, but given how prevalent the Mad Gear Gang is in World Tour, why not bring back the one MG member that hasn't gotten any shine since the Alpha days? We can also see if his Japanese improved over the years, lol. Makoto makes a lot of sense given the nature of World Tour mode. Have the Avatar learn about how the Rikodan dojo has exploded in members over the years thanks to it's master challenging and beating other dojo masters. Then once they meet, Makoto is all too eager to take on another student. It writes itself!

Cody and Sakura are the main characters I want as DLC. Also agree Viper is weirdly underrated when people talk about 4, I wonder if it is because was so hard to play so not as common compared to Juri so people only think of Juri with SF4 new comers or something. Non FGC people that played vanilla SF4 all thought she was really cool and she even got in MvC3

I got Dee Jay and Akuma in SF6, my 2 favorite characters. So I honestly am content as it is. But any of the characters on this list returning would be cool, especially Dan.

Awesome list hopefully dan makes it in its not street fighter without him My character choices would be Lucia/maki it be cool to see these 2 hit the streets lucia making sure no one is causing trouble while maki seeing if Kimberly is bringing honor to the bushin ryuu name. Alex it be nice to see him and luke both main characters interact and learning their encounters from ryu And see whats going on after his battle from gill Menat/rose: rose might still want to save the world from the big disaster seeing jp as a potential world ender like she did with gill and G or menat checking on jp ,ed and ryu more grown and control of her powers still a bit clumsy and immature A rival schools character batsu roy tiffany akira hinata edge natsu daigo any of them would be great to see represent the series and see their journey after rival schools 1 and 2 or project justice Sean and Laura it be nice to see these 2 return sean doing his best to put his training from ken to good use but also wanting to help ken while laura still trying to spread the word of the matsuada fighting style and helping sean with kens problem Elena would be great to see and with level her attack could be healing so it can't be abused G i saw g in the trailers in posters it be nice to see what hes been up to and if he can go toe to toe with jp R mika zangief has mentioned her a few times it be nice to see her get in a fan fight with marisa for zangief and make his ending canon

i would be happy with any of your picks coming a really good list. my personal top 3 is definitely karin, dudley and cody though i especially want karin she is so fun to play in both alpha and sf5 she was my main in both. dudley is my street fighter 3 main and cody is my main together with ibuki in sf4. i would also love menat, lucia, necro, dan, sakura, ibuki, hugo and probably more that i didn't mention and in terms of new characters i would love too see li-fen playable she was adorable in story mode and mike haggar he's just bad ass.

Sean, Sakura, Sagat, Alex, & Dan. I also want Evil Ryu, but I'm not gonna cross my fingers since Ryu is no longer affected by the Satsui no Hado. I wouldn't mind Violent Ken since Ken has hit rock bottom.

Fei Long really need to come back and i was really surprised that none of Final Fight character not available day one since the game use Metro City in World Tour

One thing that truly sucks in my opinion is world tour slowing down the rollout of new dlc characters. I personally think it would be best if they stopped supporting it and actually gave us more costumes instead...

Am just surprised with what was season 1 picks tbh. Cant believe Sagat wasn't in base as well already, I feel like he's such a staple character. Makes it a bit more annoying as well that season 1 introduces a new comer as well, save the new comers for later waves. SF5 first dlc wave didn't have any newcomers and I think it helped it develop a more recognisable roster quicker.

personally, it's weird to not have the boss characters from 2. at least balrog, vega, and sagat. sagat especially given how hes tied with ryu ever since the first street fighter. though knowing m. bison he very likely is alive as he dies every other entry only to come back.

I think Dan actually is coming soon. There’s an NPC added with Rashid that has his moves. They wouldn’t program the actual moves in and just leave the character behind.

I'd be happy for any Third Strike or Rival Schools character to appear. I'd like to see a grown up Batsu, Akira or Daigo. I'd like to see how Dudley, Makoto, or Alex have evolved since Third Strike.

So glad someone said Sodom, he's complete wacky garbage but those are the best characters to bring back and put a fresh coat of paint on. Also I know it wasn't really the point of the video but I just want new characters as DLC, every newcomer in 6 is a knock out of the park and AKI is the only real interesting one to me in year 1.

Personally the characters that I liked in the old games and that I would like to see come back (afterwards I am of course very open to seeing all new characters) are Cody (it was my main in SF4), Urien (my main in SF3), Elena, Necro, Dudley, Makoto, Oro, Hakan (I found his fighting style funny), Alex, Gill and why not Twelve (if they manage to make him strong)

Very good list, I agree with every single pick, even the honorable mentions. The only characters I would add to it are Oro, Necro, Gill, El Fuerte, Rufus, Poison, Charlie, and Yang/Yun (Both or just Yun). I wouldn't be mad to see Ingrid, Karin, Rolento, Eagle, Gen, Seth, Vega, Balrog, M. Bison, or Rose come back though. Only characters I really don't want to come back are Oni, Violent Ken, and Evil Ryu. I don't like the whole 'different timeline' trope for these kinds of characters, instead, make them costumes.

Im waiting patiently for them to add a vsav character (its the closest thing to a new darkstalkers game were gonna get)
