On the request of a few of you my friends, "e.g. Show us how's the Student hostel in Germany inside looks like and what any new student can get in the hostel on the first day", I made this Dorm tour video.
This video is about one of the Dorm building of my "Universitaet Stuttgart" Vaihingen Campus in my city Stuttgart Germany.
I hope you people are like this video, and can easily get a small idea from this video.

Hey, Thanks for the video. Can you please share a link to apply for dorms? When should we apply, if I want to join for Winter 2021?. Also can you please differentiate between Pffafenwalding 1, 2 and Straussacker, etc? I appreciate your help.

www.studierendenwerk-stuttgart.de/wohnen/online-bewerbung Here is the link, and it better to apply at least 6 months before the start of semester. Straussaecker halls are mostly have a "WG system" like i showed in this video and in Pffafenwalring are "shared floor" system. And offcourse, some rent amount difference.

@@MohsinKhan1 Thanks for your reply. I am joining University of Stuttgart in Winter 2021/22. I need some guidance from you. Can you please share your instagram or where I can contact you. Also, I applied 2 days ago for hostels and I put Almandering 2 on top following Straussacker 2 and 3 in the row. Is this good or I need to change? I hoping to get single room for myself

As far as hostels are concern, I would suggest, if you get any offer from studierendenwerk then just accept it because getting accommodation in Dorms are not so easy, and no need to change. Don't worry, you will get your private single room in dorms, just the difference is in WG or shared floor.

Well its hard to say the exact value because its totally depends on city to city here in Germany...But if i talk about this dorm which i showed in this video or about stuttgart city then 300 to 400 euro.

@@rohflower Thanks for this compliment....rent only includes all utility bills but you have to pay separate for internet and broadcasting fees......Yes, you can apply maybe, but sometimes you can get confirmation after uploading or showing them your admission letter... so I would suggest, apply after receiving the admission letter.

Yes sure. German language is mandatory for you, if you want stay in Germany or doing a job here. It is better if you start to learn it as early as possible.

How easily can we get into dorms considering the long waiting list?

Just try to apply as soon as possible e.g. 4 to 6 months before the start of your classes and then wait. Its depends on room availability there is no shortcut or easy way. Also try to find private accommodation outside in city for any worst case scenario.
