I think you should 100% do a video blog on creating an online tarot business. It's overwhelming lol. Also maybe consider having your own website in addition to etsy? I've heard the marketing point that when someone gets something from etsy, they always say "I got it on etsy" versus "I got it from Hudson Valley Tarot" for example. It helps you create a "brand" unique to you as opposed to getting lost on the latest trend on Etsy. Just food for though. That'd be a great "episode" because that's the biggest decision lol. BTW, it sparked something in me to see the Hudson Valley association because I was born and raised in the Hudson Valley through the 90s and 00s. If I traveled back to that time as the person I grew into, I don't think I'd feel like I belonged there. So it was so welcoming for me to find you here! Thank you 😊

To pick a card at the end of your day that represents your day, and journaling about it, is an excellent idea, for learning the Tarot. I find I cannot get to my deck in the morning as I need to get my responsibilities accomplished - time is essential........so I have been picking up my cards at night, anyway. Yeah, Thanks for this video - It's fun to keep learning.

Hello! Thanks for the shoutout! I agree - I learned Tarot by journaling! I have so many filled up journals when I was first learning the cards and they even traveled with me when I moved abroad. They are a part of my Tarot history 💗💗. I loved what you said about the deck having to be beautiful. I also can't stand when someone who doesn't read creates a deck - it is often a miss (there's the rare occasion the deck may work, but oftentimes, it is a mess). I can appreciate the symbolism found in Thoth - but I, too, do not have the time for the system. RWS is my home school system and I am perfectly fine with becoming a master at it. LOL at comic book decks - loved what you had to say about it! I, too, love an illustrated pip deck. I agree on the TV show inspired decks - it's a hard "No" for me. I am so very much all about Tarot - occasionally, I'll dabble into Lenormand, but Tarot is my favorite. You know me and animal themed Tarot decks - not really a fan, but it is like you said, I am not really into animals like that. I've shared to the point of needing to set up a spoiler warning on this comment, LOL. I relate so much to everything you said this video!
