Every birth experience is different, so don't ever let anyone try to diminish your experience or tell you that your experience wasn't real. Girl that is what the epidural is for, you do what you have to do. I had 3 kids and I have never had an epidural. But I was only in labor for 2 hours with each one.

My second child birth experience was completely natural, not an IV, no pain meds, nothing because my first birth was so horrible. I had a C-section with my first child and felt everything, the cutting of my stomach, etc. Horrible birth! So I was determined to go completely natural with my second and last child. My first child 6lb 4oz and second 9lb 8oz.

God is so good! God sustained you. With the birth of my first daughter I went to the doctor she told me that I was 3cm and to meet her at the hospital at 13:00. I went to the grocery store and made sure that my hospital bag was good. I took my shower and got dressed, went to the hospital and when I finally made it upstairs to L&D, my water broke. I was checked, I was 10cm and pushed a couple of times and out came my beautiful baby girl. My old Pastor would always say, that when a woman is in labor “ she would have one foot on a banana peel and the other slipping.” Labor is truly divinely orchestrated by God! I thank God for keeping you!!!

Epidural with my first daughter was superb . I was at a different hospital when I got the epidural with my third daughter and it was horrible .

This video just showed up in my feed. I'm excited to hear you talk about the Lord and trust in him. As a mom who had identical twins with medication, I totally understand you. If it was not for God, I know that I would not have made it. He kept me through it all, even when I was not paying attention to the fact that he gave me two names in a dream. We were not aware of there being twins in me until the first one was born, of which I was ready to sleep. God gave me the strength to push the next baby out on 2 pushes and she was born 13 minutes later. They were born premature and a little over 3 pounds, and needed nothing but regular care and prayer. I've watched them both give birth to their children without medication, but with prayer by faith in God, all of their children are thriving. My pregnancy with my son was a true miracle, but it's a long story. I'll just share the ending, God kept him in my womb with a dilated cervix in my 2nd trimester, without surgery and he is here today to tell of God's goodness. Keep trusting God and communicating with him, he's making the impossible possible.
