what will you do if the iv of put is increasing and the iv of call dont fall then the put will give losses and the call price will not decay . second - if we sell short straddle and the theta increases then price of both the options will increase and we will close it in loss .

I feel this is extremely risky because in the end to close your trade you need to buy 2 CE now and the market can easily go up after going 20 percent down (correct me if I'm wrong)

If you fix your loss and then keep at it then the law of probablity will be in your favour. haan,,, beech mein tum buying mei thppe banna chahoge toh usme tumhara paisa jayega. otherwise selling is smooth way to do things, na pressure , heart attack, BP or guidiness, I guess if you are doing a 5 lakh ka selling keep a 1 % loss margin in your brain just cut the trade if you see loss at 5000. 9.20 straddle works only if the 9.20 candle have high volume second to the 9.15 so for the high volume high time to break the candle high low so time decay happen can catch premium . But if break low or high fast of 9.20 andle can give stoploss hunt so try strangle at same premium 3%away from atm.
Positional strategies are better than intraday strategies when you compare them in terms of profit, margin and psychology... Screen time is more in this. I already tried this strategy for 6 months until the margin rule came. At the end of the month, your profit will be around 4000-6500 per month per lot. That too is without guarantee ( if both sides SL hit many times you will end up in loss). Finally, never ever premiums will match at ATM strikes. It's just my analysis

You miss one factor, premium difference in each legs. That matters in premium decay. I backtest this idea before but there is no significant difference at 10 am entry.
I experimented this sometime back, the problem I faced was when the market reverses now you have two to worry. one modification I did was move both the leg's SL to the first leg's entry price.
Writing comment on 15-Nov-2022 So this strategy is like: @ 9.20, Sell PE or CE as per your view, if SL hits, sell opposite side Option type at market price, this will kill more in case of reversals from SL point.. Specially in market like 2022 when it's gap up/down almost 4 out of 5 days
In this world no one teach you how to make money.............all the person who make videos for youtube rarely can earn any money from trading, just they are earning money from selling courses......if any one really want to earn money, dont follow anyone, develop your own skill for interpretation, there are only 1% traders can earn money from intraday trading, Believe me they dont share their trading style with anyone, if they share their trading style with you although you cant earn, unless your interpretetion is correct, Believe me its a real tough world
Jagan ji, I've initiated 9:20 strategy in Banknifty and closed at 3:09 with 1% loss. Could you please tell me the stoploss for the PE in the strangle pair where PE from strangle A and CE from strangle B?
There's nothing confusing. Usually straddle sellers also buy deep OTM options to reduce margin requirements. These buy trades usually lead to small losses which is the cost for hedging
Strategies been discussed or thought with half information.. On these strategies people may or may not loose money however their money will not used for full potential. I don't agree on the margin requirement in this video, there won't be any big difference in the margin requirement even though you enter in both the legs or in one leg. Sometimes when people don't have real valuable content then they work on the existing content and change if & but's to come up with new content.. So sad.. Don't talk very vague, show the back tested results and the period of tested data to validate.. Just take this info if its useful or just ignore as I expect more quality content..
True..I always scrolling up these videos to see if anybody has something new to work upon but after watching them, i realize that, i have wasted my time here and i have better knowledge than them.. i dont understand on what basis these people make video...they make video just to increase their views, subs to make money from youtube.
Disadvantage is that this strategy will not work if market is sideways and non trending but beautifully works in trending market as per my backtesting result on opstra.Just today before seeing this vdo I tested this assume first and then trade strategy.
Kiddish strategy….even watchman working in a hedge fund or brokerage knows this…once or twice if pattern is Vshape…then forget that months whole return
It looks worse then 9:20 straddle, Because when we lose we might lose more than 9:20, because premiums are not equal if SL of small premium is hit first, we will enter bigger premium trade then if this bigger premium also hits SL, we will be losing more than straddle doers, and also miss that 10% range bound days. No Edge can be proven by this, you need to do backtesting. And entering the way you suggested by trigger price than it will be foolishness, we will be losing that extra premium you told and also the rangebound days.
Why somany videos.? No body thinks somany trading strategies. Traders require simple key parameters 3 or 4. Only naked buy options can fetch with less money around Rs 1 lac. With few indicators like Vwap, macd, Supertrend, Darvas box. No need of somany vides. inforation.
Jegan sir hopefully you are earning good amount in trading....request you not to misguide retail people with your TUGLAK strategies.. people are not worried about loosing of 5k training of your fees...after training people are loosing lakhs of rupees by following your strategies.. Very risky trade it is like selling naked options, no matter at what time you are selling. For someone who is trading at 9:17 am will enter at 9:20 when market is trending using this method than someone who is planning to watch market after 9:20 am
Jegen, genius person like you could have made better video, naked selling is always very dangerous, especially for banknifty, you could have made some hedge, may be you could some make profit by buying instead of selling, using this method
