I walked the same journey about 2 years back. I had an excellent Doctor . DR Motsehla in Castenhof life hospital in midrand. It's not an easy journey but worth it so very much. Thank you for sharing your story. This is a silent killer to a lot of us. And not much info is available, no the correct help. It's sad that good help is in major cities and via private medical care.

I've been through myomectomy in 2012, and after 2 or 3 years fibroids grew back, then another one in 2017. So be on the lookout ninja just incase they grow back.
Balance Diet helps to shrink them. Ginger, pineapple, Pawpaw, garlic, gloves,rosemary, nuts those are good for reproductive system.also just eating healthy...
@@kgabomohafe this doesn't always work. Mostly because people get to know they have them when they are already big or they are planning to have a baby and the fibroids are getting in the way.
@@malebs8332 sadly black women have more chances on having fibroids than other races, we as black women we have not been educated on food. Also it not all gynaes who are transparent with their patients about fibroids. If you are lucky enough to consult a gynae who tells you about healing foods you are blessed. About how meat increases complications on reproductive systems. About moving our bodies, and how smart our bodies are that they actually heal themselves. The dark side is when fibroids are worse or tooo big, which I support for surgery to remove them. But after you need to change your diet and move your body. Because truly speaking 97% chance of them coming back if you don't check what you intake. Not all drs are there to truly educate women on reproductive system and how to heal it they are mostly after money.

I check with my Dr more often but nomore fibroids I take the STC once in a while, I registered under someone, so l buy on stock prices, so those who need it tell me, so you can get help too. Hey Owamie.. I was also diagnosed with uterine fibroids back in 2019 when I fell pregnant for thr first time. I had no idea fibroids were, they caused me no pain, my periods were not that heavy and sometimes I had period pains, but at that time... I was used to them. I miscarried 5 months into my pregnancy because of the fibroids. I've been procasting on having them removed, I guess I am afraid of the pain. I remember when I was in high school, I had a ovarian cyst removed and I remember when I woke up post surgery, the pain was excruciating, 😭.

I paid R2000 for consultation in sunninghill with another Dr and for operation without medical aid they charged 50k for everything 😩... The pain of fibroids is something else, l live on Gen-payne 😩, some Drs also wanted to remove my womb but am happy that the Dr l went to at sunninghill net cate was helpful....
