My take on this situation is to know that _unreleased content is not the final product_ . If you do decide to watch it, keep that information to yourself and be set up for disappointment. The way we get songs in Just Dance is that the map gets made first before the song. Music licensing seems to be the issue and my guess is that the artist for Sweet Dreams says no with it being a lore map. I don't mind leaks, but I keep that information to myself. The leaks we got for JD2024 in terms of scale is unacceptable, and there's not much the devs and Ubisoft can do about it. Also, because of this AND the big songlist leak for this game - I now do not like swans just as much as the number "29". The numbered one was primary school trauma due to the way I said the number which some kids pick on me for. That number still haunts me to this day in my adult life. One thing I will say positive about Darkest Hour is how well the team did to making an original song for a formerly scrapped map, pretty much doing the Yameen Yasar route (btw - that was originally going to be Habibi Yaeni by Orgonite). It is a bop because I love synth, but the map itself is messing my head at this point. I don't really play these lore songs much, cause I play Just Dance for the fun and the exercise, but I do LOVE the juicy lore which you won't get in Darkest Hour. If you compare it to Murder On The Dancefloor, it's practically night and day. The lore with Murder On The Dancefloor is SOOO juicy that it practically ruined the Jacklust shippers, cause THEY HAVE THE SAME DAD!? I can seriously see The Traveler be on a Playboy magazine due to his womanizer tendencies. 😂 Murder On The Dancefloor, definitely playing it often. Darkest Hour? Nope. You're going back into the scrapyard where you're meant to be belonged. I like Sweet Dreams as a song, but I can definitely see why the artist saying no. It does not work as a lore song. I am literally going to blacklist that song for good in my dance sessions. We don't talk about Bruno, and we don't talk about Darkest Hour OR Sweet Dreams.
I don’t really like the map but the real reason why we didn’t get the original song, besides licensing issues, was because of these leaks which spoil the game and just ruin the surprise. Ubisoft deserves better.
Are you paid by ubisoft to say this? Lets be honest they removed her lips just to cover the fact that the original song was supposed to be sweet dreams and even in the leake map the intro said sweet dreams
