I always love that slifer's relevancy pops up from time to time due to the fact that his floodgate is actually pretty damn good and not to mention the new trap
@@TheGoldenRateryeah the trap is crazy when it resolves optimally but you have to have slifer in grave (hard with bystials) and like u said draws the opponent cards so even if you set it up turn 1 if they have chain able in hand effects you’re plusing them for free
My favorite part about the synchro coin flip replay is that you can see the exact moment where the synchro player decided "y'know, I'm gonna be based", right when they decided to gabu target the card guard instead of time wizard
I was the first duelist. I literally was trying to summon slider and l purposely used aluber as an ash bait because I wanted this trap to work. I’m happy.
@@husseintoufaily2424 yeah but I didn’t have the trap or slifer in grave so, I needed both traptrix and foolish to resolve to summon slifer. I can get slifer through branded fusion as well so if aluber worked they I would of been even better. I I had been playing that deck for like an hour without drawing the traps so I just wanted to use it somehow and got that craziness
I've had to deal with Slifer while playing Striker before, the trick is to actually use your power spells. Then again, I'm one of those crazies that prefers running a bunch of board breakers over low impact hand traps and remembers to put Raye in defense position when it comes back. I think I was actually on Branded Striker when I last faced Slifer, that was AGEs ago. I somehow managed to find a way to summon Albaz in Defense to fuse it off, it was hilarious.
I don't think I've ever respected a player with a board of negates more than the guy that let it ride. Win or lose, at least fun was finally had in this game.
A rare occurrence where I actually clap my hands unironically for the full negation board player. I usually loathe people opening a board like this and I can't do anything about it, but respect begets respect my dude. Shake that man's hand, respectfully! Edit: Just realized the time wizard player's name translates to "Coin Toss" and the negation board player's name is "GOTTA AGREE" The coincidence is unreal xD
I was about to say Slifer counters Drytrons since they are just 2k Atk but they are automatically Summoned in Defense mode by their effect and all you need to do is set up the monsters that can be either mode in Defense mode while Slifer is out.
The last clip had a HUGE foreshadowing, the opponent's name, the katakana in his name "コイントス" literally translates to Coin Toss, what a masterpiece movie
Honestly, the last dude with 7 negates needs to: 1) Be congratulated for their fair play; 2) Drop the list of their deck cause that shit looked like fuego
