I switched after a decade on android. Never regreted it once. All of this is just silly stuff that wont affect your everyday use. Plus there are plenty of useful features limited to IOS that you wont find on Android. No busy person with 10 to do things on daily basis has enough time to customize their phone and move icons around.
@@TheNishantGi iphone is too simple and boring. Its always late with features. Thank god they have usb c now, but thats it. I wonder which feature they will introduce next and announce it as "new tech" even though android has it for years before them. Now that s24 ultra is here I wonder how apple is gonna catch up with AI features. Oh and not to mention they have anti reflective screen now. I have iphone 14 pro max but I am switching to s24 ultra because its so much worth it for its price. iPhone 15 pro max just didnt convince me to stay with them. Again, iPhones are too boring and simple. I can have so much more for the same price with android.
While that feature is nice to have. Videos aren’t meant to be paused and then resumed. You stop the current one and start shooting another. It’s the same reason no actual cameras also have a pause button. Only start and stop
Glad to see that there are people around who just don't go for following trends, or any paranoid paradigm of so called brand, but who actually see and value the things according to the features and ease which they offers.
Yeah but Apple phones also have good quality and don't go bust after a few years like Samsung. I also noticed the base Samsung S series is slightly more expensive than Apple iphone, so that's another plus for Apple. Although mobiscrub's points here are absolutely valid.
@@niranjanpandit6497 You really have no idea what you're talking about because I have and many people used Samsung and Oneplus phones for 5 yr's and what quality you're talking about? Seriously? Your iPhone is half Samsung phone already with Screen, RAM NVME from Samsung, Modem from Qualcomm, Even most of the new features are copied from Android. Lol and when you break your iPhone? That's the best part when you realize even the flagship Samsung phone repairs under half of the cost. Apple repair's costs 2X+
@@niranjanpandit6497 get out of 2015 my bro and open your eyes...if you think samsung flagshipa have less quality than iphones then you are livin' in a fools paradise
This is an amazing video! The funny part is, a while ago I used to think that the IPhone was easier to use for most people. But I found out nowadays, that's the complete opposite in most cases. There have been a few when someone asked me to help them to do something on their iPhone! 😂 😂
I agree, when I switched to iPad from my Samsung tablet I quickly began to notice the small differences between it and my Samsung phone I'm currently using.
This is so on point with the issues that people face with the iPhone and more so that nobody ever talks about these issues. Glad that you're spreading awareness behind this crazy hype of owning an "iPhone".
* Android - upto 240w charger. * iphone - What is Watt ? We earn more than Chinese. We sell 20w charger seperately for Rs 2,000. 😀😀 * iphone : Same old notch ( now modified as "Dynamic island" ) , no charger in box, no 3.5 mm audio jack, no FM radio, no expandable memory card slot, one sim + one e-sim, usb type 'C' charging port only in latest 15 series from September 2023, only 60hz display in non pro iPhone 15 models. 🤔🤔 But, iphone is the best. 😀😀
I know right, my friend joked about me buying my s24 ultra and asked when I was going to move up to a real phone, I laughed so hard. I listed around five items that were deal breakers and I think I overwhelmed him, I don't think iOS users have a clue what they're missing in the easeability of use.
@@sunilnathani3924I like Chinese Android Smartphones (except for Xiaomi because MIUI can be hard and buggy to use, same thing I can say for Redmi and POCO). I use a OnePlus Nord N30, one day I will upgrade to a Chinese flagship-level phone (Probably a Realme GT series phone) or a upper-class mid-tier phone.
You've just described the series of many mini irritations that make me unable to ever use an iPhone as anything but a second back up device. It makes everything difficult. While it's features are just a nice to have
What about apple keyboard that won't allow you to have the numbers row on top of the letters. And no comma or period buttons on the first page either. It's a struggle to type text.
This! Whenever my uncle asks me to do anything on his iPhone for him, I dread the fact that the keyboard doesn't have a numbers row, doesn't have punctuation on the first page, doesn't seem to save things like frequently used email addresses so you have to type the same long ass email with numbers again and again if something in the setup goes wrong😑 did I forget it doesn't have a numbers row... And the worst, no bloody dedicated BACK BUTTON 🙆♀️ If you gift me an iPhone, I'll take it and sell it the very next day...
iPhone is nothing but an expensive crap with an addictive fan base. The fact that iPhones can't use fast charging and super fast charging technology is just 1980. Who charges phone for 2 hours in 2024?
At least it can give instant notifications unlike android especially Samsung who kills background apps when phone is kept idle. One of the worst product I bought was S23. Can’t even do the basic function.
@@demiz It's not because of that... Use a proper Iphone not 2nd hand old from your local area.... You will Understand why Iphone is the most popular flagship phone....
Agree that most of these issues are annoying. But the two biggest problems are: 1. You don't have a good keyboard as in Android. Even Swiftkey or Gboard are far away from the same experience from Android. 2. The most stupid thing in iOS: in some apps you don't have the option to select all in a text. Once I had a 50 pages document to copy to clipboard (which is one of these biggest problems) and I had to send it to a Android to select all, copy, past on Word and send it back to iOS. My other option was select line by line for all 50 pages.
I have a vanilla iphone 15 and my new S24 Ultra violet. What I hate with iOS is the back functionality. I can only swipe from the left side of the screen to go back. The problem is that sometimes I have to tap certain options at the very top to go back further. And this will depend on what app you are using. So in terms of consistency, it all differs on what app is in use. With Android, you can go back either left or right side, regardless of what app you are using.
Thanks a lot for saving my money!! I was about to book iPhone 15 after much hesitation but this was an eye opener. Phones should make our lives easy and not complicate in the name of security. Appreciate your efforts and being true. Keep going!!!
Great video! Loved all the funny little clips popping up. Hard to believe there are still so many loyal members of the iCult. Even worse, there are still a lot of reviewers - including some very big names - who continue to hold iPhone as their gold standard. Glad to see there are still some who are not on the iBandwagon. Keep making these videos and telling the truth!
I had been an Android user and developer for around 13 years now and I used to hate Iphones and advocated against it on the basis of features. Recently I was up for an upgrade and wanted a change as all Androids are similar. I switched to an Iphone, while the above points are valid and there are a lot of bugs. The little things like the really fast shutter speed and the call quality / promptness ( answer a call on android and quickly talk there is a slight delay on Android vs instantananeous on Iphone), haptics, loudness etc makes a difference. Its like I dont have to worry about a 1000 features. I may not buy another Iphone as it makes no sense to my logical mind, I still love my Iphone as it does the little things really well. Plus the value of an Iphone lasts longer, S21 Ultra and S22 Ultra are forgotten phones but an Iphone 12 is still sought after. Its like owning a Mercedes, no matter how old the Merc its still a Merc which is good for resale value. From a feature standpoint Android wins anyday.
I respect your opinion and your experience. What i'm gonna say is that it can keep depending on the work you do and the reason you use your phone. That's why we have so many options phone wise.I respect the problems you had and id say that some of the problems you mentioned don't bother me as much they bother you and some of them are valid for me. But for me who my priorities are video and photos, normal browsing and texting and media consumption the iphone works for me. Now that dont mean its the best phone ever. No phone for me is the most perfect neither the Samsung,Xiaomi,Apple or any phones. But for my use between me and the people i talk to the iphone is the more consistent for me. Everyone is different and if someone judges you cause of the phone you have then too bad for em. Fanboys of both sides will always argue.Buy the phone that works for you and your needs and not because Iphone makes you look better or the Samsung does. Always do and get things for you. Not others.
You go dey explain taya.... Blablabla it's the iPhone users who normally acts like having iPhone means you've made it in life. 😂😂. They actually think they are better than anyone using a different phone. It's about time we left them know how dumb they are. They even think using Samsung means you are Broke 😢... Really!! 😂😂
For me this is one of the best features of Google keyboard! I appreciate the Android clipboard's ability to copy and paste multiple words seamlessly, preserving the entire selection. Additionally, the convenience of having a dedicated number row at the top enhances the typing experience, eliminating the need to toggle between sections when entering numbers with spaces. This streamlined functionality contributes to a more efficient and user-friendly interface compared to certain alternatives. Unlike iPhone's keyboard, Android's keyboard maintains its position on the number row even when entering numbers with spaces. This eliminates the frustration of constantly switching back to the alphabet section, providing a smoother and more convenient typing experience.
lack of proper multitasking is still a bummer for me. Why should I open the Google Photos app and keep the screen running just for backup? The same goes for Maps, RU-vid, Drive, Dropbox, etc. Notifications are still a mess. Android introduced the notification categories years back and some apps are yet to implement this because they are waiting for Apple to implement it. Notifications from chat apps are not prioritised (Android keeps them at the top always and groups them at an app level).
crApple is definitely the worst at notifications. I dread pulling down my notifications panel every time cause none of it makes any sense. I painfully miss my S23’s notifications management style. I’m convinced multi-tasking will never come to iPhone as it’ll be too complicated for the 99% of the iPhone user base who just want to scroll through TicTacs all day in their little worlds. Whenever I tell an iPhone user about multitasking they’re like, “Yeah, I dont care”… wish people tried droids more to get a taste of the better life…
Well for most people the multi tasking is using RU-vid with calculator or a picture in split screen because other things cane be done by switching apps@@latingringo89
Even downloads stop in background on chrome. Only safari can do background downloads. WTH. I am so glad to switch back to Android and never going back now.
@@vishalpagey8634 yes. For someone reason only Apple's first party apps are allowed this type of freedom to allow background activity. This is why it gets that great battery life on standby since barring app notifications, it doesn't allow the app to do any kind of background activity.
Apple makes the experience of using non apple services on their devices horrible to give the illusion of excellence with their alternative in-house options, thereby making other companies and products look bad by comparison. Irritating but clever. Apple is like that perfect villain that's just wicked for wickedness sake. 😅
Every year I just wait to watch one video that I like the most from this channel and that is the struggles that any Android user will eventually face when he/she switches to an iPhone. This is like a yearly summary of how well the iPhone can improve in terms of the user experience of iOS. There are so many minor features just like you said that I hate about an iPhone, which makes me think that iPhones aren't for me still in 2024. I also have to say that nothing much has changed since your last video from 2022. One of the major features that I have missed about an iPhone for a long time now is that it still doesn't have call recording by default, See I get it, in some countries call recording isn't considered legal but most countries do and in our country call recordings are still legal enough, so at least this feature could be provided to the countries where it is legal. Just like how they can provide a fully functional Apple Pay in some countries and give another version of the same app which is like a ticket collecting app for some countries. I am still wondering why they can't be implemented for this one crucial feature.
You're going to be waiting for a long time. Apple doesn't make the phone for it's customer base they primarily make it for profit and as long as they have these die hard Apple fan boys they'll keep selling outdated tech for more and laugh all the way to the bank.
You definitely said everything I’m going through as a first time iPhone user on the 15pro. It’s smooth and the cameras are great but yeah maybe that’s it! Lol I’ll hang on for a bit and see.
Subscribed because you are spitting facts. I purchased an iPhone 14 Pro Max last year listening to all the people that once you will use it, you will never go back and boy do i regret it, as you already mentioned it has so many flaws but when i try to tell in my circle that these are the reasons i am going to switch back, to android, these stupid isheeps treat me like i said something bad about them and it hurts their EGO. And they ask me to accept it because iphone is the best (logic can go down the drain).
The same thing happened to me, but with an M1 Mac instead of an iPhone. People and especially reviewers made it seem like the best laptop ever. Except, it's far from it: the app ecosystem on macOS is way more limited compared to Windows, and macOS has some annoying (at least in my case) design inconsistencies, but the biggest offender is choppy scrolling, due to a macOS bug that apple refuses to fix, a €1000+ laptop runs like a cheap €500 Windows laptop. I'll never get another mac again. Don't trust reviewers or people when they call macbooks the best in the business
I agree with all parts except the last one that's where iphone smashes all.. best Backups in the game.. one tap and on my new iphone everything is back and even apps are saved in the state I left them.. for Android it's not. Horrible backup solutions to even no solutions... Cheers
Exactly. Then in a state of shock you ask yourself, "Really? Is this what people drive crazy? What they see in this? Are they dumb or what?". I tried to switch two times, but still I'm hanging with Samsung. When we speak 'bout technology nowadays, Samsung phones are far way better than iPhone's olded but good tech from 2012/14. I know that build quality is lil bit better on iPhone, but at the end, everything goes to our own preferences. Android users are enjoyin' in a better and more develped tech by pushing the limits with innovations and features, while iPhone users are enjoyin' in lil better quality and longer support just by upgrading and updating a 10 years older tech beneath the hood. But many things 'bout this rivalty will change in the next 10-15 years. If Samsung want's to stay no.1 phone in the entire world, they must have build quality like iPhone have. On the other side, if iPhone want's to fully shine once again, they must have tech innovations and advanced features like AOS and Samsung have.
@sodabutnofizz1294 You know Microsoft 365 works on the original Pixel from 2016 and not on the Iphone 7 because it was cut off software support. Wait till Ios18 comes out and you see how obsolete the iphone X is. Without the latest software a lot changes unlike android where you can install custom Roms or sideload mod apps
I'm not going to lie. I switched from apple to getting an android for the first time in my life..... and I really love this s24 ultra. It took a few days to get used to the interface, but the amount of stuff you can do is truly amazing, especially the customization. I do dislike that samsung do not have text reader and they really need to add that feature. Other then that I don't see me switching back. I plan on upgrading next year to the fold.
Great video. Thank you for calling out these stubborn iPhone features which Apple CAN change but refuses to. Millions around the world are waking up to the benefits of Android and the frustrating limitations of Apple and coming out like the Israelites came out of the bondage of Egypt! Yes, the grass not only looks greener outside Apple's walled garden, but it really is so.
There are few disagreements such as I do like all calls regardless of the app in my log universally but as a person with both a note 20 ultra and a 15 pro, I like both
My BIGGEST gripe is how the Photos app and Files app are not connected. Like Photos should just be a viewer and the files app the root. As a creative professional who uses iPhone for some shoots, this is so dang frustrating.
The best video on the internet to show out the flaws in the iphone 😂😂😂 And the best part of lets say you remember your close person number you need to dial the entire thing to call them, but the normal dialer shows the relevant contact with the number
My friend's husband got her an iPhone. Honestly I hated it even more while setting up a few things for her. The UI inconsitency and incompatibilites are a nightmare. 😐
The thing is, the iPhone is built to have all of those open at the same time, closing all apps on an iPhone isn't equal to that of closing all apps on an android. Although you are still right m, a close all button would still be convenient.
@@hongkong8907 Yeah, in Android, all of that apps will run in background where iOS kills/pauses it as soon as you leaves it and it doesn't matter if it's in recent apps
This! All this! It's so annoying when my clueless iPhone friends tell me "iPhone is much easier to use!" Bruh, if you've never tried Android, you have no clue! And the editing on these videos... LOVE! 🤣
Correct. They're entitled to their opinions. That's why I love tech - so many options! My beef is with those who have never even peered over the walled up Apple/iOS garden they've been living in and assert that what Apple gave them is the best there is. Is iOS easy to use? Sure, if that's all you know. It's familiar. But don't use this opinion as fact when you have never experienced anything else.@@Tripe6mafia
Another one for video as it does not have pause button, I end up recording long videos. Now if I edit the video and try to trim the length to save the storage, it still stays the same. I cant recover storage by trimming Workaround is when you trim the video save it as a new video with updated size and delete the original one
When you mentioned the issue with dialer it almost brought me to tears. I'm coming over from Android, specifically Samsung and it has been a rough transition
Thank you for this video, I thought that I'm the only who has ridiculous problems everyday with my iPhone. The dialer issues are so frustrating and stupid that sometimes is even hard to believe that at Apple nobody of their fancy technicians notices the basic problems and that they are really nonsense (maybe they just use an android phone themselves...I should try). But anyway, great video...hope that Apple finally will listen!
Even setting up different wallpapers on home and lock screen is a big task in ios, when u select one pic as lock wallpaper it automatically selects as home screen wallpaper.
not sure if it's the same with the iphone, but one of the things i hate with the ipad is that you only have one volume control for everything. i can't adjust the volume for media when i'm in a call.
I like the idea of call screen showing calls from all the apps. That way, it's easier to track any missed calls. But an option should be there to select which apps should be part of it.
That's good for people who get a few calls, I get over 50 regular calls per day so having all app calls in the call log is a nightmare, I have to scroll forever. 😢
@@MrSecretwest That's what I said.... might not be useful for you, but useful for a lot of us. And if they put an option to enable app by app then it's win win for all.
I have stopped talking Technical to an Apple User. I have personally lost quite a lot of friends trying to make them understand technology, and them getting pissed at me ending up not speaking. So someone comes up to me and say Apple is the best... I just say Yes. Because at this point of my life I need people not the Garbage they use on the daily basis.
There are things I am grateful that Apple does, and ultimately it’s just a matter of what people prioritize. I like that iPhone can automatically generate a random email address every time I sign up for a service. For most people, that might not seem particularly important. I could get frustrated trying to explain why this is important and why people should care about readily accessible obfuscation. At the end of the day, we just gotta let people enjoy what they enjoy
Go to setting > Type auto brightness (maybe not full sentence) > change it. Doesn’t need to make everything in your own way. Android and iOS is different. Let it be. I can also show where iOS is superior than Android. (I use iPhone 15 PM and A54 Samsung)
I was very exited about iPhone when it had initially launched in India. I didn't buy it because prices were way too high in India compared to US, it didnt come with microUSB port, it didn't come with dual SIM, it didn't have SD card slot. Some initial issues are addressed in iPhone 15 but I am too deep in to Android/Windows/Linux ecosystem, I don't like walled garden ecosystem of Apple. I like their hardware, I will buy their MacBook one day and put Linux on it.
great video. i am sure an iphone user can find just as many annoyances with android. still nice to know if these struggles are dealbreakers for those who wanna switch.
My biggest pain point with my iPhone (coming from Android) is the media vs phone volume. I just want to lower my media volume without needing to open the video, play it and then lower the volume. I miss android where I just touch the volume button, tap the volume pop up and be able to manually toggle my notifications, media, ringtone... etc all separately... I hate my iphone lol
Ye this is horrible on ios 😂 one of the many reasons I just can't use an iPhone any longer than a few days 😂. If the iPhone was in a vacuum then ye it's great, but for those of us who have experienced all of the flexibility of Android, ios is just horrible compared.
@@advaitghode but that shouldn't be necessary. Android have implemented it perfectly, why not do something similar and have it when you press the volume button it allows you to control all forms of volume levels in one panel? It makes SO much sense.
It's so true. Apple could make it SO much better. But they literally couldn't give a shit... Why? Because they already sell enough phones to their loyal customers who couldn't give a shit either 😂. I've tried the iPhone several times alongside my Android phone over the years and I just can't handle it. It's SO limited. The most basic of stuff is just missing. And the notifications management is still SHOCKING. Lack of customisation is horrific too, not being able to move icons anywhere on the home screen and the only solution being making blank apps or widgets... What a joke 😂 and forcing widgets and icons to have their label underneath them... We aren't all 70+ apple...we KNOW what the app icon and widget is WITHOUT THE DAMN LABEL. so glad I don't use ios 😂 😂
yeah that. After switching to Apple I often miss important messages and other notifications. And their notification history shows unrelevant notification from a week ago for some reason
The only iPhone I've ever used as my daily was iPhone 7 plus because note 7 battery issue, and i hated it, lol. I've been using note series ever since my wife uses iPhone 14 pro max, and I'm on s23 ultra.
As an iPhone’s user i can’t agree more on all of the points you have described! My only hope is iOS 18 to be a game changer for iOS in general! Thanks for the video 👍
Yep, as this is like the 484908649784907859078509th time someone have proven that iOS is not user friendly and contains a lot of fiddling, it boggles my mind that someone still can call iOS for user friendly and easier to use over Android. It just proves that none of those have ever tried Android the last decade. Android is lightyears ahead over iOS in user friendliness.
Facts they need to be able to pause while recording and that's why it's best to just have both. Even if you don't have much money, just save or buy an iphone and that could be your main or 2nd phone.
The times my phone have saved my life. Legal documents, job interview calls. The times I needed to get to a laptop to scan something or to sign something are a lot. Nevertheless, I have get it done with my Android phone (and not even a new one, a s10+) . Things I could've not resolve with the restrictions on IOS. Android is the way for me. iPhones look alluring and flawless and have exceptional hardware but the simple fact that I would have to be wondering "does iPhone let me do this?" everytime I need to do something new on my phone is just not worth it.
I like both galaxies and iPhones but I feel like this video was just a cry baby ass video. If you really use auto brightness that much just leave it on and you wouldn’t have to go into settings that much to toggle it, I have never used it and adjusting it with the drop down menu has always been the easiest. 2. Nobody deletes multiple apps everyday off your phone, yes the Samsung way is better but it’s not something you do daily. 3. With iCloud you all you do is turn on your new phone and all your stuff gets downloaded down to the your background and settings. No need for the QR code. The only thing I agree with on this video is the t9 keyboard when trying to call someone, although just searching up the contact hasn’t ever really annoyed me t9 would be way better.
This guy is just views farming. Except video pause no other feature is actually missed when stupid android doesnt even behave like a smart phone most of the time. iOS always feels 5 years ahead and makes life much easier and simple
The call log wont show more than 100 calls in iPhone. It doest have split screen , app cloning, app lock, even the gallery looks outdated without option to properly organise it
I used both i didn’t feel anything as far as i know i love the fact it doesn’t let u keep icons anywhere u want its well organized unlike android its just frikkin messsy
Androids are for techs/teens/kids/persons 30s below that has the energy to customize everything and they can do it whole day… While iPhones are for the professionals/working moms, dads, executives who has no time for designing/customizing unnecessary things. All they want is a reliable, secure, straight-to-the-point interface, no fancy designs etc. they want performance and long lasting device that is much useful for them and easy for them to operate. They use phones only for communication.
Thanks for letting this know. My friends with iPhones never talk about this just because they have already paid so much for the phone that they feel embarrassed to talk about flaws of iOS 😂
@@warlxrd5317 ironically custom ringtones are super easy to make on iPhone (I steal audio off RU-vid videos all the time to make ringtones for my GF’s Pixel), but takes some hoops to actually set them as ringtone on iPhone
Everything you mentioned is true and it can be frustrating. But I tried using Samsung last week and it just didn't feel like a premium phone. S24 ultra still has those jittery animations across the apps. That's just good enough a reason for me to not to switch to Android. But there are many more. Android auto scks to date. They don't have limited access to gallery from apps. The overall security is better on iOS. Social media apps work better on iOS. Overall iOS is a much stable and reliable os than Android. Though I would like to have the options you mentioned in this video.
The only feature i need to see which i like from iPhone is that ability to record video when you long press the shuttter button its really convinient tho...i really dont know why samsung hasnt implemented it yet
Some of the things you mentioned are kinda pointless, like who would start uninstalling apps everyday? Or the customisation part where I have never done anything of that sort, The dialing part isn't that difficult to get used to by long pressing tbh. There are some pains which are the no side button to go back, file management, music downloading, side loading(which i dont do due to viruses) and etc, but you could live without it. I have a Samsung S22 Ultra and it hasn't been so great lately, true it is very efficient, but at times I just need something that works.
But everyone knows the pros and cons of having iOS. This has always been the case for many many years that iOS feels constrained against Android; nothing new. But different people have different priorities. Its also a known fact that non-Google made apps in iOS tend to be better made than the one in Android. Apps like Instagram is better on iOS. And of course in terms of support no one touches Apple. Not just software support but actual physical store support in case you need repairs or battery change or claim warranty. Then of course there is the superior resale value that you can use for your next purchase.
I'm still confused why people are surprised about this, its been like this for a while. I mean most of these people from the looks of it aren't IOS users, they only want to look at the downsides, comparing a million android phones to an iphone. They will argue that androids have flip, fold, 120hz, 100mp, 4 cameras, big battery, cheaper, fast charge, widgets, easier to share etc. Which is true but like most Apple users really aren't bothered and its the android users that complain and stuff which is fine but like if you really don't like the device just don't buy it. Android phones are amazing the problem is there is too much choice, and don't get me wrong choice is good but too much can confuse so many consumers, and it may come as a surprise but most people aren't as tech survey as people on this channel and just want something thats popular and Instagram has fueled this by making the iPhone the ultimate Instagram Mirror pose accessory.
Never ever in my life I toggled auto brightness on or off on my android, nor did I ever transfer photos via USB, I just have everything backed up on Google photos and I just download anything I want from there, what's the point of having wifi, with paid Google Storage, If I have to transfer photos via a cable. iOS 18 brings T9 and homescreen customisation, but I still don't use it.
You can't easily change auto brightness settings because you're not meant to, since it hurts battery life. I agree that having it in accessibility settings is a bit strange though, should be under display.
