This Tesla is irrational. But I enjoy trading it. Bought at 170 sold it at 260. Not bad at all in such a short period.. 😂

I agree with your overall sentiment but the the problem is that Tesla has never traded like a rational large cap. History has shown us these hype cycles can last months to years without any support from the companies fundamentals. That's because much of Tesla can be viewed as a composite of vertically integrated disruptor startups that are difficult to price since they are investing more than earning. And any company associated with musk gets additional meme-stock leverage. Tesla has many many many short to mid-term catalysts which are bound to change earnings estimates (probably not this year, but by 2025 to 2026) and the question is whether it will get weighed before then or trade on hype until the fundamentals catch up. In other words, i won't be adding more to my portfolio, but if i was looking for a long term entry i wouldn't exactly hold my breath for a more reasonable price.

Agreed. Fundamentals don’t support the current rallies. Exited TSLA at $247 earlier in the year. Will pick up again once the frenzies cool down.

Was about to invest 15,000 in Tesla at 250 a share but decided against it realizing Tesla has more growing to do and maybe more pain. This video helps my decision to wait and see where the stock goes and future announcements from Tesla.

Parkev: I own Tesla, I really appreciate your thoughts on valuation. A few things this valuation fails to consider... Megapak, Powerwall, Solar tiles... all rising rapidly, and margins growing.... throw in market excitement over growth of Semitruck, FSD, Robotaxi, Optimus, etc... I expect a jump to at least $265 (again) before the end of the year, combined with slowing of CapEx which will increase EPS.

It may be a little risky, however, this company is way more than cars, it has almost all the future tech in it. Ev with AI self driving, robotics, solar energy, home energy, and more, so I do believe it will growth a lot more in the long term, don't know for this year. Best

I think you may be overly bearish considering tsla stock isn’t only controlled by delivery reports. Tesla has previously held a valuation of double where it’s at now. Tesla also has probably double the realistic potential today.

Great analysis. There are conflicting views on Tesla. Bulls and Bears are as divisive as the current political narrative in the US. Reality is that the truth is somewhere in between. I have been bullish and been a TSLA investors over the last 5 years. I think this is a very fair price target for 2024. Earnings will drive the lofty goals. Great company, great management, tremendous upside but we gotta be patient! 🙏🏼🔥💯👌💎

@@tonyd9265 it’s more the consumer’s liking to fsd. Especially the older generation and also leaves a lot of people without a job and can sink companies like Uber. Then, there comes to the cost of such a project and all the regulations. 10 years is likely to mean more probable I agree but definitely can’t see it happening within the next 5

It's an energy infrastructure, automation, and robotics company (the name "Tesla" really says it all). Basically the full stack of nex-gen acquisition, storage, and utilization of energy. Spearheading the "electrification revolution" so to speak. It was never a "car company". One can simply look back to the vision of the original founders or any one of the numerous published "master plans" to put that myth to rest. Vehicles were an important demonstration of the potential of renewable energies and they were the first product to reach maturity but by no means were they ever the company's end goal. From the perspective of investing, you should probably view it as a company that is a composite of vertically integrated start-ups that are potentially high-risk high reward. Though, keeping in mind they are ran by the man with the most productive portfolio of disruptor start-up companies ever witnessed in history. Still there are some duds in that portfolio (ie boring company) and potential risks
