I lived in the Phoenix metro area for 33 years. I've probably tasted upwards of 100 Arizona wines and for a long time was not entirely too impressed with the quality. Lately there is a quality shift and investments have been made both in facilities and in talent and in understanding their specific climate and soils and what grapes grow there well.
