Oh, why hello there! Welcome! My name is Kenzie! This channel is a place where anybody can come, relax, chill out and watch some really fun luxury bag and fashion videos! Today we are doing a storytime video about my pretty bad experience with Vestiaire Collective and why I wont be selling with them again. I hope you enjoy!

I honestly don't know how they stay in business. I opened an account over a month ago. I filled in all of the required identifying info, payment info, verfication info, etc. A couple weeks later I listed my first item. I received an email that my item was approved and live on the platform, and within an hour I tried logging into my account only to find that my account was suspended with no warning, no explanatory email, NOTHING. I've gone back and forth in their chat so many times with multiple agents that it's insane. Their responses constantly contradict one another. At this point, I feel like I'm in the twilight zone.

Vestiaire is rubbish for sellers. Takes ages to upload photos and then bot offers that “back out “. When their offer is accepted. Total waste of time

This is classic Vestiaire Collective. They take no responsibility for their f-ups, and they are many; they gaslight you in customer support for as long as they can; and ultimately, they communicate like Tarzan. I've had really bizarre experiences with them like this one time some bozos in the authentication department kept asking for an authenticity card from a brand that doesn't offer one. How they get away with such sheer incompetence is beyond me.

I had the same bad experience twice, and they have my items in their possession. They want me to pay a fine before I can get my items back. So their making me pay for my own items. They said my items were re-listed but I still don’t see it on the site at all. Their listing editors and authenticity agents are not on the same page. The system just benefits them but not the seller. We are in the mercy of their quality control team whom are not all knowledgeable in their field, so we loose our credibility and our badges as sellers even if we disclose all the correct information about our items.

Hello, I am one of your Subs and I like your videos! I did want to say I don’t think Vestiaire wants any mention of other websites in their listings. They probably should have sent you an email explaining this. Also, when you state in a listing you have an authenticity card it means the manufacturers authenticity card not a third party. You could have said I purchased the bag from a reputable reseller and it comes with their authenticity card not a Chanel authenticity card. A Chanel bag with an authenticity card is worth quite a bit more then one without one. I’ve sold many bags on Vestiaire and my experience has usually been pretty good. However, I do agree communication with them can be quite challenging. I’m sorry you had to go through all of that. Good luck selling your vintage Chanel it’s a very pretty color!

I've just sold my first item on VC. I don't have an authenticity card. But I have the receipts and box. Will that be okay? I want my sale to go smoothly

Thank you so much for sharing your experience, the QC team is a nightmare. I just experienced a similar situation where they said my bag was missing the strap which I had wrapped in tissue to prevent damage. The strap was just not clearly hanging on the bag when it arrived to them. They just went for the dust bag and didn't bother to look at the contents in the box. I even had it labelled "strap". How incompetent are their QC team??? So now I don't know if they lost my strap for the bag which is upsetting.

Third party authenticity card doesn’t add any value to a bag the way a Chanel authenticity card does.

Hi! I'm working on vestiare collective and I need your advice! Im currently trying to reach their Milan management or a higher position phone number..(as u probably know it is embracing to talk to their customer service). It's been a month my money won't come to me (they keep telling they can't verify my card and Id once the five days waiting is over, then I confirm everything, then they tell "the money is sent" and once five days are over the situation repeats in circle.) what should I do? They ignore my complains and my asking for receipts of the payment and phone numbers...

Same happened to me. They removed my description many times if I mentioned another resale company ( The real real) where I bought them. I guess why. Competition between them.😅

Every selling site does this. You can’t mention another website anywhere in your listing, messages, comments this is nothing new.

I had a horrendous experience this week..I ordered an LV small crossbody bag that was listed in “very good” condition. When the bag arrived there were what looked like coffee stains on the top near the zipper that not depicted on their website. I sent it back and they accepted the return after I sent photos; then a few days later they said the bag was true to the description…which was a load of crap. They resisted and are planning to take their portion out if it sells. I’ve ordered tens of thousands of dollars of bags from other sites and never had such a rude and pig headed response. Yours is not an isolated occurrence.

I have the same experience with Vestiaire Collective the last few years. They changed my description for several items, to the point that it doesn’t even make sense. I always chat with an agent when I found out. I insisted that they change it to the way I wanted my items to be listed. Luckily they complied with my requests. I have not sold anything on that platform since last Summer after another bad experience.

Sold a real watch on there and the buyer was a fraudster. Sold an omega x swatch moon watch. After shipping the product I was alerted saying that the item is not authentic. This was a 100% real item with a reciept. It was then shipped off by the seller to the Vestiaire Collective for verification. No response after that. Haven’t got the product back nor got h the money. Of course they were not helpful at all in resolving this issue at all. Terrible company stay away!

As a buyer I have soooo many issues with Vestiaire Collective. Their customer care service is horrible, they intentionally delay so that you miss your 72hr period to report and issue and when you do manage to report it by some miracle, they refuse a refund because they insist you re-list it. I received a item with a missing piece which was not indicated in the description and their expert reviewers also never mentioned it in their Quality Assurance. They support their refusal for a refund because under the product listing someone had asked the seller about the product and they mentioned that indeed one of the pieces was missing. But this is not transparent, as missing pieces should be mentioned clearly in the description and shown in the photos. Now I am stuck with an item I can not use, I paid a lot for and they are making me re-list it on my profile. I refuse to list something faulty/damaged/missing pieces.
